- Ludovico Einaudis "Una mattina", especially in the scene at the very end.
- The scene when Philippe leaves the restaurant seconds before Eléonore enters the restaurant can be extremely tearjerking. Especially when you see how happy Eléonore seemed to finally meet him.
- Also the fact that Philippe is extreme anxious about that she wouldn't like him because of his disability.
- After his time in prison, Driss shows up at his aunt's place. After a short fight his aunt sends him away telling him that she never wants to see him again, thinking that she should give him up and that he might be a bad influence on her other children. You can see that it's extremely hard for her though.
- Philippe telling Driss about his deceased wife: "My real disability isn't my wheelchair, but her loss".
