Sparks of Light
is a tabletop RPG by Twisted Die Productions.
In the vast panorama of Good versus Evil, some heroes shine brighter than any other. They are the Sparks, young Magical Girls who protect the Light. Vibrantly garbed, flanked by noble yomi that embody nature itself, they purify the Dark and foil its evil schemes.
In such a war, there is infinite room for adventure.
This game includes the following tropes:
- Ripple-Effect-Proof Memory: A bonus of having Bonds is that the identity of the Spark they belong to persists through all of the Dark's reality-warping.
- Sugar Bowl: The game is strongly idealist, unlike its spiritual predecessors.
- Wild Card: Most yomi do not particularly care for light or dark. As long as the corner of nature that gives them life is undisturbed, they will default to neutrality, peacefully living out their immortal lives. note More driven yomi can become Mentor Mascots, Mooks, apocalyptic Eldritch Abominations, or Bond Creatures.
