Shout Out / Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned

  • Johnny is given a baseball bat before a biker race, and can respond with the line "Nice bat... Let's give these bitches some Road Rash."
  • "Brian, come out and play!"
  • The Dine and Dash Killer is an obvious homage to Hannibal Lecter.
  • The Rhapsody is based on an AMC Pacer, which is perhaps known best as the Mirthmobile from Wayne's World. No points for guessing which song the car's name is supposed to reference.
  • The DLC itself is basically a game version of Sons of Anarchy. There's the Hamlet parallels, the patches bikes and characters are similar, and the fight for leadership between Johnny and Jax and Billy and Clay, and in both versions the leader is a detriment to the club.
  • Genderrolldoll.com, an in-game website accessible in The Lost and Damned, parallels that of themed doll lines such as American Girl which are marketed as educational toys teaching history and values through dolls representing eight– to eleven–year–old girls from various eras. In keeping with Rockstar's grossly satirical take on American society, the two dolls in the Gender Role Doll collection are portrayed with negative stereotypes, with Kyle as a redneck drunkard and Stacey as a subservient Dumb Blonde. Even the dolls' face moulds are more or less similar to a typical American Girl or baby dolls.
