Daybreak
Chapter 1
- Aida's death, as Feri clearly saw her as an older sister who took care of her even though they're from rival jaeger groups. Enough that when her father ordered her to kill Aida to become a true jaeger, she hesitated until Van intervened and did the deed himself.
Chapter 2
- For somebody as cocky as Aaron, the sight of his friends' corpses is enough to bring him to his knees.
- The reveal that Gien had planned for Aaron to become Taikun. The young man looks absolutely heartbroken knowing that the old man who had been kind to him since he was a kid would use him like this.
Chapter 5
- The destruction of Creil Village. The thought that all of those people, including the children, have been wiped out and will never be seen again is simply gut-wrenching.
- The death of Dingo especially hits hard, as he's been a big help to quite a few people, Van included.
Kuro II
Intermission
- Swin's betraying the heroes to join with Garden-Master. Poor Nadia is left confused and in tears.
