Poor Marble...
- Seeing Marble Pie's heartbroken reaction to Big Mac and Sugar Belle kissing can be an emotional punch-in-the-gut given how it contrasts the rest of the opening song's overall cheerfulness and it isn't followed up at all in the rest of the special... or the series.
- While they're as selfish and greedy as ever, it's still a little sad that Flim and Flam couldn't find something to be happy about by the end of the special.
- Pistachio thinking of himself as "some nopony" from "nowhere, Equestria".
- Discord appears to be genuinely sad about not being included in the Hearth's Warming celebrations. It seems being left out is still painful for him.
