    Season 1
    Season 2
  • "Droopyland" is an obvious parody of Disneyland.
  • In "Haunted Droopy", McWolf dives into the horde of coins and spits them out Scrooge McDuck style.
  • The titular character of "Cleocatra" is based off the real-life Cleopatra.
  • The titular character of "Zorrito", who is actually Jerry, is a parody of Zorro.
    Season 3
  • "Double 'O' Droopy" is one huge homage to the James Bond films.
    • The title is based off the famous code number 007.
    • A Bond Gun Barrel happens in the beginning of the short, except that instead of shooting at the villain, Droopy places his finger inside the barrel, causing an explosion that leaves McWolf in the dust
    • McWolf is called Pearlfinger McWolf in this short.
  • "Toliver's Twist" is obviously based on Oliver Twist.
  • "Twelve Angry Sheep" is a parody of 12 Angry Men.
  • "It's the Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad, Dr. McWolf" also contains numerous references to 80's and 90's pop culture. Not only is the title a shout-out to It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, but the celebrities he transforms into range from Elvis Presley to Michael Jackson.
    Season 4
    Multiple
  • There are a couple of references to Star Trek:
    • The entire short, "Star Wrek", is a homage to the series.
  • Dances with Wolves is referenced several times in the show.
    • In "Stunt Cat", the movie that Tom is going to be in, alongside Kevin Castner, is called Dancing with Dingbats.
    • While Droopy, Dripple, and McWolf are chasing each other in "Droop and Deliver", during the ballet scene, we get this line:
Droopy: Just call me "Dances with McWolves."
  • The Ahnold: A couple of examples include the Eradicator from "Eradicator Droopy" and the Exterminator from "It's the Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad, Dr. McWolf".
  • Dr. Fakenstein: As McWolfenstein in the three shorts he is featured in.
