Shout Out / Uncharted: Drake's Fortune

• Some shout outs to the Jak and Daxter games:
  • The brand name on the wet suits Nate and Elena wear at the beginning of the game reads "Ottsel" (i.e. Daxter's species).
  • One of the treasures you can find is the Strange Relic, which is actually a Precursor Orb. What's notable about this treasure is that it's not officially included in the treasure count, and collecting it adds to a total of 61 out of 60 treasures.
• Some of the crates look like the regular crates from Crash Bandicoot.
• Also, check out the back of the Gold (and Silver) Ingot treasures. There's a small paw print on them— Naughty Dog's logo.
• Hard to spot, but Sully's boat in the opening is called Sullivan's Travels.
• The game is about traversing ruins of colonial and prehispanic locales from around The Golden Age of Piracy in search of a legendary treasure. The sequence towards the end, in which the protagonist suddenly and unexpectedly runs into a more modern, 20th century facility filled with underground tunnels in which he must flee from supernatural bad guys while solving puzzles, and eventually learns about the treasure's true nature, is very reminiscent of the finale of Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge.
