Yes, even a show like Space Goofs can have references to other shows.

  • Below are some examples to Oggy and the Cockroaches:
    • In "Venus Junior", believed to be their first televised appearance, the cockroaches and Oggy are seen on the aliens' TV. This is a clip from the original pilot.
    • "Doodle" has Oggy drawn by what could be the doodled kid on a paper swiped by Gorgious.
    • "Madame Zelza" also has Oggy, albeit in a page of Etno's book.
    • For the episodic "Stupid Invaders", Bud rides a rocking cat that looks like Oggy.
    • In "Space Sailors", when Etno complains about various critters wandering in the house after a bunch of hippies came in and also filled the attic with water, the cockroaches pass by, driving a boat. Their usual Leitmotif is also played in the background.
  • Another example: In "Buffalo Blues", one of Bud's transformations is Razmo from another Xilam show: Ratz.
  • In "Manga Mania", when an obnoxious manga character named Panda Manga moves in and refuses to leave, they disguise themselves as European comic book characters to scare him off. Specifically, Tintin, Obelix, Lucky Luke and Papa Smurf.
  • In "Toon In, Drop Out":
    • Foxy and Ducky are a reference to the chase cartoons of The Golden Age of Animation, more particularly Looney Tunes. Ducky is mix between Daffy Duck (the screwball version) and the Roadrunner, while Foxy is an Expy of Wile E. Coyote.
    • In one scene, Bud sugests to "bring the hunter" in order to stop Foxy and Ducky, and Gorgious and Candy transform themselves into Elmer Fudd-like hunters (Candy even exclaims "That's All Folks") ready to shoot Foxy and Ducky, only to get tricked by them into a Duck Season, Rabbit Season-esque situation, and get shot by Foxy and Ducky. After seeing Gorgious and Candy returning in Ashface, Bud suddendly remembers that the hunter always loses.
