    Hank Wimbleton
Hank J. Wimbleton, God of Thrilling Violence (The Protagonist, "Our Hero", Mag!Hank)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/hank_basic.png
After being Magnified
  • Lesser God (Intermediate after his revival)
  • Symbol: A pair of red glasses next to a Glock 20
  • Theme Song: The theme song from ''Depredation''
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good...or maybe Chaotic Neutral
  • Portfolio: Normally wears a Badass Longcoat, One-Man Army, uses dismembered body parts, tossed weapons, and other egregious weapons to kill, Floating Limbs, Super-Reflexes and Super-Strength, gets himself killed a lot, Probably a hero
  • Domains: Chaos, Slaughter, Weaponry, Costumes
  • Heralds: Sanford and Deimos
  • Allies: Kenny McCormick, The Metal Slug crew, Augus, Akuma, really any god who fights for the heck of it
  • Enemies: The Joker, Pennywise the Dancing Clown, basically any Monster Clown, the GUAL, The Rebel Army, Alex Mercer, Gabriel Reyes
  • Intimidated by: The Chosen One
  • Intimidates: Noel Vermillion, (His efficiency at using guns is not something to scoff at)
  • Somewhere in the Pantheon, one of the bases owned by Morden's Rebel army fell silent. Marco and his comrades, not wanting to pass up the opportunity of investigating, decided to search the base themselves. By the time they arrived however, they were shocked to find every soldier killed in some manner. Only one occupant was still alive, and evidence suggested that he killed them all himself. He didn't seem to trust Marco's crew, but he eventually agreed to come with them and explain himself. During his trial, some members of the Court of Gods found his brutality so maddening that they couldn't help but feel amused over it. Soon, it was decided that he would be allowed to stay at the House of Slaughter under the title he is now known for.
    • The stranger introduced himself as Hank J. Wimbleton, a man wanted throughout "Nevada" by the Agency Against Hank Wimbleton, or the AAHW, an organization that oppressively controlled much of Nevada. Why such a group is dedicated to killing him is unknown, but he kept insisting that it all started when he picked a fight over a boombox.
  • While Morden still hates Hank's guts for the stunt he pulled prior to his ascension, the Metal Slug crew couldn't help but relate with Hank and his Mook slaughtering shenanigans. They offered to let him try out their Metal Slug but he refused, since he prefers killing people on foot.
  • Considering what the AAHW might get away with if their shadowy leader, the Auditor, catches wind of the Pantheon, the GUAG eventually agreed to work with Hank to counter the AAHW should they ever invade the Pantheon. However, many of the more idealistic members are wary of his methods, and aren't sure if he's all that good to begin with.
  • There has been an instance where his heralds, Sanford and Deimos, managed to resurrect him not with an Improbability Device, but rather a machine used to turn AAHW members into MAG Agents. This resulted in Hank becoming slightly larger, with his arm physically deformed to look like a crustacean tentacle. Apparently, the process was also supposed to hamper his intelligence to the point where he would be retarded, but somehow that didn't seem to be the case. In fact, Hank sometimes acted smarter than before he was revived. It isn't likely that he would be able to revive this form, unless a copy of the Magnification device is somehow brought to the Pantheon by the AAHW.
    • Not surprisingly, Alex Mercer seems intrigued by Hank's magnified form and the implications that come with it. As much as he would like to consume him, he may have to wait until Hank acquires that form.
  • Hank remembered gaining lightning powered abilities that made his body physically stronger, when he touched an Amplifier Artifact known as the Halo. Whether he will ever gain this power again is uncertain, since the Halo is still being worn by the Auditor outside the Pantheon.
  • He sees many of the Monster Clowns in the Pantheon as his enemies, since they remind him too much of one of his rivals, Tricky, whether it is because they kill for fun, or because they happen to be eldritch to some degree.
  • The GUAL quickly opposed everything about Hank, due to his chaotic behavior going against their desire for order and stability. It doesn't help that many of its members are Religious Bruisers who remind Hank of his other rival Jebus Christoff.
  • Recently, Hank has been feeling suspicious around Gabriel Reyes, also known as the Reaper. Apparently this is because of several similarities he shares with the Auditor, such as his ability to become intangible to bullets, being a shadowy leader of a group of armed men, and his bizarre tendency to pull weapons (specifically shotguns for Reaper) out of thin air. The only reason the rest of Talon hasn't been provoked by Hank is because of how uncommon it is for him and Reaper to encounter each other.
  • Many of the other Blood Knights in the Pantheon, such as Augus and Akuma, respect him for his fighting capabilities. Every now and then, he would accept a challenge from some of the gods who are at most the same deity rank as him. (Accepting a duel from a Greater God or Overdeity is bound to get him killed, so he refuses those offers.)
  • On the other hand, those who do not feel uncomfortable about him, such as Noel Vermillion, feel that way exactly because of how many people he can slaughter.
  • With the number of people he can kill within minutes, it would be of no surprise that Khorne would favor him. The possibility of being corrupted by Khorne becomes greater with this approval, which gives people even more reason not to trust Hank. Not that the approval seems to change him in any way...
  • Hank has got himself killed enough times to gain the attention of Kenny, who also got himself killed in a multitude of ways. They get along rather well, considering that they both dealt with eldritch enemies bringing them back to life against their will.
  • Hank had once heard about an incident when the Chosen One pulled many people out of Nevada to obliterate them in a place called Newgrounds. After realizing that he was also in the Pantheon, Hank has remained wary of the Chosen One's power, despite the Second Coming telling him that the Chosen One had turned over a new leaf long after the incident. (Even if the same thing happens to Hank, it wouldn't be the only time he was sent to Newgrounds.)
  • Further investigation seems to imply that it was an anonymous entity that revived him into Morden's base from Nevada with full knowledge of what he was capable of. (Hank also revived in his non-magnified form, for whatever reason.) The last thing Hank remembered doing was defeating Tricky in Nevada's afterlife, which gave the Auditor full control of his powers once more. Regardless, the investigation into who sent Hank to the Pantheon is still ongoing.

