The Star, Inverted

  • In the new timeline, Caesar was basically Holly's second dad. When Joseph goes to Egypt, Caesar goes to Japan to be with his daughter.
  • Caesar is revealed to have been part of Jotaro's life growing up, being there when Joseph wouldn't, making an effort to bond with the stoic child. If only Jotaro was able to remember any of it.
  • While Tenmei was in the hospital, Jotaro would send him drawings to color, eventually evolving into a full art exchange. This continues even Tenmei returns home, and when they go to college. Considering their Relationship Upgrade less than a year later in Knock, Knock, one could see the drawings as their own form of love letters.
  • Kujo Sadao hears his wife is ill, and drops everything right away to be with her. He turns out to be a tried and true Nice Guy, crying Tender Tears once he realizes how out of depth he is, but still remaining observant and thoughtful. He's mentioned spending a lot of time by his wife's side, keeping her favorite songs playing.
  • Caesar has some words for Jotaro after he come clean about the time reset.
"You have not failed your family. You have saved them forever."

And Then They Were Roommates

  • Jotaro's name and accent out him as a Foreign Exchange Student, and he spends his first day of college being hounded by people trying to guess where he's from, whether to flirt with him, poke at his blatant outsider qualities, or see if he can be used for status. Then there's his roommate, Marina Cugino, polite and earnest, asking how he says his name, making an effort to learn to address him correctly. When she asks where he's from with genuine interest, he freely answers.
  • The Class Cryptid club, when trying to gather 'evidence' of Jotaro being possessed, catch on to his Shell-Shocked Veteran behavior and Friendless Background, becoming legitimately concerned for his well-being, discussing how they should best intervene. They decide to invite him into their study group to get to know him, so that they can learn more and figure out how to actually help him.
  • In a roundabout way, Hol Horse breaking into Jotaro's apartment because he knows it will give Polnareff a good excuse to visit.
  • Jotaro asks Marina for advice on 'how to love people'. Why? Because he knows how he comes across naturally, and doesn't want that to get in the way of letting the people in his life know he loves them. Reminder that this chapter is noted to take place after Knock, Knock, where Jotaro and Tenmei come to terms with their feelings for each other.
    • The fact Marina and Jotaro are comfortable enough around each other that they can have this kind of conversation.
    • Marina assuring him that there's not any one way to love somebody, and that he and the people he cares about can figure out their 'language' together.
  • Jotaro and Tenmei falling asleep holding each other's hand.
  • Jotaro, using the memory of a few offhand comments made by the original Weather Report, is able to point the SPW foundation in the right direction to find Wes Blumarine, the man who would eventually become Weather Report, and get him the proper help and care he needs.

Well, I Must Have Grown A Little

  • Polnareff kept Avdol's tarot set after his supposed death.
  • The Mount Fuji card Jotaro sent during The Star, Inverted had cranes on it. In Japan, paper cranes are sent to friends and loved ones in the hospital to wish for their recovery. Perhaps feeling inspired, Hierophant Green drapes itself into wreaths on the ceiling in an attempt to emulate senbaruzu(crane wreaths).
  • Jotaro's squid metaphor verges on Compliment Backfire until he goes on to mention his admiration for the intelligence and tenacity of such creatures. Through the lens of his interests, he's pointing out the qualities he sees and admires in Tenmei.
  • Holly using her Stand as an extension of expressing of how much she loves her friends and family.
    • Her Stand even gives her the strength to lift Jotaro when she hugs him, which surprises him so much that he laughs.
  • Polnareff is given better prosthetic legs and regains Silver Chariot after surviving the events of Vento Aureo. Avdol looks close to tears when he sees his friend standing under his own power again.

Demolition Man

  • Joseph has now spent enough time with Jotaro to actually be able to consistently read his expressions.
  • The stern, but gentle way that Jotaro interacts with Jolyne. In this timeline, he's clearly taking the time to raise her like he should.
  • In Josuke's introduction, where he lets the delinquents walk all over him, it's because he's trying to keep their attention off Jolyne.
  • Okuyasu worries he won't have enough funds to finish high school, Jotaro has this to say.
Jotaro: You look at me, Nijimura Okuyasu. You are going to go to school, and you're going to walk home with your friends every day. And you will have a home, and your dad will too, and you're going to eat all the foods you need and have all the stuff you're supposed to. And if you want to go to university, you'll do that too. You're going to live your life.
    Okuyasu: How? How can I?
Jotaro: Because I'll make it happen.

  • The chapter right after Jotaro's promise to Okuyasu, the teen is mentioned wearing less delinquent clothes and looking more cared for. Looks like the older Stand user is rubbing off on Okuyasu already.

  • The last lines from The Fox, when Tenmei arrives in Morioh.
    Jotaro: ...I missed you.
Tenmei: I missed you too, Jojo.

  • Caesar doesn't hold any ill will towards Josuke, glad that the kid exists even if it's the result of Joseph's affair.
  • Jotaro, Tenmei, Caesar, and Joseph have all been taking care of the invisible baby, Shizuka, together. She seems pretty happy, being completely comfortable around Hierophant Green, even.
  • Jolyne has to be sent home when the situation in Morioh becomes too dangerous. She leaves behind her knitted Beluga doll, asking him to come home to give it back.

Welcome To The SPW Foundation

  • Speedwagon dedicated his life to helping Jonathan and the Joestar family. In return, Jonathan now dedicates his life to the organization his dear friend built.
This is the will of Robert E. O. Speedwagon. This is the will of the foundation.

  • In Boingo's last scene in Stardust Crusaders, he has a change of heart, voicing a new desire to use his power to help others. In this series, he made good on his promise, growing up to become a member of the Foundation.
    • On a similar note, Hayato from Diamond Is Unbreakable also grew up to lend his skills to the Foundation.

  • Okuyasu, Emporio, Foo Fighters, and Weather Report are officially considered adopted members of the Joestar family, with Rikiel also being considered for membership.

  • After Keicho's death, the Foundation needs to collect a statement from Okuyasu about his activities. Tenmei conducts the interview very gently, reminding him he can stop whenever he likes, and Josuke is there as well to offer him emotional support. Considering what he's been through, it's no less than Okuyasu deserves.
