• A joke name submitted to be in the running for Student Council President is Seymour Butts.
• Maria tries to turn into a magical girl by yelling out "Moon Prism Power, Make Up!"
• Maria's Pink Cat Maid costume is a pink maid uniform with a cat's face embroidered on the front of the apron. This description is very similar to Bee's cafe uniform from the pilot episode of Bee and Puppycat .
• Yuki's Shadow Tag skill is lifted in name, effect, and flavor pretty much directly from Pokémon. The only actual difference is that it's a technique she actively uses rather than a passive ability.
• The school teacher couple of Home Ec teacher Chef Elliott and History Teacher Jack Harkness. Not expies, the actual characters.
• Rosa's method of summoning her crystal spikes is reminiscent of earthbending.
• Rosa pulling Heart of the Rose out of her chest is meant as an homage to Revolutionary Girl Utena.
• Savarian's physical appearance, both with and without the armor, is a clear nod to a certain sword wielding female from Fate/stay night. The personalities do not match, but then this is not Savarian's proper body, so one can assume that the original Silver Defender's personality was a lot closer.