     The Stickworld
The Stickworld is a Stick Figure Animation series started by Zeruel82Mk2 on November 7, 2013. Of course, before the series was called this, it began with a smaller line of FlipaClip videos called The Cliff, in which random stick figures would try to jump across a cliff while killing anyone who got in each other's way. This bloodbath eventually leads to something powerful being summoned and needing to be dealt with before it causes too much destruction. The Cliff itself took inspiration from an earlier animation by xefpatterson as far back as July 4, 2006.

Not including the content for first five episodes of The Cliff, there are 3 seasons of the Stickworld:

  • Season 1 has episodes 1-16 with The Cliff 6 as the finale.
  • Season 2 has episodes 17-24 with The Cliff 7 as the finale.
  • Season 3 is currently ongoing, but spans from episode 25 to episode 37 as of edit.

Set in the same universe is an Obstacle Course series in which a group of Stickmen with varying powers goes through many dungeons, but will always come back from death.

Tropes found in The Stickworld include:

  • After the End: As revealed in various backstories, The One had apparently succeeded in destroying the first Stickworld. The second time The One showed up, the Creator realized what was happening and dismantled the second Stickworld himself whilst moving any survivors to the 3rd and current Stickworld.
  • Anti-Magic: Comes up as a purple field of energy that disables all forms of magic.
  • Author Avatar: The Creator himself.
  • Death Course: Various instances of these are found throughout the Stickworld, usually to protect a MacGuffin necessary for the plot. Eventually an entire series became dedicated to a group of Stickmen solving these.
  • The Hero: Anyone chosen to be an Overseer is meant to be this, though the first one got Drunk with Power.
  • Law of Chromatic Superiority: Most magicians that aren't part of the main cast are drawn in different colors to represent how powerful they are. Beginners are pink, rookies are green, intermediates are yellow, experts are red, masters are blue, legends are purple, myths are gray, and time magicians are cyan.
  • Lighter and Softer: All videos after The Cliff 5 had it so that stickmen do not bleed when wounded or killed, but are simply Reduced to Dust.
  • Magic Versus Science: A sidearc of Season 1 goes over an antagonist known as The Scientist, a stickman who considered magicians to be cheaters and created increasingly powerful Robots to eliminate them.
  • Omnicidal Maniac: The first season as well as the first 5 episodes of The Cliff have Lolph and his allies deal with The One, a demonic entity hellbent on destroying the Stickworld's inhabitants, and even got close to killing the Creator.
  • Shout-Out: Lolph and his family take their names from Swedish actor Dolph Lundgren.
  • Snakes Are Sinister: Episodes 11, 12, 14, and 15 have a series of serpentine monsters threaten the protagonists. The fourth one, the Dark Serpent, proves to be so powerful that Lolph decides to get the Creator to dispose of it.
  • Time Master: Some stickmen are able to become Time Magicians and stop everything that isn't them for several seconds. A variant of this is the Chrono Magician, who can see into the past of wherever they are, even as far back as previous Stickworlds.
  • Toilet Humor: The Stickworld isn't above being silly in this manner, with instances such as stickmen getting a Groin Attack, or the Obstacle Course series having a Stink magician as a guest for one episode.
  • Too Dumb to Live: Apparently, stickmen won't stop trying to jump across cliffs because bridges make it too easy. Magicians who learn Flight don't have this excuse, but will usually run into something that kills them anyway.

     Genshin Impact (Timeline before Prologue)
A general timeline for the history of Teyvat. Do note that this is a work-in-progress that technically can't be complete until Natlan and Snezhnaya (and possibly Khaenri'ah) are added. Also, all spoilers are unmarked, so be prepared before reading through this!

The Seven Sovereigns

The world that would be called Teyvat was once inhabited by Vishaps, who were led by the Sovereigns, seven powerful dragons who each carried authority over an element.

The Primordial One descends

  • An entity called the Primordial One "descended" onto Teyvat and fought with the Sovereigns. Their divine authorities were eventually stolen, and most of them were killed. However, it was believed that those that were killed would eventually reincarnate, with the Hydro Sovereign taking a human form.
  • The Primordial One would create humans as well as gods to lead them. It would also split itself into four shades to rule over Teyvat.

The Archon War (??? - 2000 years before the Traveler awakens)

