  • Noah's death. Particularly how anticlimactic, unsatisfying and irreverent it was. It was like Kreuger was putting down a stray dog. No remorse, no Worthy Opponent style acknowledgement... nothing. Perhaps even worse is the fact that Faith never got to say goodbye to him, either. He was already gone before she got in the room, and indeed, he probably didn't even know she was there to save him before he died. All she could do once she got there was beg him to wake up and then cry next to his corpse. In most media, the dying character at least has time to say a few encouraging words to their loved ones and maybe get a few in return before they move on. No such luck here... You didn't deserve to go out like that, Noah.
    • It really felt like the writers just needed to fulfil the Mentor Occupational Hazard trope to have a complete story.
      • You also don't get any final words, flashback, or drama scene. A pull of the trigger and you're snuffed out. Keeping this in mind helps the scene really, really work better and goes to highlight how harsh the setting is.
  • Faith's breakdown after Noah's death and finding out stopping Reflection means ascending the Shard.
  • Isabel/Caitlyn angrily chewing out Faith for apparently abandoning her during the November Riots. Despite the overall attitude most likely arising from Kruger's brainwashing, it's hard to listen to her on the verge of tears.
  • The fact that Faith had to watch her parents get beaten up and shot right in front of her. This would be bad enough if it happened to an adult, but she was a child when this happened. What kind of effect must that have had on her psyche?
    • Add in having to abandon her sister, due to said sister collapsing from exposure to Tear Gas. What's trauma without a steaming pile of guilt on top?
      • Oh, but the November Riots weren't done with her yet. Faith shot a friendly KrugerSec out of fear during the Riots. Even worse if this was Gabriel Kruger's son, which is entirely possible, since it would mean she was the reason for his Freudian Excuse and indirectly responsible for the whole plot of the game.
