Founded in 1996, JAST is a publisher, translator, and localizer of Visual Novels, specializing in bringing Japanese games to English markets. The organization was founded by Peter Payne, and is headquartered in San Diego, California, USA. The company's Brands include Peach Princess, G-Collections, JAST BLUE, and JAST USA; however, the Japanese JAST branch closed in 2000, and in 2015, all brands were folded back into the parent company as JAST USA.
These days, JAST operates a web store, selling mostly visual novels, including all the ones that they publish as well as some from other publishers. It sells some SFW and some NSFW stuff, and all its products are sold in a DRM-free format.