  • A massive war would break out for unknown reasons, with the gods fighting each other for control over the Sovereigns' divine authorities to become the Seven Archons of Teyvat.
  • Mondstadt was initially divided between Decarabian, the God of Storms, and Andrius, the Wolf of the North. Decarabian would seal his people in what would be called Old Mondstadt, not realizing the oppression they felt, while Andrius suffocated the rest of Mondstadt in intense blizzards.
    • Eventually, one of a thousand wind spirits responsible for giving hope to people would gain enough power to create his own following when he hears the prayers of Gunnhildr. Andrius realizes that his savage power could never allow anyone to live properly, and so allowed his physical body to die. Meanwhile, Decarabian would stay in his tower until the growing wind spirit, now known as Barbatos, would convince the people of Mondstadt to revolt and kill their god. Various people such as Decarabian's lover Amos, and the nameless bard who followed Barbatos were killed in the fallout. Barbatos would take the bard's form and lead his people to the city that would be called Mondstadt, while he used the power of Anemo to blow away the hostile mountains and leave behind peaceful fields and valleys.
  • Liyue was a vicious battlefield where many gods died attacking each other. Eventually an alliance of illuminated beasts and gods known as adepti would form around the God of Contracts, Morax, known to the people of Liyue as Rex Lapis.
    • The God of Salt, Havria, would rule over the northwestern part of Liyue, but her people's faith in her faded to the point that they decided to kill her. The explosion that ensued turned everyone that was too close into salt statues, and the survivors fled to Morax for protection.
    • The God of the Soil, Marchosius, cared greatly for the people of Liyue and always came up with new ways to cook food to provide. However, a great flood ravaged the land, and he was forced to sacrifice his power to undo it while the civilians fled to the city that would become Liyue Harbor. Forgetting who he once was, he would seal himself away in a cave.
    • Somewhere in the plains of the Guili Assembly, Guizhong, the Goddess of Dust, was killed in a battle. Many of her friends grieved over this, especially the adeptus Streetward Rambler, who later took the appearance of an old woman before disappearing into the crowds of Liyue Harbor.
    • Morax would personally protect Liyue Harbor from massive waves formed by Osial, Overlord of the Vortex, before destroying him with massive stone spears that eventually became the Guyun Stone Forest.
    • Morax also made various contracts with some adepti to have them contain the remains of fallen gods, or demons. These adepti would be known as the Yakshas, and though they were initially led by 5 great warriors, would wear themselves out and succumb to the karma of the demons until only one of them, Alatus, remained on duty.
    • Although Morax would also make a contract with the Geo Dragon Azdaha, the latter's memory would begin to erode, and he would attack the miners working at the Chasm. Morax reluctantly fought the dragon and realized he didn't have the power to kill him, so he instead got him out of the Chasm and sealed him beneath a tree called the Dragon Queller.
    • Chenyu Vale was originally ruled by a different god whom the adepti Fujin, Lingyuan, and Herblord followed. However, seeing that their leader had grown dangerously obsessed with keeping Rex Lapis out, they decided to foil her plan to flood the region. Herblord vanished after personally defeating her, while Fujin and Lingyuan retreated into the wilderness.
