Tearjerking KISS moments.
- Eric Carr's death. One of the nicest rock stars ever, who went out of his way to be connected to his fans as much as possible. Meaning he would sign anything given to him and befriend fans easily. He died from heart cancer of all things. A cancer so rare that the Mayo Clinic claims that on average, only one case is diagnosed per year.
- The song "God Gave Rock 'n' Roll To You II", which was basically one big tribute to Carr. While he was too ill to perform drums on the song (though filmed footage for the video), he sang the acapella interlude with Paul Stanley.
- The day Eric died would have been even more tragic for those who were also fans of Queen as it was the same day that Freddie Mercury died.
- "Reason To Live" from 1987's Crazy Nights. A powerful power ballad and one of the best post-breakup songs ever written. The song basically tells the listener that their love life shouldn't define who they are as a human being.
- "Detroit Rock City" may be a loving tribute to a fan, but it's still a sad chronicle of the fan's unfortunate death.
- "Beth" is a tender ballad, but it's about not being able to spend time with a loved one for long stretches of time because of having to tour the country.
