The Star, Inverted
- In Holly's chapter, she notices how Jotaro treats her a lot differently after he returns, being far more patient with her doting behavior, checking on her before he leaves for school, and waiting for her to come back when she goes out. Like he's afraid that she'll die if he doesn't keep an eye on her.
- The narrative, in the last chapter, points out that Kujo Jotaro is a 17-year old kid who just spent nearly two months straight trying not to be murdered, had to kill a man twice, and watched over 30 people die in front of him, one of which was his own daughter.
Kitsune-tsuki
- When Hana and Aiko are picked up, Akane welcomes them warmly, gushing about dear little Tenmei and how he's basically the best child a parent could ask for. By the end of the chapter, she's crying in the living room about how she can't understand her own child, knowing that something is wrong and not having the slightest clue what to do about it.
- Tenmei gives Aiko a gacha prize, and she muses that even if he's awkward and weird, he's trying to be nice, and that she could see herself getting along with him. Then she finds out what he does with his 'collection'.
- Kakyoin Akane's growing paranoia about her child's odd behavior, a stance which is unfortunately not out of the norm for religious/spiritual communities.
- When Tenmei joins the Joestar group to fight Dio, his mother believes that she drove him to run away.
- The death of Mr. Kakyoin, Kakyoin Hana's husband and Tenmei's paternal uncle. What makes it sad is the detached, matter-of-fact way the narrator states it."Nothing grand like murder or suicide. It is a simple, slightly sad truth of the world that sometimes people simply die, with no particular rhyme or reason, and that Mr. Kakyoin had been one of those unfortunate few."
And Then They Were Roommates
- The chapter And When You Love Someone, said to take place after Jotaro comes back after the events in Knock, Knock. He turns to Marina and asks her how to love people. Seeing Jolyne's resentment towards him in Eyes of Heaven really hit him hard. He wants to be a better person than the one who raised Jolyne.
- Jotaro dissociates for an entire day on the one year anniversary of Dio's death, in a cruel inversion of the chapter title, But for Me, It Was Tuesday.
- Wes Blumarine. A sickly, mentally fragile man younger than Jotaro himself, restrained in a padded cell after the traumatic awakening of his Stand left him without his memories. This is the man who would grow to become Weather Report.
Well, I Must Have Grown A Little
- A relatively minor one, Avdol can't style his hair the way he used to due to the limitations of his prosthetic hands. After injuries or illnesses, many people aren't merely upset about the obvious ramifications of their condition- it's the little, simple things that a normal person would take for granted, but now are physically unable to take part in, at least by themselves.
- Tenmei's time in the hospital is cold, painful, and uncomfortable, and most of the time he's too physically frail to have an outlet for his discomfort and frustration.
- Polnareff's relative immaturity for his age is a manifestation of his grief over Sherry's passing, unable to really grow beyond or move on from what he went through. Silver Chariot is even described as more resembling Polnareff at the age he was when Sherry died than his adult self.
- Jotaro's infamously rude behavior towards his mother apparently came completely out of left field, a result of how stressed and frightened awakening his Stand had left him."It's not safe, I'm not safe"
- Holly hadn't seen Joseph in ten years by the timeframe of Stardust Crusaders due to the way he distanced himself out of disapproval for her marriage.
irezumi
- This line:"The Star, inverted. The loss of faith, believing one is cursed by the world. He has not failed. Perhaps one day, he will believe it."
Demolition Man
- It's been about ten years since, and having to deal with or even think about anything associated with the events from Eyes of Heaven still clearly distresses Jotaro.
- Joseph's Internal Reveal about Josuke being his illegitimate child is thrown by Jotaro's knowledge of future events making him already aware of Josuke. All along, Jotaro had been suspicious of Josuke's ancestry but deliberately chose not to speculate further, hoping he was wrong. Joseph quickly catches on to the situation he's put his grandson in, and it's a bitter pill indeed.
- After he and Jotaro defeat Aqua Necklace, Josuke realizes he still hasn't told his mother anything. He doesn't know how to breach the subject of the Joestars to her, knowing full well that his mother still loves Joseph.
- Jotaro and Okuyasu's first meeting, before the Bait-and-Switch. Jotaro- tall, physically imposing, and fully capable of stopping The Hand in its tracks- looms over Okuyasu, reaching a hand towards him, and suddenly Okuyasu can't move. Recall that Okuyasu was abused as a child.
- Tenmei mentions how they were trying to find information on the identity of Shizuka, the invisible baby. Given the file in Welcome To The SPW Foundation, they won't find Shizuka's parents.
- After confirming that a Stand user serial killer is active in town, Jotaro immediately sends Jolyne home. She's beside herself with angry tears, only understanding that her dad is leaving her behind again. Even though she doesn't seem to resent Jotaro for his absences like in the original timeline, they still upset her. Her angry pleading is very uncomfortable to read. Jotaro, for his part, is scared for her life.Jotaro: "If you got hurt I'd never be able to forgive myself".
- During the first fight with Kira, Jotaro had thought Koichi was dead on the street.
- Throughout Jotaro's fight with Kira, he was very clearly going through a PTSD-related episode, losing more and more grip on reality until he finally faints from his injuries.
Magic Trick
- When Jolyne overloads Jotaro's head with Hamon, his last thought before passing out is that he hears his mother's voice.
Welcome To The SPW Foundation
- Stand users can become asocial towards normal humans after the infection fully takes this course, having a diminished capacity to empathize or relate to them. This includes their own family.
- 'Wes' aka Weather Report, lives in maximum security containment, monitored at all times, and will most likely never be released from containment. The Foundation is taking far more precautions this time around.
- Okuyasu's witness statement about his brother's activities and the Stand Arrow. When their father got his new job, he took Keicho and Okuyasu to the park to celebrate. His two kids thought that their father was about to kill or abandon them.
