Everything's so hard for Toki, indeed...
  • Magnus reflects on his life with Dethklok, before he was kicked out.
    • Toki still calls Magnus his friend in one of the opening songs. Kind of goes to show you Toki can't see a difference in the way people mistreat him and friendship or even family. Which might make sense given how the band normally treats him, and his childhood.
  • Abigail's Lullaby. Not even the Lyrical Dissonance joke could ruin how damn beautiful this is.
  • I Believe, a song about Toki celebrating his new life and family with Dethklok, and things are only on the up and up... then cut to a shot of Toki beaten up and half-comatose in Magnus's prison at the very end, knowing that Dethklok is not making an effort to save him and refuse to call him their brother when that is the only thing keeping Toki afloat in that hell.
    • If you listen to the band's parts in the lyrics, it's hard not to at least wince a little. While Toki's singing about finally finding a family and a home, the guys only sing about how much money and fame they're getting now that Toki is in the band.
    • Fridge Horror settles in when you also take into account that it's heavily implied that Charles has a sixth sense that can tell when the band is in danger, meaning it's entirely possible he's able to feel the physical and psychological pain Toki is experiencing at the hands of the Revengencers.
  • Do It All For My Brother is as beautiful as it is sorrowful. Edgar admonishes Dethklok for their cold indifference towards Toki that they're not even willing to refer to him as a "brother", before singing about how much he misses his own. Then culminating in a heartfelt duet between Edgar and his deceased brother, about how they'll do anything for the other.
  • Before You Go: Offdensen leaves the band, presumably for real this time due to how he can't follow the terms of his contract to protect the band while the Prophecy is in effect (also his pact with the Church, but never mind that), especially when combined with an earlier scene where he laments how he "failed the band" which has an underlying existential crisis to it (as if the Toki and Abigail incident is the catalyst for him regretting his entire life choices). Made even worse by the fact that by nature of him being a Distressed Dude for the special Toki Never Got to Say Goodbye (and aren't even reunited in Army of the Doomstar).
  • Despite its rather cheerful animation and lyrics, Partying Around The World will hit you right in the gut. The lyrics tell about Dethklok's way of dealing with their grief over witnessing Toki and Abigail's kidnapping by the Revengencers. Their friends' absences hurts them so much that they completely deny Toki and Abigail ever existed, and they constantly hold parties just to keep themselves occupied.
