Tear Jerker / Freefall

• A Fridge tearjerker: Dr. Bowman is the last genetically-enhanced chimpanzee, and he says that no others of his kind made it past 40 years old. He himself is apparently well over 100, which means he's been The Last of His Kind for most of his life.
  • Arguably a bigger one is that he seems perfectly fine with this state of affairs and likely wouldn't want it any other way. Given what the other chimps were implied to be like, directly and indirectly, it's hard to fault his logic.
