The inverse of Pet-Peeve Trope, the Favorite Trope is a trope which we love and like to see used in stories, one whose qualities and uses we generally appreciate, or admire as either an Acceptable Break From Reality or an example of Shown Their Work.
If these tropes become beloved enough that authors and audiences alike practically never get tired of their frequent use, they have huge potential to become Omnipresent Tropes, Universal Tropes, Overdosed Tropes, or even Tropes of Legend. See also Most Triumphant Example.
