- Remember that Funny Moment when Captain America admits that he doesn't know why Uatu does what he does, and that nobody's ever stopped to ask? A few pages later, we learn just why Uatu watches everything - his father's attempts to help a less advanced race resulted in that race wiping themselves out, and lead to the Watcher's non-interference rule. Uatu watches the entire multiverse in hopes of finding a universe where his father was right - with no success.
- When Nova learns why Uatu's doing this, he offers his own awkward support, noting that he wanted his father (who he basically dismissed as a nutcase while growing up before he learned that the man actually was a member of the Nova Corps) to be right as well.
