• After being told about Shinya Hashimoto's death, Ogawa reacted with absolute disbelief and actually intended to rush to Hashimoto's death to find somebody to tell him that it was all just a cruel joke. He later said that despite having built his own career over Shinya's, he enjoyed more his partnership with him than all his individual trajectory, and swore that the rest of it would be dedicated to the memory of his friend.
• Years after, Ogawa revealed he didn't want to involve again with Pro Wrestling ZERO1 or its mother company First On Stage because he believed they had driven Hashimoto to over-train to his death.
