Space 16 Stinger's Reunion with his Brother
  • Champ's destruction at the hands of Scorpio. He took a fatal blow from the assassin to save Stinger who he once couldn't stand to be near. Even worse Balance and Naga state that even if his body is repaired damage to his memory could mean his personality would be different.

Space 17 Light Up The Dark Dome
  • The team is contacted by Kotaro who is rather enthusiastic regarding the new Kyutama, but his mood drops rapidly when asked about Champ and Stinger. The scene then cuts to Champ, who looks only a bit better than before as he is only partially rebuild yet. Stinger seems to be in even worse shape than at the end of #16, sitting in dark corridor looking like he gave up on everything. Kotaro says that he blames everything on himself.
    • Even before he updates them on their teammates Kotaro is noticeably less excitable and energetic then usual.

Space 18: Emergency Dispatch! Space Hero!
  • The upbeat episode ends with Stinger putting away his Seiza Blaster and dressing up in his old clothes. He is leaving the team, starting a tragic spiral of destruction that will make everything messy.

     Space 20: Stinger Vs. Scorpion
  • Stinger tells his brother about how he blames himself for his fall into villainy. Scorpio simply tells that the brother he knew doesn't exist anymore, breaking his heart for the last time.
  • Stinger's final message for the team. He talks about his plans, asks them to forgive him for the mess he made and wraps this up with saying it was good fighting alonside them.
  • Scorpio manages to turn the people of Earth against the Kyurangers leading to a crowd throwing rocks and insults at the team causing Kotaro to state that he's ashamed to be an Earthling.

Space 21: Farewell Scorpio! The Time of Argo Ship's revival!
  • Scorpio's death scene. All of it. Stinger even looks like he is going to cry at a couple points through it. After everything that happened he wanted his big brother back and just didn't know how to deal with the fact that it's impossible.

Space 25: Planet Toki, the Boy's Determination
  • Everyone of the Kyurangers had a memory illusion serve as some sort of obstacle be it a foe they defeated in the past, a loved one, or something ridiculous as Garu and Raptor had to deal with. Naga's obstacle? Nothing. He didn't have a memory illusion for his key, making him feel despondent that he lacks a heart.
    • Stinger's memory illusion obstacle was Scorpio in his monster form. Poor guy still feels stung by his brother's death.
    • Champ doesn't have to relive the death of Professor Anton... as his memory has just been tainted by The Reveal that Anton was a renegade Jark Matter scientist, and he ends up fighting Anton's Mooks. The use of Fake Shemp for Anton can also indicate how Champ is subliminally trying to repress it.
    • At least those two can put an end to it by reaching the key - Kotaro's memory illusion is his deceased mother, putting him a very difficult spot. He really wants to complete the mission, but doing so will cause his mothers spirit to disappear.
      • The implication that Kotaro's mother didn't have to die if there was a working hospital close by.

Space 26: Dark warrior, Hebitsukai Metal
  • Naga feels inferior because he had not seen anyone at his key in Space 25 and because he lacks the emotions everyone else has.
  • Naga uses his powers to freeze Hammi in order to run off to join Akyanba and she looks close to tears at her friend doing this to her.
  • Balance tries to remain cheery even after being told that Naga is not coming back, having joined Akyanba. Shou tells him he doesn't need to hide his feelings. Balance complies, showing just how sad he is over the loss of his friend.
    • Seeing just how heavily this weighs on everyone. Hammi herself feels responsible as she was the one to suggest to Naga to make his own decisions and not rely on Balance.

     Space 28: BN team, disbanded
  • Balance's emotional turmoil through the episode.
  • Akyanba tells the team that if they want to turn Naga back to normal, they have to hurt him (a lot). Balance finally does it, but it turns out that Akyanba lied and there is nothing they can do for Naga.

Space 30: All Right! The Miraculous Kyutama
  • Orion dies from his wounds without ever meeting his child.

     Space 32: Orion, Forever
  • The Orion, which has been in the show from the first episode sacrifices its life to save the team and the Earth from a colliding monster. As it does it sends one final message to the team. "Good Luck"

Episode 35: The Secret Of The Universe's No. 1 Idol
  • Hammie describes how lost and empty she felt while travelling between planets controlled by Jark Matter on her own before being picked up by the team.

Episode 37: Lucky, Seen Again With His Father
  • Any hope of Lucky reuniting with his father and knock some sense to him is dashed when it is revealed that his father has been dead since the day that Lucky escaped from his birth world and is now replaced by a imposter all those years.

Space 41: Break through! Planet Southern Cross
  • Lucky's team being shown nightmare in an illusion by the MOTW, which causes nearly everyone to suffer.
  • Garu's team got hurt during the fight with the mysterious warrior that is later known as King Aslan, Lucky's Father. To add to that, he strike Garu near to death in front of Lucky and the others.
  • The fact that Lucky's father was being manipulated by Don Armage to do bad deeds.

Space 43: Lucky's Promise On The Holy Night
  • The fact that Lucky's catchphrase could ever be heartwrenching.
    • Lucky reunites with his father, who stays behind to activate the Black Hole Kyutama, saving the universe from the Planetium Bomb.

     Episode Of Stinger
  • The local group kidnapping Mika and apparently planning to murder her in the the end of the vicious chain reaction started by Jark Matter. Only for Mika to free herself and murder them all in way reminescent of how Scorpio has been shown to slaughter his tribe..
  • Champ and Stinger bury the people murdered.
  • Champ and Stinger bury Mika after she died in Stinger's arms.

Space 46: Between Hope and Despair
  • Tsurugi learns his old friend didn't care for him one bit and just wanted to go down in history as somebody who helped to defeat the bad guy.
  • Shou sacrificing himself to save the remaining ten Kyuurangers from a death attack from Don Tsurugi. His body vanishes, so the Kyuurangers have nothing to mourn.

    Space 47: The Saviors' Promise
  • Even though it all works out in the end seeing the Kyurangers, one of the biggest teams in recent memory, be subjected to a Dwindling Party scenario is as terrifying as it is heartrending.
