Pre-series

  • c. 8704 BC: Future Alienizer Quotaian Dagonel is born. (Episode. 07)
  • While traveling the universe, Zoinaian Baytonin crash lands on Earth after an accident. Arriving in Kyoto, his wounds are treated by Bannoshin Akaza of the Shinsengumi who also teaches him the art of bushido which he grows to admire. Baytonin ultimately returns to his home planet to reunite with his family, but promises to one day return to protect Kyoto. Not realizing his immensely long lifespan compared to humans, however, Baytonin will not return for another 140 years. (Episode. 18)
  • 1989: The Speckionian Genio searches for material for his living art on Earth only to end up pursued by the Space Police after a slip up. While on the run, the Alienizer blows an oncoming car out of the way, from which, while conflicted over saving a life, he recovers the young Tekkan Aira without thinking. Remaining trapped, the boy's concussed mother percieves the figure as a rescue worker and tells Tekkan how happy she was to have bore him and that she will love him always before she is killed along with his father as the car explodes. With Genio taking his leave thereafter, the young Tekkan comes to the care of the Space Police, joining their HQ - headed by Supreme Commander Horusian Numa-O - where he will train to become an officer himself.   • 1991: A serial Alienizer theft and murder spree occurs on Earth, perpetrated by the Tenkaonian trio of Raja Namunan and his partners: Goren Nashi and Yam Tomukun. Among Raja Namunan's victims is the recently immigrated Detective Chou's daughter, having attempted to aid her father in his investigation. The case will remain unsolved for thirteen years. (Episode. 35)
  • 2002:
    • Houji Tomasu's friend Vino quits the Space Police on Bileeza, becoming Intergalactic Hitman Gigantes. (Episode. 11)
    • Exploiting the planet Crystal's lack of a light source for the Alienizer to escape through, Tekkan Aira, now DekaBreak of Special Police Dekaranger's Tokkyou division, pursues and captures the Speckionian Genio, who swears to one day inflict upon him suffering worse than death before he is sent to Prison Planet Alcapo's special solitary confinement so Space Police researchers can develop a way to free his captive victims in the mirror world before deleting him. (Episode. 28-29)

  • After completing basic training for becoming a Dekaranger, Banban Akaza (DekaRed) is assigned to return home to Earth to become the red for their squadron. The Dekarangers defeat Lovelian Balan Su. (Episode. 1)
  • Rainian Agent Abrella begins a silent infiltration of the Earth underworld, becoming their broker for weaponry and Heavy Industrial Machines mecha. To counter this, the Dekarangers learn to combine their Deka Machines to become Dekaranger Robo. The Dekrangers defeat Diamantian Don Moyaida (Episode. 2)

  • With Earth Branch Dekaranger having problems with the Hell Siblings, they request back-up from elite Dekaranger division Tokkyou, leading to the Earth-born Tekkan "Tetsu" Aira (DekaBreak) to be assigned for assistance, bringing with him his own mecha, DekaBike. (Episode. 22)
  • With assistance of DekaBreak, the Dekarangers judge and delete the Hell Siblings. Tetsu asks for reassignment to remain on Earth for assistance and to learn further about the methods of the Dekarangers of Earth Branch. (Episode. 23)
  • The Dekarangers assist Mary Gold (DekaGold of Planet Leslie) in freeing mutual planets from the Algolian Gas Drinkers' scheme of destroying a planet's lifeforms for selling them the cure to their malady. (The Movie)

  • The Dekarangers work with the Abarangers to spoil a scheme by Ginjifuan Kazak to assist Saunaginnan, the last evil Trinoid, from resurrecting Dezumozorlya, to which Asuka also returns from Dino Earth to help his teammates (as his daughter Mikoto still possesses Lije's ability to transfer between worlds); though the Alienizer and Trinoid appear to succeed, it is ultimately a failure by instead summoning Mikoto Nakadai for a short period to defeat them.   • Abrella sells a new Muscle Gear to members of a notable space mafia, defeating the Dekarangers with ease. Kruger reassigns the main Earth branch Dekarangers to planet Torto to train with Tortornian Buntar and gain the SWAT Mode to defeat the Muscle Gear. (Episode. 32-33)
  • With their SWAT Mode training complete, the Dekarangers gain the Patwing mecha and the Dekawing Robo combination to assist them and use alongside their training for more advance Kaijuki fights. The Dekrangers defeat Thousanian Gineka. (Episode. 34)

  • In order to defeat former SPD scientist Poppenian Hymal, Cignian Swan Shiratori utilizes her SP license to become DekaSwan to assist the other Dekarangers. (Episode. 36)
  • Houji "Hoji" Tomasu (DekaBlue) passes the test to become a Tokkyou, but declines promotion due to the means to achieve it. The Dekarangers defeat Mikean Clord. (Episode. 37)

