Pre-series

  • 2000 years before the start of the series, Victor, a seeker of knowledge, gathers a band of friends in search of the world's source of wisdom. They happen upon Wonder World, granting them an untold source of power and knowledge.
  • Storious, one of said friends, convinces two others - Legeiel and Zooous - to take parts of the Book of Omniscience to gain great power, becoming the Megid generals. Their interference causes untold conflict, and Viktor and his friend, the first Master Logos, decide to split the remnants of the Book of Omniscience between them as a safeguard.
  • 1000 years before the start of the series, Bahato, Yuri and an unnamed swordsman declare friendship. The third swordsman later murders Bahato's family for unknown reasons, driving the latter insane and forcing Yuri to seal him in the Book of Ruin using the Saikou and Kurayami.
  • Master Logos creates Sophia using a special book, as a replacement for the Priestess of Wonder World. She is then put in charge of Northern Base.
  • Seventeen years before the main series, Ryo Ogami and Tetsuo Daishinji join the Sword of Logos as Kamen Rider Buster and Kamen Rider Slash, respectively. (Kamen Rider Saber Spin-off: Sword of Logos Saga)
  • Around the same time, Hayato Fukamiya, Kamen Rider Calibur, begins having visions of the end of the world through the power of his Seiken, Kurayami.
  • Fifteen years before the main series, Touma Kamiyama meets Kento Fukamiya and Luna and befriends them.
  • Around the same time, Kento's father Hayato betrays the Sword of Logos, kidnaps Luna during an invasion by the Megid. Unbeknownst to many, Master Logos manipulated him into doing so.
    • Kenshin Nagamine, the then Kamen Rider Blades, is defeated and killed by Zooous.
    • Kyoichiro Shinsen and Amane Kagami, the then Kamen Riders Espada and Kenzan respectively, are defeated and killed by Desast.
    • Daichi Kamijo, the then Kamen Rider Saber, rescues Touma and defeats Hayato, taking up Kurayami in his stead.

  • Reika Shindai turns the Northern Base Riders against Touma, forcing him on the run. (Ep. 16)
  • Yuri, Kamen Rider Saikou, makes his formal debut and rescues Touma from the other Riders. (Ep. 16)
  • The Kamen Riders defeat the Yeti Megid. (Ep. 16-18)
  • The Kamen Riders defeat the Ousama Megid. (Ep. 19-20)
  • Yuri obtains the power of the X-Swordsman Wonder Ride Book. (Ep. 21)

  • Luna appears in the real world, seemingly freed from her prison. (Ep. 34)
  • Reika kidnaps Luna as part of Master Logos' plan. (Ep. 35)
  • Master Logos enacts his plan to recreate the Book of All in the hopes of ascending to godhood. (Ep. 35)
  • An all-out battle between the Northern and Southern Base swordsmen occurs, during which Logos acquires the Seikens and Books as its patron Riders are disabled or incapacitated. (Ep. 35)
  • Kamen Rider Calibur manages to seal the Seikens Logos gathered so far, at the cost of his own gear shortly thereafter due to interference from Bahato. (Ep. 35)
  • Touma intervenes at the last minute to foil Master Logos' plan, defeating Bahaot with Emotional Dragon and eventually rescuing Luna. This unseals the Seikens and returns them to their respective wielders, including a revived Yuri. (Ep. 35)
  • The sabotaged ritual still gives Master Logos the Omniforce Wonder Ride Book and its accompanying sword, Caladbolg. (Ep. 35)
  • Master Logos transforms into Kamen Rider Solomon for the first time, fighting all of the Northern swordsmen including a returned Slash and Buster. (Ep. 36)
  • Master Logos announces his destructive plans to the world to the world at-large, encouraging people to fight amongst themselves to win the privilege of surviving. This later causes the Shindai siblings to turn on him - putting their differences with their enemies aside to combat Solomon. (Ep. 36)
  • The purported destiny of the wielder of the Kaenken Rekka is revealed by Yuri: To obtain the power of (and eventually disappear into) Wonder World. Kento intends to seal Logos and himself away with the Kurayami to prevent this. He is approached by Sophia afterwards for reasons unknown. (Ep. 36)
  • Yuri reveals to the group Touma and Kento's clashing sacrificial destinies, which Touma and Rintaro go forth to prevent when Sophia's attempts to talk Kento down fail. A spiritual essence is seen following Kento around. (Ep. 37)
  • Ren confronts Touma and challenges him, losing the duel despite his efforts. Touma's attempts to reason with him strike a chord but remain unsuccessful. Meanwhile, Yuri and Mei try and fail to reason with Bahato. (Ep. 37)
  • Kento fights alongside his friends for the first time in ages against Kamen Rider Solomon, who destroys a chunk of the city as a show of force. (Ep. 37)
  • Kento attempts to seal Solomon and himself away using the Kurayami. Touma however intervenes and prevents the ritual. Yuri spirits Solomon away by dual-wielding Saikou and Kurayami briefly. (Ep. 37)