  • Inazuma was largely ruled by the Electro Archon Baal, though her sister Beelzebul would handle various threats to Narukami Island.
    • The serpent known as Orabashi, who initially fled to the underground city of Enkanomiya and became their god, decided that his people needed to reintegrate into Teyvat. Despite knowing that his knowledge of the world before the Primordial One would have him executed, he decides to leave and head toward Yashiori Island, where the Heavenly Principles ordered Beelzebul to kill him, though one of Beelzebul's generals, a tengu named Sasayuri would apparently die in the fallout. The Island was cleaved in two by the Musou no Hitotachi, and the serpent's bones would occasionally be harvested as resources for swords. However, Orabashi's remaining power would corrupt the lands as Tatarigami, which required several wards to be sealed away. Meanwhile, the people of Enkanomiya would migrate to the island above known as Watatsumi Island, and worship Orabashi as the Watatsumi Omikami to this day.
    • Somewhere on Tsurumi Island, people would worship a nameless Thunderbird despite the fact that it usually ignored them. The Thunderbird would encounter a young boy named Ruu who would sing to her and refer to her as "Kanna Kapatcir." One day, she would discover that the boy had been sacrificed as part of his people's attempts to worship her, and she went into a berserk state and killed them all. Her rampage continued to Seirai Island, where Beelzebul would put her down.
  • The Nation of Dendro, Sumeru, was initially ruled by three gods who were close friends with each other: Greater Lord Rukkhadevata, the God of Wisdom, Nabu Malikata, the Goddess of Flowers, and the Scarlet King (Amun), known to his people as King Deshret.
    • Rukkhadevata had set up the Akademiya, an institute of scholars and sages who would rule alongside her. She also had a race of familiars known as the Aranara, fairy-like creatures with powers related to dreams and memories.
    • Nabu Malikata would die for unknown reasons, leading the Scarlet King to desperately search for a way to revive her. He ends up uncovering forbidden knowledge from outside Teyvat, which destroys his lands and cursed some of his people with Eleazar. He tricks the Dendro Sovereign, Apep, into digesting him, which seals away the forbidden knowledge. However, the lands that would become the Great Red Sand fall into ruin as its people flee to Aaru Village.
  • The region that would become Fontaine was once called Remuria, named after the god king Remus. When it was prophesized that a great flood would end the supposedly endless prosperity of his kingdom, he made various attempts to erase any possibility of his people perishing, such as creating golden Ichor from the Primordial Sea to preserve their souls. Eventually, a group of vishaps and other individuals who were pushed aside by Remus' laws started a rebellion under the dragon king Scylla. Remus would realize his failures but his harmost Boethius continued to fight and eventually sealed Scylla within the Ichor. Most parties were then swept away and Remuria sank into what is implied to be the Abyss.
    • The Hydro Archon Egeria later ruled over Fontaine with the Oceanids as her subjects. After noticing how the Oceanids are attracted to humanity's traits, she decides to attempt to turn her people into human mimics by injecting them with Primordial Seawater. However, this proves to be forbidden by the Heavenly Principles, who cast a prophecy that Fontaine would be flooded and its people washed away as the Hydro Archon weeps on her throne.
      • To hold back the prophecy, Egeria would exile criminals to the north of the Court of Fontaine and have them build the Fortress of Meropide above a patch of the Primordial Sea.

