- Titanic (1997):
- The Stinger has Neytiri ask Jack to draw her like one of his Earth girls. (Both Jack and Neytiri come from movies directed by James Cameron.)
- During John Connor's brief exposition recap cameo in Terminator, he shares his voice with Batman.
- When Lucius Fox floods the reactor chamber in The Dark Knight Rises, he says "Get busy swimming or get busy dying"
- Superman recalls the climax to Superman Returns before Batman loses interest and kicks off The Dark Knight.
- Ray Arnold shoots a raptor breaking into Jurassic Park's control room, and proclaims, "I've had it with these mothereffing raptors on this mothereffing island!"
- God of War
- In the same vein as above, after Mace Windu kills Palpatine and Darth Jar Jar in Revenge of the Sith, he proclaims, "Enough is ENOUGH! I've had it with these nerf-herdin' Sith Lords in this nerf-herdin' Senate!"
- Near the end of Scream (1996), Freddy Krueger appears to attack everyone. Both films were directed by Wes Craven.
- Batman Begins:
- Jim Gordon's wife sees King Joffrey. Jack Gleeson appeared in the film as a kid who talked to Batman and is later saved by Rachel Dawes.
- In the second stinger, Rachel's face changes before Bruce's eyes, as a result of her actress changing from Katie Holmes to Maggie Gyllenhaal for The Dark Knight.
- Pacific Rim
- The Power Rangers show up in their Megazord as the clean-up crew.
- The Category 5 kaiju that emerges from the breach turns out to be Godzilla, who is immediately slain by Voltron.
- Russell Casse from Independence Day appears before the Precursors, saying his famous line "Hello, boys! I'm baaaack!" before Gipsy Danger explodes.
- In the second stinger, another character whose movies both Ron Perlman and Guillermo del Toro collaborated on bursts out from the dead kaiju baby: Hellboy.
- Wolverine stealing the show during the musical number in "How Frozen Should Have Ended" shouldn't come as a surprise to viewers who know about Hugh Jackman's past in musical theater.
- In the video for Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Steve scoffs at the idea that a major Marvel character will die, likely a reference to the fact that Cap really was shot in the comics. This can be seen as HISHE Tempting Fate as Chris Evans has stated he is planning to retire from acting after he's completed the Captain America trilogy.
- In the epilogue of the second Villain's Pub episode, "To The Tailor", Mystique sits next to Joker and shapeshifts into the 1989 version of him.
- Songs Ultron quotes in "How the Avengers: Age of Ultron Teaser Should Have Ended" include "I've Got No Strings" (which also played in the actual teaser), "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes" (prompting Hulk to cry, "Cinderelly!" in a manner similar to Cinderella's talking mice friends), "A Whole New World", "Hakuna Matata", "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?", and "You've Got a Friend in Me".
- "Lego Batman is Jelly", the series' third parody of The LEGO Movie, references two other things featuring Emmett's voice actor, Chris Pratt. The video reveals that he has spent so much time working out, he turned into Star-Lord. After revealing his new bod to Batman and Wyldstyle, he proclaims, "I've come a long way from the days when I hung out at the park for recreation", while a flashback of his unfit self playing banjo at the park appears.
- Part two of Age of Ultron has Quicksilver quickly and gleefully redirect an enemy's bullets, while a song about saving time in bottles plays.
- The Force Awakens
- Supreme Leader Snoke is swapped out with Gollum
- The stormtrooper guarding the captured Rey is wearing a bow tie, just like another character played by Daniel Craig.
- The Jungle Book
- Baloo mentions "nature's own Circle of Life" at the end of the "Bare Necessities" parody.
- Kaa attempts to eat Winnie the Pooh, in a scene that lampshades Disney's tradition of having them share a voice actor (Sterling Holloway in the '60s, Jim Cummings after his death).
- The Batman V. Superman video reveals Green Lantern (2011) as another Ryan Reynolds character in disguise.
- The epilogue of Civil War has Tony ask Steve if he's a HYDRA agent. Steve denies this, then asks, "Why would you think that?" A short time before the video's release, Captain America: Steve Rogers made an Ass Pull that would have confirmed Tony's inquiry.
- X-Men: Apocalypse:
- Gandalf appears riding an eagle and wearing the helmet of Magneto's older self telling the police officers about to arrest Magneto and his family that they "shall not harass!", causing one startled officer to fire an arrow at Boromir.
- When Magneto asks Mystique if she has a son, she nervously glances at Nightcrawler who is her son in the comics.
- When Jean unleashes the power of The Phoenix, Mystique angrily says that she was supposed to be the girl on fire.
- The Stinger has Mystique shapeshifting into Bruce Wayne from Tim's Burton's Batman film when Batman flirts with her and asks if she wants to know his secret identity. This is a reference to X-Men: Apocalypse being set in the 1980's, which is the same period the film was released.
- Rogue One
- Both Krennic and Vader reenact the famous scene between John Daggett and Bane from The Dark Knight Rises. Ben Mendelsohn starred in both films.
- When Chirrut becomes a Jedi, his lightsaber has a white blade and he wields it in Reverse Grip, like Ahsoka Tano in Star Wars Rebels. It's also an example of Ikea Weaponry from a blind Jedi, possibly referencing Kanan Jarrus from the same series.
- K-2SO says "I'm a leaf in the wind" twice while frantically escaping from the blast of the Death Star. This is a reference to Hoban Washburne from Firefly, as it is his trademark line. Both characters were played by Alan Tudyk.
- Moana
- In The Stinger, Becky from Finding Dory appears with Marlin and Nemo, whom she drops into the ocean before landing. She then falls in love with HeiHei. They then attempt to kiss but they humorously miss each other, while Pua, sitting nearby, shakes his head. The song that plays when the two birds fall in love is a spoof of Gary Wright's Dream Weaver which was played in Toy Story 3 when Ken and Barbie fall in love.
- Kong: Skull Island
- The Stinger is a nod to how the actors have previously starred in the MCU. Loki insults Kong as a dull creature only to quickly squashed. Shortly afterwards, Nick Fury, Captain Marvel, and Rhomann Dey offer him a chance to join the Kaiju Defence Initiative.
- In the same video, Hank Marlow gives a short speech about leaving your gas mask on around poisonous gas (having witnessed a character die after taking his mask off), closing his spiel with "For your health!"
- In The Last Jedi HISHE, when Leia places her hand on the glass door, it has "Not Penny's boat" on it.
- Deadpool 2:
- The X-Force members include Pennywise the Dancing Clown and the other Old Spice man.
- Aquaman
- Karathem bursts out of the ground in song.
- Vulko calls Arthur Curry "Sharkbait".
- Avengers: Endgame:
- 2023!Cap and 2012!Cap argue with each other about pointing at each other's asses.

- Mike, played by Isiah Mustafa, channels Old Spice commercial and collects everyone's trinkets for them.
- The Losers Club remarks how beating Pennywise was super easy, barely an inconvenience.
- Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom: Two of the potential buyers during the auction scene are Nathalie Sancouer and the Gorilla.
