- "Bad Romance," for recruiting two Incubi or Succubi while playing as a Succubus.
- "I'm A Real Boy," for recruiting a human and shopping at a Merchant while polymorphed into a human from an Automaton.
- "Flutter Shy," for using the Insectoid's flutter ability to reach an inaccessible area.
- "Wonderful Toys," for using Teleportation to reach an inacessible area.
- "Rage Against The Machine," for killing 20 enemies while they attack Dummybots.
- "Enter The Dungeon," for starting the game.
- "Throw Me The Whip!" for dying to a Boulder trap.
- "Rhinestone Cowboy,"note for identifying 50 pieces of worthless glass.
- "In Greater Numbers," for winning a game with at least two players alive; also "You Were The Chosen One," for dying with a legendary item equipped.
- "Thundergnome," for clearing the Gnomish Mines.
- "Thanks, Mr Skeltal," for acquiring the artifact axe Parashu from the unique skeleton Funny Bones.
- "Theseus' Legacy," for escaping from the Minotaur's Maze.
- "Confessor," for mind-controlling an NPC who is already allied to you.
- "Master," for finding the Master's Wing in the Hall of Trials, has a picture of Dumbledore as its' icon.
- "Robbing The Cradle," for looting the Haunted Castle and living to tell about it.
- "Tricks and Traps," for finding the Jungle Temple.
- "Despair Has Its Own Calms," for slaying Bram Kindly and escaping his castle. Kindly's name is itself a probable reference to Dracula's author, Bram Stoker.
- "It's All in the Reflexes," for catching a thrown knife or tomahawk.
- "Comedian," for equipping Funny Bones' gear - and nothing else - as a true Skeleton.
- "Pimping Ain't Easy,"note for recruiting a cumulative total of 6 humans, Incubi or Succubi as a true Incubus/Succubus.
- "Cowboy From Hell," for killing 50 enemies with the Whip after teleporting them.
- "Utility Belt," for having one of every crafting Tinkering item at once.
- "OHAI MARK," for teleporting to and assassinating 20 enemies as an Incubus in one playthrough.
- A few of the unique miniboss enemies are also this.
- The unique spider who can appear in the first two zones, Shelob, is a particularly tough, fast spider who is smart enough to open doors. When killed, she drops Dyrnwyn and a Ring Of Invisibility with the maximum possible curse level, -5.
- Another Unique Enemy from the Mines, Algernon. Essentially a souped-up Rat that can open doors, Algernon is around twice as fast as the average rat, and has the health to match.
- The pieces of mail are almost exclusively references.
