Pre-series

  • 1965: Ryu Tendo/Red Hawk is born.
  • 1966: Gai Yuuki/Black Condor is born.
  • 1969: Raita Ooishi/Yellow Owl and Kaori Rokumeikan/White Swan are born.
  • 1973: Ako Hayasaka/Blue Swallow is born.
  • 1985: Ken'ichi Ota commits robbery and murder as he robs a bank, forcing an officer to pursue him for the next six years as part of his final case on the force. (Ep. 12)
  • April 12, 1989: On her sixteenth birthday, Shizuko Mabuki, the daughter of painter Shuichiro Mabuki, lost her life in a traffic accident. With her passage, Mabuki loses his will to live; but decides to paint one last painting of his daughter with all of the love within her soul locked within it. (Ep. 16)
  • December 23, 1990: Skyforce agents Ryu Tendo and his girlfriend, Rie Aoi, are recommended for the procedure to partake in Birdonic Waves and become Jetman. (Ep. 1)

Series

  • Ryu Tendo is the first to partake in birdonic waves and become a Jetman, but before the process can be continued, Dimensional War Party Vyram begins it's invasion of earth and destroys Skybase's spaceship. Ryu and his commander, Aya Odagiri, barely escape, but Rie is presumed dead. The birdonic waves spread to earth and affect four individuals: Kaori Rokumeikan, Raita Ooishi, Ako Hayasaka and Gai Yuki. Ryu and Aya find Kaori and Raita, and the two join Jetman. (Ep. 1)
  • The Jetmen defeat Fighter Dimension. Ako joins Jetman, but Gai leaves after the fight. (Ep. 2)
  • The Jetmen defeat Faucet Dimension. Gai officially joins the team. (Ep. 3)
  • The Jetmen defeat Road Dimension. Gai reveals that he desires Kaori for himself, but her obsession with Ryu makes him decide to pursue her until she finally falls for him. (Ep. 4 & 5)
  • The Jetmen defeat House Dimension. (Ep. 6)
  • The Jetmen defeat Mirror Dimension. (Ep. 7)
  • The Jetmen defeat Diamond Dimension. (Ep. 8)

  • Empress Juuza, the true Vyram leader, arrives in the Front Dimension to awaken the Destruction Beast Semimaru. When Back Dimensional Count Radiguet tries to overthrow her, she defeats him and forces him to become a memoryless human on Earth. (Ep. 17)
  • After spending time with a sickly girl named Saki, Radiguet regains his memory and assists the Jetman and the other Vyram generals in defeating Juuza while taking Semimaru for himself, with it being born from Juuza's successful gathering of energy from the pain and anguish of humans. Though gaining some sympathy from Saki and even nearly saving her life from a deadly disease, he ultimately takes the energy back from her when she tries to convince Radiguet that he has good inside him after all, killing her instantly. (Ep. 18)
  • The Jetmen defeat Divination Dimension. (Ep. 19)
  • The Jetmen defeat Vacuum Dimension. (Ep. 20)
  • The Jetmen defeat Poohtan/Trash Dimension. (Ep. 21)
  • Semimaru matures into its adult form which easily crushes the Jetman in combat, only for them to be saved by Jet Garuda, a mecha brought by three warriors from Dimensia, a Back Dimension planet. Dimensians Ray, Kanna and Dan sacrifice their lives in order to help the Jetman figure a way to combine Jet Icarus and Jet Garuda into the more powerful Great Icarus formation, which is used to finally destroy Semimaru. (Ep. 22-24)
  • The Jetmen defeat Light Armadillo. (Ep. 25)
  • The Jetmen defeat Space-Time Mammoth. (Ep. 26)
  • When Ako, Gai and Raita's souls are taken by Radiguet, Ryu pursues them into the spiritual world to rescue them. (Ep. 27)
  • The Jetmen defeat Dryer Dimension. (Ep. 28)
  • The Jetmen defeat Armor Snake. (Ep. 29)
  • Ancient Majin Mu attempts to use Kaori for the awakening of its masters, Majin Ramon and Gorg; in the process, she reveals her love for Gai when he nearly sacrifices his own blood. Ultimately Mu falls but Radiguet uses his own blood for Ramon & Gorg's awakening. The Jetman complete a third mecha: the self-AI Tetra Boy which assists in killing Majin Gorg. Ryu discovers that Maria is in actuality the presumed dead Rie; after having a breakdown from the revelation, the team assists him to get back up and fight even with his desire now to save her. Radiguet infects Ramon with Dimension Bugs within the corpse of Gorg, which makes him fall under Vyram control until the Jetman defeat the last of the Majin. (Ep. 30-32)
  • The Jetmen defeat Adhesive Cockroach. (Ep. 33)
  • The Jetmen defeat Strange Jigenal Lifeform Hell Medusa. (Ep. 34)
  • The Jetmen defeat Toxic Rat. (Ep. 35)
  • The Jetmen defeat Ant Bazooka. Angered by everyone not respecting him, child villain Tran uses his anger and hatred to transform into an adult form, Tranza. (Ep. 36)
  • The Jetmen defeat Torpedo Piranha. Tranza easily crushes both Jetman and Vyram and takes over as the Vyram's new emperor. (Ep. 37)
  • The Jetmen defeat Laser Lizard and Hammer Chameleon. (Ep. 38)
  • The Jetmen defeat Sniper Cat. (Ep. 39)
  • The Jetmen are temporary replaced by the Neo-Jetman, but later return and defeat Meteor BEM. (Ep. 40 & 41)
  • The Jetmen defeat Trial Manufacture Robot G2. (Ep. 42)
  • The Jetmen defeat Leech Drill. (Ep. 43)
  • Tranza builds a massive mecha, Veronica, to finally show superiority to all; however in the midst of victory, Radiguet sabotages the machine so his superior wouldn't gain victory and the Jetman could stop it. But in the midst of his sabotage, Radiguet is absorbed within Veronica, gaining a massive energy surge that empowers and mutates him; he decides not to return to the Vyram as he tries to gain control of the new power. (Ep 44 & 45)
  • The Jetmen defeat Tomato Great King. (Ep. 46)
  • Tranza faces the Jetman by hunting them down one by one to finally eliminate them. With Ryu the only one left, he gains help from the disguised Radiguet to finally defeat Tranza. However instead of killing him, Radiguet disables him and makes his mind break down to the point he is carted off to a mental institution for the rest of his life. (Ep. 47)
  • The now mutated Radiguet infects Maria with a cell containing a portion of his power, changing her more and more into a monster in hopes to make her into his mindless slave; when Ryu tries to stop her to save whatever remains of Rie, she infects him turning him into a creature. A mysterious giant called Raguem appears; the Jetman try to face it but can't do anything even as it crushes Great Icarus with ease before it vanishes. (Ep. 49)
  • After being saved with the assistance of Kaori and Odagari, Ryu uses his memories of Rie to reawaken her and destroy all traces of the Maria personality within his girlfriend. When Radiguet attempts to reclaim her, Rie stabs him in the back before he slashes her; when Ryu tries to save her, she tells him to forget her before Rie dies within the arms of the robot Grey. With no other reason to live, Grey dies in a final showdown with Gai to be with Maria once again. After finally overcoming everything he had been through in trying and failing to save Rie, Ryu leads the team once again as the Jetman become a massive phoenix that easily crushes Radiguet. (Ep. 50)
  • Radiguet reveals himself as the enigmatic unstoppable giant Raguem, which the Jetman face with no means of defeating him until they realize that the wound Rie inflicted on him was large enough to give him a weak point. With Jet Garuda holding him down, the Jetman use Jet Icarus to stab the giant, destroying Radiguet and bringing an end to the Vyram threat. (Ep. 51)

