Tear Jerker / The Flight of Dragons

• Smrgol's Heroic Sacrifice to defeat the Ogre of Gormley Keep.
  Carolinus: Old Smrgol. Oh, I shall miss you friend.
• Smrgol and Gorbash were incredibly close, with Smrgol being Gorbash's uncle in all but blood... Smrgol dies before seeing his 'nephew' return to him... and Gorbash is unaware of his uncle's death... And Smrgol, dying away from the dome of Invisibility as he did, is one of the few characters to remain dead. It makes the moment when Gorbash rushes to save Smrgol early on, and Smrgol trying in vain to wake 'Gorbash' after the merging hit all the harder.
• Sir Orin clutches Danielle's dead body before the fight with Bryagh, then has this speech: "Blade with whom I have lived, blade with whom I now die, serve right and justice one last time, seek one last heart of evil, still one last life of pain. Cut well, old friend, and then farewell." He then dies after slaying Bryagh.
  • Thankfully, the two are revived and reunited in the Magic Realm after Peter has defeated Ommadon, turning it straight into Heartwarming.
• In order to save it, Peter must give up all the wonders of magic by denying it.
