• Kate's Disney Death was this to the other wolves and some of the audience. Humphrey's reaction in particular: He begs her to wake up, then plaintively whispers "I love you."
• The absolutely heartbroken looks on Humphrey, Garth, and Lilly's faces when it seems the wedding must go on also come to mind.
• Daria's backstory in The Legend of the Saw Tooth Cave is really depressing. She was born blind, and was then targeted by the Head Wolf, who tried to kill her after deeming her useless. Her mother defied the Head Wolf and the apparent "pack ways" when she rescued Daria. However, she was forced to hide Daria away in Shadow Forest, and was killed by the Head Wolf.
