- Walter and Lance's argument about using violent vs. non-violent methods of taking out Killian, as Walter wants to only be non-lethal due to his mother getting killed on duty as a cop, while Lance wants Killian to suffer due to the multiple associates he's lost over the years to enemies.Lance: Evil doesn't care that you're nice. I watch good people be taken every day. But you wouldn't know nothing about that.
Walter: [to himself] You'd be surprised... - Killian's Motive Rant to Lance, where he reveals that he was the only survivor of an attack from Lance that killed all the rest of his people. He quietly states that "Lance took everything from him" in a quiet, wounded voice.Killian: Aww... He remembers! I mean, I certainly never forgot that day. You were magnificent! You were a One-Man Army! Lot of witty catchphrases. And you had all these fancy toys that just went BOOM! Boom. [disables his mask to reveal his robotic parts] Boom...
Lance: [momentarily taken aback] You... were a bunch of bad dudes about to hurt a lot of innocent people. And it's my job to keep everyone safe.
Killian: Everyone? [scoffs] I watched every single... one of my people DIE as your agency's weapons rained down on us...- Later on, he brings in his version of Laser-Guided Karma by blowing up the submarine Walter is on. Though Walter survived, Lance's shocked, heartbroken attitude afterwards is painful to see.
- Killian's eye going from red to blue after he hears the agents point out Walter saved him. The look of his face speaks of clear regret.