  • Issac spreads more book-constructs across the world and uses them to destroy cities. (Ep. 38)
  • Kento re-takes the mantle of Kamen Rider Espada after a heart-to-heart conversation with his father, Hayato. (Ep. 38)
  • Touma clashes once more against Bahato, who refuses to abandon his nihilism until Touma hurts him for the first time in 1000 years. Bahato departs, leaving the Kyomu behind. (Ep. 38)
  • Kamen Rider Saber uses the power of all active Seikens and transforms into Xross Saber for the first time, destroying Solomon's book-constructs with the power of his friends. After the battle, an unknown individual steals the Kyomu. (Ep. 38)
  • Tassel returns to Wonder World in the flesh, and begins to search for Luna. (Ep. 39)
  • As a way of settling their debt to Touma, the Shindais raid the Southern Base, managing to recover the rest of the Wonder Ride Books, but not before Isaac wounds Ryoga. (Ep. 39)
  • Fascinated by the creation-powers of the Xross Saber, Issac and Storious attempt to establish an alliance with Touma. Meanwhile, Kento has a heart-to-heart with Ren.(Ep. 39)
  • Touma and Rintaro defeat Kamen Rider Solomon and the second Charybdis Megid. (Ep. 39)
    • Touma, Rintaro and Kento encounter the Orihime World and join forces with Zox Goldtsuiker to defeat it. (Ep. Special)
    • The Shindai Siblings pursue Zox to the World of Zenkaiger, wherein they assist in the defeat of the Hikoboshi World. (Ep. 20 Zenkaiger)
  • Isaac uses the power of the Omniforce to turn Ryoga against Reika. Ogami and Daishinji intervene, later saving them both. (Ep. 40)
  • Isaac attempts to capture Luna once again but is opposed by Touma, Rintaro and Kento. (Ep. 40)
  • Tassel makes contact with Luna and reveals her true nature as Wonder World itself given physical form. Touma's destiny to disappear into Wonder World is discussed. (Ep. 40)
  • Rintaro and Kento escape Issac's controlling magic to help Touma transform into Featuring Saber for the first time. The ensuing battle destroys the Omniforce and mortally wounds Issac. Issac flees and reforms the Omniforce only to be intercepted and murdered by Storious, who takes the Book for himself. (Ep. 40)
  • Desast reveals himself as the new owner of the Mumeiken Kyomu and transforms into Kamen Rider Falchion, battling Storious and the Charybdis Megid. He survives, but his Alter Ride Book is critically damaged. (Ep. 41)
  • Tassel makes contact with the swordsmen of the Northern Base and confronts Touma over his impending destiny. (Ep. 41)
  • Touma, Ogami and Daishinji destroy the Charybdis Megid for a third time. (Ep. 41)
  • Storious confronts Tassel in Wonder World and kills him, seeking his piece of the Omniscient Tome. (Ep. 42)
  • Wonder World begins encroaching on the real world. Touma and company manage to stop its spread, at least temporarily. (Ep. 42)
  • Ren and Desast each begin feeling the effects of life without a purpose and respond differently - Ren resolving to change and Desast provoking Saber. Saber confronts Desast about his lack of purpose, which causes him to leave. (Ep.42)
  • Storious gathers all the pieces of the Omniscient Tome held by the previous chosen of Wonder World. (Ep. 42)
  • Desast and Ren's inner turmoil boils over, forcing the two into a final confrontation. Ren defeats Desast once and for all, but not before the Megid delivers some final advice. (Ep. 43)
  • Touma, Reika and Ryoga team up in to fight Storious, who begins enacting his plans for the pieces of the Tome. (Ep. 43)
  • Storious enacts the next major step of his plan, allowing Charybdis to consume a multitude of Alter Ride Books, his Sophia copy, and even himself in order to create a new Ride Book. (Ep. 43)
  • Storious resurrects the Four Sages as part of his plan, destroying the barriers keeping Wonder World separated from Earth in the process. Sophia, Yuri and Luna's bodies begin fading away as a side-effect. (Ep. 44)
  • Storious transforms into Kamen Rider Storious for the first time using the Grimoire Ride Book. The Book turns the Four Sages into battle-drones shortly after. The heroes are soundly defeated. (Ep. 44)
  • Touma and Kento make contact with Luna and spend the day with her. The three promise to reunite. The other swordsmen get their own personal affairs in order; Rintaro approaching Mei and the Shindais while Ogami spends the night with his family. Yuri gives Sophia the Kurayami to protect her from fading away. (Ep. 44)
  • The swordsmen all meet at the break of dawn and march on Wonder World to confront Storious. (Ep. 44)
  • Sophia transforms into Kamen Rider Calibur for the first time, joining the swordsmen in an assault on Storious' tower. (Ep. 45)
  • The heroes contend with the Four Sages, each of whom are engaged by specific Riders that stay behind to fight them. (Ep. 45)
  • Luna confronts Storious in an attempt to talk him down. This fails and worsens her fading. Mei runs into her shortly after. (Ep. 45)
  • Daishinji and Ren defeat one of the Sages at the cost of the sound swordsman's life. Desast's Alter Ride Book disappears. (Ep. 45)
