• God Hand: The end of the Elise fight is much the same as an Action Command you can execute against Shannon, plus Destination Defenestration. For bonus points, both have, at the very least, a similar theme! And there is also the Final Boss fight against the Black Baron (stop starin'), which features a Pummel Duel Action Command similar to one you can execute against the Devil Hand.
• The Matrix: Jack partakes in some Bullet Time performing a B Finisher on a midair foe. Kreese also parodies the "red pill/blue pill" dialogue sometimes when Jack grabs a Happy Pill.
• One of the A Finishers is a Kinniku Buster that splits the victim in half.
• Big Long Driller is based on the Big Daddies, as he is a huge, masked drill bearer whose helmet has multiple "eyes".
• Both Big Bull Crocker and Big Long Driller do Leatherface's distinctive "rage dance".
• The Maintenance Facility in Area 66, home to The Masters (Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon parodies that carry sabers that aren't heavy...), is full of shout outs to various sci-fi franchises.
  • The Mooks are a mix of cylons and storm-troopers.
  • The bridge of a familar looking space ship is controlled by "very enterprising" aliens.
  • The commentators tell Jack to "Use the For--MAGNETS!"
  • "Jack won the power struggle! Great, Jack, Don't get cocky!"
  • "You are now entering The FUCKED-UP Zone!"
• Frank is a nod to the Frankenstein's Monster.
• You can activate a machine called the After Burner in the casino area.
• von Twirlenkiller's biggest tornadoes will lift a cow into the air.
• One of Howard's reactions to Twirlenkiller's tornados is "Auntie Em! Auntie Em! It's a twister!"
• Jude the Dude is touted as "the Brokest Back in the West".
• The description of The Dungeon level is "Welcome to the dungeon, we got fun and games!"
• The first minigame has you throw people into a jet engine. Or as the Black Baron puts it "Accelerate that ass into the Danger Zone at thirty thousand Gs!"
• The song "Ain't that Funny" from the game's official OST has the verse "Jack, Jack! He's a psycho-maniac!", a reference to the famous Lego commercial ("Jack, Jack! He's a lego-maniac!").
• Amala calls Agent XIII "one asshole to rule them all.
