In general

• Several of the aliens' disguises are this, along with the multiple in-between transformations through the SMTV montages.

Season 1

• In "Once Upon a Time", after crash-landing on Earth, the aliens send Candy out from the spaceship to test the atmosphere to make sure it isn't toxic. A neurotic Candy is left outside holding his breath, as the other aliens wait, convinced he won't be able to hold it for too long. An annoyed Gorgious eventually gets hungry and nonchalantly steps out of the spaceship himself, before gleefully eyeing some tires to eat. During all of this, Candy is still left holding his breath, and as Gorgious goes back to enjoy the "buffet", the other aliens eventually realize what's going on and give an Aside Glance to the audience.
  • The government agents’ failed attempts at capturing the gang. It all culminates with the first of Etno’s many failures at building a new rocket flying all over the place like a missile before ramming through their truck and sending them and their bosses into orbit. And the entire time, the group is completely unaware they’re being hunted. At the end, Gorgious orders pizza for the second time, and the truck, still in orbit, picks up the phone call!
• In "One Minor Technicality", Etno attempts to retrieve a missing part from a destructive neighboring boy by disguising himself as a Kids' Show Mascot Parody. He even attempts to break into song, until the boy responds by running him over with a car. Given that he's a young kid, it makes it all the more hilarious.
  Boy: I hate Poopy the Bear!
  Etno: (squashed) Can't say I like you either, kid...!
  • Moments later, the kid attempts to run over the part, much to Candy's horror.
• In "Clowning Around", Stereo gets scared when they see the clowns removing their makeup. The fact that they mistake them for actually humans makes this funny, but it can also borderline on Nightmare Fuel or Nightmare Retardant, given how Stereo thinks they've "ripped off their faces".
• This exchange of dialogue innuendo at the beginning of "Toy Trouble", when the aliens get mad at Candy for interrupting a sports game they were watching, by using the power for his vacuum cleaner:
  Gorgious: Why don't you go and do some gardening, hmm? (grins smugly) Go tend to your melons...
  Etno: (also grinning smugly) Yes, you wouldn't want anything nasty to happen to your melons, would you?
  (The game on TV switches back on, and the aliens, minus Candy, rush back to watch it)
  Candy: (annoyed, under his breath) Humans and balls, go figure...
• In "Snoutra", Gorgious becomes furious over Candy's obsession with playing his crooner record, causing him to keep losing his game of checkers with Stereo. He attempts to try Stereo's idea of using the checkers as earplugs to block out the noise, but they pop out. In his fury, he takes Stereo's noses and plugs them into his ears, which he hilariously finds to be much better.
  • It gets even funnier in the French version, when Gorgious tells Stereo that they make "great noise canceling headphones".
• In "Sweet Tooth Blues", the aliens attempt to discard all the sweets in the house, after Gorgious, having been on a sugar-eating diet, has a nightmare about betting his teeth in exchange for goodies. This culminates him being driven to utter madness, causing him to break open Bud's chocolate bunny from a chest and ride it like a horse. The aliens, shocked by this, lock Gorgious in the bathroom to drown out his sugar obsession. After several days, his friends find him in a very eerie hippie/zen-like state of mind:
  Gorgious: Well, my friends, thank you all. Thanks to you, I've completely kicked the sugar habit. Brothers... I have found the path. I am you. You are me. We are one... one with the universe. I have discovered the miracle... of love.... (hums the "ommm" mantra)
  • The funniest part is that in the English version, that last line of dialogue is performed by Danny Mann, who would later taking over voicing Gorgious for the remainder of the series, replacing Michael Sicoly, who voiced him in the first half of season 1, as well as this episode. Even though this would happen in a few other episodes before this change, it actually becomes hilarious in the context of this episode. Judging by the reactions of the other aliens, one might see it as Gorgious was snapped out of his habit so hard, it caused him to change voices.

Season 2

• In general, the show's shift to being Denser and Wackier definitely reflects this.
• In "Musical Chairs", Etno tries to contact and get help from other planets by using a satellite. Gorgious tells him it won't work, and complains that even with a satellite, they can't even get pizza delivered. Later, at the end, after yet another episodic failed attempt, Candy despairingly tries to use the satellite, when he actually ends up contacting a pizza joint. What does he do? Order a large cheese pizza with anchovies.

Stupid Invaders - Video Game

• Honestly, the entire game is quite a trip, although there are some moments that can be missed out on if you advance too far into the game. The general advice is to SAVE OFTEN just in case what you're interacting with is lethal.
• Speaking of lethality, the game has a lot more Black Comedy that seriously Crosses the Line Twice.
• The unique game overs you can get by doing something stupid, like opening the wrong door, pushing a wrong button, or trying to interact with a hostile character.
  • Since it's a point and click interacting with some things yields... interesting results, such as a recurring gag with a plush bear that has a mallet - you just get whacked for opening random closets from time to time.
• Every place the aliens leave explodes for one reason or another, although it's mostly due to the various adventure game puzzles you "solve" that usually sets it off. Yes, this the House, a Factory and also includes the Earth itself.
• Some of the Candy Gender gags where the he/she nature of an alien is played for laughs, so long as you're okay with the 2000's era gender gags - examples include Candy almost ALWAYS ending up in another man's bed for one reason or another in EVERY chapter she's playable, as well as thinking the Area 52 scientists will give her the body she always wanted.

