Natasha's backstory and death is extremely tragic. From childhood she was forced into a life of killing and only received praise when she successfully completed a mission. As her body count racked up and the praise grew less and less frequent, Natasha sought out more killing, unaware that what she really just wanted companionship. When Rita kills her, she feels genuine empathy for her and her situation, being in the same boat herself for much of her life. Natasha, realizing what her true desires were in her last moments, imagines a life where she could have turned over a new leaf and joined the others in the kindergarten but, in the end, it wasn't meant to be.
Luke's death. After the traumatic deaths of Tina and Oliver, Luke was consumed by his survivor's guilt and self-loathing, desiring to die to go to Hell where he believes he belongs. Tragically, it's only once he found something to live for that he loses his life protecting the other teachers from Aoba.
