Tear Jerker / Conan the Destroyer

• The Queen of Shadizar, offering the resurrection of Valeria as a reward for Conan. Later, Conan bitterly acknowledges it was "a lie".
• At the end of the film, Jehnna offers Conan a place at her side as King. Conan gently refuses before departing for further adventures, saying, "I will have my own kingdom, my own queen." Look at Jehnna: she nods, but she looks crushed.
• Before the credits, the wizard narrates to us that Conan eventually did build his own kingdom after many adventures, but "wore his crown upon a troubled brow". The last we see of Conan is him sitting pensive and alone on his throne, implying he never stopped mourning Valeria.
