Tracy Bond. Never forgotten.
- Bond visits the grave of his dead wife, Tracy, with flowers in the pre-titles sequence.
- The title song by Sheena Easton is very soft on Bond standards and has some sad lyrics:"For your eyes only, only for you, see, that no one else could see"
- Melina Havelock losing both of her parents a mere minute after arriving for a long-overdue visit with gifts for them. She also poignantly cradles the now-blood stained dress she just offered to her mother, before looking at the distance with nothing but revenge in her eyes.
- Bond finds Luigi Ferrara dead in his car. He reminds Locque of it before kicking Locque's car off the cliff.
- The death of Lisl, and Columbo expressing the love he had for her afterwards.