Post-series

  • 1994: The 5 Super Sentainote  defeat an invasion of Earth by the Emperor Daidas and his forces. (Super Sentai World)
  • 1995: On the day of the wedding of Ryu Tendoh and Kaori Rokumeikan, former Jetman teammate Gai Yuki is stabbed while retrieving a woman's purse from a mugger. After one last moment with his teammates, Gai dies on a park bench unbeknownst to them. (Ep. 51, Gokaiger ep. 28)
  • 1997: Ryu and Kaori, now happily married with a baby son named in honour of Gai, reminisce about their time as part of the Jetman team. (Toei TV Hero Encyclopedia)
  • 2001: As one of the first 24 Super Sentai, the Jetmen provide their support in the Gaorangers fight against Lost Highness Duke Rakushaasa. (Gaoranger vs. Super Sentai)
  • 2006: As one of the first 30 Super Sentai, Red Hawk's Red Warrior spirit is inherited by AkaRed. (Boukenger vs. Super Sentai)
  • 2011: The Jetmen, among the first 34 Super Sentai, oppose an invasion of Earth by the Space Empire Zangyack in what becomes known the Legend War, ending with all Super Sentai sacrificing their power to destroy the invasion fleet. Dispersed throughout the universe, the powers ultimately resurface as Ranger Keys whilst the former Super Sentai disband. (Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger ep. 1, 199 Hero Great Battle)
  • 2012: A month following the defeat of the second Zangyack invasion, the powers of the 34 Super Sentai are returned to them by the Gokaigers. (Gokaiger ep. 51)
  • 2012: The Jetmen, among the first 34 Super Sentai, are apparently defeated by Tsukasa Kadoya (Kamen Rider Decade), Great Leader of Dai-Shocker which seeks to wipe out the Super Sentai, opposing Dai-Zangyack led by Emperor (formerly Captain) Marvelous (Gokai Red) who are hunting the Kamen Riders. Infact, all the presumed deceased Sentai and Riders had been transported to the dimensional rift, from which they emerge to defeat the new Shocker-Zangyack Alliance. (Super Hero Taisen)
  • 2013: Red Hawk joins in the battle against Space Crime Syndicate Madou's army of revived monsters. (Super Hero Taisen Z)
  • 2017: The Jetmen, among the first 38 Super Sentai, provide their power for the Ninningers and Zyuohgers to defeat Gillmarda. (Zyuohger vs. Ninninger)
  • 2019: The Jetmen are embroiled in the Super Sentai Strongest Battle. (Super Sentai Strongest Battle)
  • 2021: The Jetmen, among the first 44 Super Sentai, are embroiled in the Zenkaigers' conflict with the Kikaitopia Jetsty Tojitendo. (Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger)
