- Breakout Character: The Dalek Inquisitor General is this as far as the fic is concerned. The General actually is a real character that appeared in a licensed Doctor Who novel, "Prisoner of the Daleks"
In that novel, he actually displayed most of the characteristics he has in the fic. He killed Daleks under his command for being inefficient, and was described as the Devil in Dalek form. The novel ends with the Doctor leaving the General, otherwise known as Dalek X, on an abandoned planet, but not before Dalek X swears to hunt the Doctor down. - What Could Have Been: The original idea for the story had Sec appear on Mid-childa.