—- ACT 1 - The House ——

• You play as Bud for the majority of the House, and his default interaction with most things sets the tone since, unlike most adventure game protagonists, Bud is LITERALLY picking up pretty much anything in the hopes it's what he's looking for or could be useful.
• There are lots of little gags in the House itself you can find, with the first one that lets you know what you're in for being the two brands of toilet paper you can choose to examine, although the best one is the "Breadfish" trophy - it's literally just a piece of bread with eyes suck on it.
• One of the very first things Bud can do is use the toilet leading to this line:
  Bud: That sound reminds me of my mom's baptism.
• The sheer amount of punishment Bolok takes trying to come after Bud. He gets caught in a giant mousetrap and becomes comically twisted, eventually flung out the house with elastic underwear and crushed, and he still comes back for more.
  • Not to mention his Game Overs are the best, since you can game over right at the start by opening the toilet door, but he also makes a Your Mom joke if you approach another door in the house... and this scene has a different alt ending if you put the mousetrap down AND THEN open the door. Not to mention there are two separate ambush scenes for if you go into the Spaceship Room and go past the cupboard.
• A big deal is made by Etno about getting some life-changing research that was inspired by humans for their planet; according to him, he's spent years writing his dissertation on humanity. What IS the research when you eventually get into the vault? It's a portable Fruit Expander. it's never brought up again after this, either.
• For some reason, Santa Claus is stuck in the chimney begging for help. The solution? Melt him into a puddle of green goop.

—-Act 2 - The Factory——

• Honestly, the entire Factory Level is full of crass humour which is either this or squick, since the mission is literally "Collect some Crap". It even starts with Candy saying "but where are we going to find cow crap at this hour?" and gets progressively more absurd from there.
• Gorgeous almost instantly getting over Candy being eaten by a radioactive monster. Also, when you interact with an object that has no relevance as an item, he eats it.
• The exploding chickens. When the BIG one shows up, they even play stock footage of a nuke going off while Gorgeous causes it to explode. He's also inexplicably in a bunker while this is going on.
• Candy goes left at a junction because she leans to the left. She promptly gets stuck inside someone creep's bachelor pad - her Oh, Crap! facial reaction to this is what sells this - who goes on to film Candy doing a bunch of poses.
• Try touching the Mallet inside the museum without the proper precautions. Someone apparently really liked this dung mallet, since they rigged a gatling gun to shoot the would-be thief... then a shotgun trap.
• Honestly, the entire water tank area is full of these, since if you mess with the submarine controls you either sink the entire thing, or flood the factory by breaking the glass. Also, there is a diver and his treasure who both threaten to blow your head off if you touch the other.
  • The fish you get from the yellow submarine is a miniature meme in and of itself.
• And of course, there's what happens when you press random buttons in the elevator: one button sends you hurtling out the Factory. Another sends you straight into space, with a passing plane commenting on it. And since the walkway you reach via the right button falls away after going there, you can try stepping out the elevator when you already know the floor is gone.
• Just the fact that the cow you get from Gorgious' section, which hasn't said a word all this time to him, immediately starts complaining in a posh accent the moment Candy comes into the room. Bonus points: fulfilling the Cow's request to heat up some food is the main reason The Factory blows up in the end, since Candy forgets to actually turn the gas stove off.

—-Act 3 - Area 52——-

• Just the fact the only reason the aliens even survive their predicament is because Stereo had a bad case of indigestion which broke his container. Bonus points: Stereo can also just waltz on in to the examination room while all the evil scientists are right there. He can also inhale deadly poisonous gas from a tap, or pump it into the examination room.
• The Elevator that makes quite frankly awful attempts at being funny.
• Candy gets dumped into a waste area and has to escape. How does she do this? She disguises herself as a female robot, seduces a male robot, and then afterwards steals his money to pay for a ride out from a giant fly.
• Gorgeous gets dumped into a toxic waste area full of skeletons. You can promptly touch the deadly waste with your bare hands and melt.
  • You can also threaten various things with the fire axe, although the desk you can threaten flat-out tells you it's not impressed.
• Bud's section in the golf maze has the super fast snail... which promptly goes VERY SLOWLY when Bud is riding on it. Bud gets stuck outside in the desert for his troubles and has to deal with the heat. And when the other Aliens FINALLY manage to open the rock, you can go down via a hose you find.... and smack onto the floor and die because the hose was too long.
• The alien's spaceship gets jacked right at the very end, and they decide to use the mad scientist's personal giant red rocket to escape on instead. Cue said scientist just casually appearing inside the ship and telling them it's actually a 1 million gigaton bomb they are flying towards their home planet.
• The ending: Bolok jettisons the bomb back to Earth towards the facility, because Dr. Saccharin betrayed him and didn't see any reason not to blow up the Earth. Cue the entire Earth dramatically exploding, and Gorgious asks if anyone heard something, with the other aliens answering "no" in unison.