  • Abrella uses several specific Alienizers to smuggle in goods and create energy for his ultimate plan to take down the SPD of Earth. The Dekarangers defeat Sukekonoian Mashu. (Episode. 46)
  • The Dekarangers defeat Dynamoian Terry X. Leonian Gyoku Rou, a former DekaRed of Earth, invites Ban to become a member of his special Fire Squad for greater missions tied to SPD. (Episode. 47)
  • After gaining the feeling of Earth Branch's ability to move on without him and assisting Tetsu in defeating Kulernian Jellyfis, Ban decides to accept his promotion. However, while fighting off Jellyfis with Super Dekaranger Robo, Abrella reveals this was part of his plan to distract the Dekarangers, allowing him to enact his ultimate plan. (Episode. 48)
  • After freeing several high-class Alienizers, Abrella invades Earth and forcefully takes over DekaBase, hoping to use DekaBase Robo to cause chaos and to lock out any other SPD from reaching Earth through its security net. Meanwhile, while returning with Riding Dekaranger Robo to repel the invasion, the Dekarangers are attacked by Abarella's mecha Abretrex. In the process, Dekaranger Robo is destroyed, and Doggie is badly injured and presumed dead after fighting as DekaMaster who was hurt while trying to protect Swan after she was captured and helped her escape. Despite orders from Chief Commander Numa-O to stand down, Sen is able to figure out an underground bunker is located where the Deka Base previously was. This leads the Dekarangers to discover that prior to her capture, Swan was able to remotely move the Patwing mecha out of the DekaBase before Abarella gained full control. With this as their fighting chance to bring down Abarella's invasion force, Tetsu uses DekaWing Robo and DekaBike Robo to hold off Abretrex while allowing the main team Dekaranger to sneak into DekaBase and then after destroying Abretrex focuses on DekaBase Robo to prevent Abrella from further damaging the city. However Abrella shuts down their transformation system leaving them as ordinary humans. (Episode. 49)
  • While Tetsu holds off DekaBase Robo, though the DekaBike Robo is destroyed and DekaWing Robo is badly damaged and rendered immobilized, Jasmine learns of how they can regain control of the DekaBase. In their final confrontation, the untransformed Dekaranger use their teamwork to regain control and restore their powers (along with warning Numa-O of Abrella's trap), allowing them to take apart Abrella's invasion force and finally remove him from DekaBase. Once removed, the space broker is finally approved for deletion by the Highest Court of the Universe and eliminated forever by the Dekarangers. In the aftermath of the battle, the Dekarangers learn that Doggie had survived the battle. Later, with Earth Branch in good hands, Ban and Murphy begin their assignment with Fire Squad under Gyoku Rou. (Episode. 50)

Post-series

  • 2006:
    • The Dekarangers team up with the Magirangers to defeat Hades Beastman Demon Apollos, who has inherited Abrella’s business as his protégé Agent X. (Magiranger Vs. Dekaranger)
    • As one of the first 30 Super Sentai, Deka Red's Red Warrior spirit is inherited by AkaRed. (Boukenger vs. Super Sentai)
  • 2011: The Dekarangers, among the first 34 Super Sentai, oppose an invasion of Earth by the Space Empire Zangyack in what becomes known the Legend War, ending with all Super Sentai sacrificing their power to destroy the invasion fleet. Dispersed throughout the universe, the powers ultimately resurface as Ranger Keys whilst the former Super Sentai disband. (Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger ep. 1, 199 Hero Great Battle)
  • 2012: A month following the defeat of the second Zangyack invasion, the powers of the 34 Super Sentai are returned to them by the Gokaigers. (Gokaiger ep. 51)
  • 2012: The Dekarangers, among the first 34 Super Sentai, are apparently defeated by Tsukasa Kadoya (Kamen Rider Decade), Great Leader of Dai-Shocker which seeks to wipe out the Super Sentai, opposing Dai-Zangyack led by Emperor (formerly Captain) Marvelous (Gokai Red) who are hunting the Kamen Riders. Infact, all the presumed deceased Sentai and Riders had been transported to the dimensional rift, from which they emerge to defeat the new Shocker-Zangyack Alliance. (Super Hero Taisen)
  • 2013:
    • The Dekarangers participate in the battle against Space Shocker. (Super Hero Taisen Z)
    • Doggie Kruger is framed by Kight Reidlich for accepting bribes to leak info to the Space Mafia’s Qurlian Family, but is critically shot by a mafia member in a scuffle that sees the members and a civilian witness killed, and Kruger’s comatose body is taken to a hospital on Planet Revaful. The sole surviving witness—a Clementian named Carrie—emerges from her father Amata’s corpse and goes on the run. (Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger: 10 YEARS AFTER)
  • 2015: SPD commissioner Kight Reidlich is exposed as an Alienizer who framed Doggie Kruger for his own corruption and murders via the Mirage Dimension technology and terminated by the reunited Dekarangers. (Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger: 10 YEARS AFTER)
  • 2017:
    • The Dekarangers, among the first 38 Super Sentai, provide their power for the Ninningers and Zyuohgers to defeat Gillmarda. (Zyuohger vs. Ninninger)
    • In order to infiltrate the GPU for Genmaku, Butterfly Ninja Benikibai kills Space Sheriff Maki and takes her identity. Commander Sophie of the GPU becomes captured within a compound by a revived Hellvira who makes it harder due to her pheromones causing males to attack one another if they draw near her amidst her violent attacks. In order to find proper candidates for dealing with Hellvira, ten female officers from various departments are drugged and take part in holographic simulations set up by Sisi and Horusian Birdie to figure out a means to stop her and who would be best to deal with the situation. In the end, Space Sheriffs Shelly, Tamy and Maki are chosen after they finally stop Hellvira on their 17th attempt; while Marika Hiwatani and Koume Kodou of the Special Police Dekaranger are turned down, despite the vouching from their boss Doggie Kruger that they work perfectly as a team and their assistance of the GPU females in defeating simulated Hellvira. he three Space Sheriff females infiltrate the warehouse to confront Hellvira until Maki reveals herself to be Benikiba and works with the invader against Shelly and Tamy. Umeko and Jasmine move in to assist, ultimately defeating Hellvira while a combination of Shelly and the berserk mode of Tamy pushes back Benikiba and forces her to retreat.     • The Dekarangers team up with Space Sheriff Gavan Type-G and the Kyurangers. (Kyuranger Space.18)
