• Hinako's "Alien Harem" includes a Twi'lek and Torguta.
• Arashi's method of subduing the speeding Ford Mustang by leaning close to the road and firing his shotgun is clearly inspired by Ethan Hunt from Mission Impossible III.
• In Episode 3, "Midnight Guerilla", the camera pans past a sign advertising Joestar's Caffee & Restaurant, a reference to the family of protagonists from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.
