Oh, Crap! indeed, Nate.
- You know how the description describes Uncharted as Tomb Raider meets Gears of War? Well, near the end of the game you can throw Resident Evil (or, better yet, Nazi Zombies) into the mix, as you need to contend with fast, deadly mutants in a long-abandoned Nazi base.
- The way the dead man in the submarine is framed in the background, and the way the light hitting his eyes almost makes him look like a zombie himself is downright disturbing.
- For much of the game, water is harmless. But near the very end, if you fall in water, you see a brief cutscene of Nate treading water before a Descendant swims out of the depths, grabs him, and pulls him under.
- Where did the Descendants come from? It turns out El Dorado was cursed in a way. It contained a mummy that was contaminated with an airborne virus! It was these creatures that killed Sir Francis Drake. And the Descendants are the result of the mutated Spaniard colonists inbreeding with each other for centuries! And when the Nazis took El Dorado, they too became infected and tore each other apart. And Navarro was planning on selling El Dorado as a bioweapon!Sully: (hearing howls approaching) What the hell is that?!
Nate: It's the Spaniards, Sully! They never left!
