Episode 1
- The fact that Titas and Fuma were seemingly killed by Tregear is enough to provoke Taiga into sharing the same fate. Which also provokes Taro in the same way as he and Tregear clashes with their Ultra Dynamite. Mind you, this isn't the first time Taro has to watch those close to him die or sacrifice themselves for his own. The fact that Tregear seemingly kills Taiga was the final straw for Taro.
- Combines with Nightmare Fuel: The entire episode focuses on Hiroyuki, Kawazu and E.G.I.S.' effort to secure the Baby Zandrias, which fails and this forced the Young Mother Zandrias to defend her child from severe beatings of heavy hitter monsters, Zegan and Hellberus. She spent most of her scenes as a meat shield to her son and Hiroyuki before Taiga appears and to twist the knife further, Zandriases are critically endangered monsters due to being easy targets by predators.
Episode 2
- The fact that Hiroyuki's pet/friend critter Chibisuke becomes a monster weapon by some alien gang in a scheme to sell it to the highest bidder. Hiroyuki and Taiga's efforts in restoring Chibisuke to its senses paid off, but once Tregear appears, he spends no time provoking Taiga and torturing Chibisuke. He shoots Taiga with an energy beam, knowing that Chibisuke would commit a Heroic Sacrifice just to spite Hiroyuki even further.
Episode 3
- The villain of the week is a man who lost his wife because of extreme carelessness of the client that E.G.I.S. was guarding at the time send a rocket out of space to celebrate his birthday only for the rocket to collide with the space station where the couple were were using, destroying the space station and killing his wife in front of the poor man's eyes. He comes back to Earth to take revenge on the president with E.G.I.S. be facing a dilemma as they understand the poor guy's feelings but they were paid to guard the president also and didn't think him taking revenge on the president is the right course of action.
Episode 15
- To hammer home how much of a cruel Mad Scientist he is, Alien Chibull Mabuze's lab has a bunch of experiment kaijus with Moko as the latest addition, which he tortures for petty reasons like interrupting his speech. It's especially bad for fans of Ultraman Mebius, since among the captive creatures is a Lim Eleking.
- Taiga giving Skull Gomora a brutal beatdown can certainly invoke this, especially since Moko's telepathy reveals that Skull Gomora is crying. Taiga's shocked reaction over what he's done after Skull Gomora's death only serves to show how far he's gone.
- Even worse, in a way, Skull Gomora being an artificial clone of Belial makes him somewhat similar to Ultraman Geed, meaning the kaiju that Taiga just brutally tortured and killed was, for all intents and purposes, Geed's brother.
- Hiroyuki, Fuma and Titas can only watch helplessly as Tregear gives Taiga a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown while their friend descends further into darkness. At the end of the fight, Taiga is reduced to an Empty Shell.
- Hearing Tregear goad Taiga shows just how twisted and bitter he's become towards Taro.Tregear: You hear that, Number 6?! The darkness is devouring your son! The son of Ultraman Taro!
Episode 21
- We're introduced to Osamu Tasaki, whose mother was injured in Zetton's attack in Episode 18. Because of this, Kirisaki manipulated him into developing Fantastic Racism towards all aliens and sicced him on an innocent Alien Ghose, who he beats up and electrocutes.
- Just as Pandon was pacified and can leave Earth peacefully with its master, Tregear swoops in and brutally slashes the kaiju to death with his claws.
Others
- The music video Dramatic sung by Daisuke Ono, which is supposed to be accompanied as an ending theme for Ultraman Taiga The Movie. It features Ono and a boy (his son) separated as he remain trapped in a space time continuum and was forced to watch his son growing up alone until the young boy becomes a wheelchair-bounded old man. It was at this moment Ono reunited with his son, but was too late as the old man passed away.