  • Ogami, Daishinji (who survived) and the Shindai siblings seemingly give their lives to take down two of the Four Sages. (Ep. 46)
  • Storious tells Touma of his origins as a novelist. Discovering his works already recorded in the Book of Omniscience caused him to lose all faith in people and their creativity. He and Touma then battle, with Storious as the victor. (Ep. 46)
  • Mei, discovering that stories and people are fading from the world, hurries a story of her own along. Luna meanwhile struggles to make her way to the tower and meet Touma. (Ep. 46)
  • Kenzan and Espada manage to defeat the final Sage at the cost of their lives. Yuri uses the last of his power to save them. (Ep. 47)
  • Touma is saved from his fall by the Primitive Dragon, allowing him to battle Storious again in earnest. Rintaro and Kento arrive to defend him. (Ep. 47)
  • Making contact with Touma, Luna sacrifices herself to grant Touma the Almighty Wonder Ride Book. Saber, Blades and Espada engage Storious in the final battle, overwhelming him with the power of stories. Storious finally remembers why he began writing in the first place, but dies realizing he doomed the world. (Ep. 47)
  • Using Humanity's remaining story-power (including what Mei was working on), Touma remakes Wonder World - repairing Earth in the process. Those that disappeared during the apocalypse are returned to Earth some time after. (Ep.47)
  • Touma, ushered on by the spirits of the fallen, returns to Earth and reunites with his friends. (Ep. 47)
  • The Shindai siblings appoint Rintaro as the new Master Logos. His first act is to abolish the title and replace it with a ruling council consisting of himself, Yuri, Sophia and Ryoga. (Special Issue)
  • While protecting a group of childhood friends from the Hopper Deadman, Touma and Kento make contact with an odd boy and his demonic partner - revealed to be Kamen Riders Revi and Vice. The two help the swordsmen dispatch the demon, inviting them to visit their onsen before parting ways. (Special Issue)
  • Each of the swordsmen go their separate ways: Ogami enters civilian life to become a teacher and raise his son, Daishinji resumes his profession as a swordsmith, Ren goes on another pilgrimage, Rintaro and Mei get together, the Shindai siblings continue working for the Sword of Logos and Touma and Kento co-operate the Kamiyama Bookstore. Post-series

  • One year after the final battle, the Shindai siblings are contacted by SoL agent Rui Mitarai, representative of a family whose social standing is equal to theirs. Mitarai seeks Reika's hand in marriage, but the former does not reciprocate and only relents after a failed attempt to drive him off. Meanwhile, Ren fights a Megid he's never seen before and notifies Ryoga. A two-pronged investigation outs Mitarai as the monster, who was so desperate to change the world that he killed his own uncle to improve his influence. The siblings team up and destroy the new Megid; encouraging Mitarai to change for the better. (KR Saber Spin-Off: Sabela and Durandal)
  • Eight years after the battle with Storious, a battle takes place at Fantastic Bookstore Kamiyama. The fighting causes an inferno that destroys the building. The Mumeiken Kyomu manifests at the scene and makes contact with Touma's adoptive son Riku. The vengeful split personality Mamiya is created is a result. (KRS: Trio Of Deep Sin)
  • Mamiya declares revenge on the Sword of Logos for the death of his father and inserts himself into Touma's childhood as a "fourth friend;" spending the preceding eight years gaining the trust of the Sword of Logos at-large. In the present, Mamiya and two other co-conspirators begin using the Amazing Siren Wonder Ride Book to erase the swordsmen progressively from existence. (KRS: Trio of Deep Sin)
  • Rintaro encounters his father, who transforms into Falchion and attacks him on behalf of those that died in a battle. Rintaro is victorious and the two reconcile, yet the Swordsman of Water fades away. (KRS: Trio Of Deep Sin)
  • Kento unlocks the power of the Arabiana Night Wonder Ride Book to do battle with his fiancé: the second Falchion who sought revenge for her ex, who ended up a casualty. He manages to defeat her but fades away as well. (KRS: Trio of Deep Sin)
  • Mamiya repeatedly ambushes the boy Riku in the hopes of killing him and driving Touma into despair, but their dog Lucky (who he's scared of) intercepts him at every point. He eventually confronts Touma directly and the two clash as Kamen Riders. Riku grabs the Kaenken Rekka and clashes with Falchion out of desperation; revealing the two as one and the same. Realizing that Touma was the father he was trying to avenge the entire time, Mamiya relents and travels back to the day of the fire - preventing Riku from gripping the Kyomu and un-doing the film's events. Even with the paradox resolved, Mamiya is shown to exist in the modern day. (KRS: Trio Of Deep Sin)
