Tear Jerker / Ultraman Saga

• The opening monologue depicting an empty city, and what little remains of the earth defense force. The eerie quiet and close ups of things like an abandoned stroller and guitar case really drive home how much damage Alien Bat and Hyper Zetton did.
• In the beginning shows 15 year anniversary of Shin Asuka's heroic sacrifice led by the now Commander Hibiki. Ryo and Koda are seen still mourning their fallen friend.
• Alien Bat killing the pacified Gomess and Gubila, simply because Cosmos dared to ruin his "fun". Cosmos is devastated by watching the two monsters he just calmed down getting killed in cold blood in front of him and collapses to his knees in grief.
• When Alien Bat destroys the orphanage/base, Taiga suffers a PTSD-flashback to the day he lost his parents during a kaiju attack. He had desperately cried for Ultraman to come save him and it's implied his cries went unheard. This traumatic event sheds light on his reluctance to be Zero's host.
• After Anna's mecha/plane crashes, Risa desperately tries to revive her while she, Misato, and Sawa calling for her. She flatlines and all seems lost, but Risa still keeps trying. At the same time, the three Ultramen are defeated by Hyper Zetton. In one last pull of hope, the three turn into Ultraman Saga and Anna is miraculously revived.
• Double as Heartwarming, Asuka reuniting briefly with his friends, the former super guts after 15 years to assure them that Taiga is fine. All of them are overjoyed to finally meeting him again, and Ryo promised him that they will follow him soon with Asuka giving them a warm smile before leaving on another journey.