(2000 years - 500 years)

  • Following his creed of Freedom, Lord Barbatos leaves Mondstadt to govern itself without him. At first, the country is ruled between three aristocratic clans: the Gunnhildr clan, the Imunlaukr clan, and the Lawrence clan. However, the Lawrences grows corrupt and subjugates the rest of Mondstadt.
    • A young lady named Vanessa is born into a nomadic tribe that is forced to flee from Ursa the Drake, a monster that had been rampaging through Mondstadt at the time. They retreat to the city, but are enslaved by the Lawrences, with Vanessa forced to become a gladiator.
      • Meanwhile, a band of warrior-musicians called the Wanderer's Troupe travels to Mondstadt and attempts to usurp the aristocracy. They fail, and the members of the Troupe who couldn't flee are either killed or enslaved.
      • Around 1600 years after Mondstadt was founded, Barbatos would awaken and visit the city as the bard Venti during the festival of Ludi Harpastum. He encounters Vanessa and eventually reveals himself to aid her in her last gladiator fight against Ursa the Drake which was orchestrated by the Lawrence clan. Ursa is sent fleeing, and Vanessa

The Cataclysm (500 years before the Traveler awakens)

  • Throughout Teyvat, monsters and machines began to erupt from the Abyss and attack everything in sight.
  • In Mondstadt, a poisonous dragon called Durin started laying waste, and the Knights of Favonius were called upon to stop it and other monsters. One knight, Rostam, would die in this attempt. His lover, Rosalyne, discovered this after coming back from her studies in Sumeru and deliberately sacrifices herself by becoming the Crimson Witch of Flames, a Pyro-elemental that felt constant pain as she burned through the monsters that killed Rostam.
    • Eventually, Barbatos and Dvalin did come back, and together they would destroy Durin at Dragonspine, albeit in a severely corrupted state. Thus, they would retreat once again to recover.
    • The Crimson Witch continued to burn in grief, destroying all monsters in her path, before eventually running into the man who would call himself Pierro. She would accept Pierro's offer to abandon her identity and join the Fatui as La Signora.
  • Monsters also erupted from Liyue's Chasm, and the Millelith were rallied to force them back. They were later joined by the Yaksha Bosacius, who despite forgetting his name due to the karma in his body, continued to honor his duties. Eventually, he and the Millelith would come up with a plan to seal themselves in with the monsters in one of the deepest corners of the Chasm, ending the destruction in Liyue.
  • Despite being far from the mainland, Inazuma was also swamped by monsters and filth, to the point that Kitsune Saiguu eventually sacrificed herself to contain the filth. Meanwhile, Baal would answer a call from the Heavenly Principles to head toward Khaenri'ah without telling her sister.
    • Beelzebul's other general, the oni Mikoshi Chiyo, fought some of the monsters only to be corrupted when one of them tried to swallow her whole. Chiyo attacked Beelzebul in a vicious rage, only to have her arm cut off before fleeing for an unknown part of the forest.
  • In Sumeru, the forbidden knowledge that King Deshret sacrificed himself to erase would return as the Withering, known to the Aranara as Marana. It would ravage the home they called Vanarana, forcing them to flee while some Aranara such as Aramuhukunda sacrificed themselves by becoming Ashvattha Trees to seal it away.
    • Unlike the rest of the Seven, who were ordered to go to Khaenri'ah, Rukkhadevata would head out into the desert to deal with a fissure close to where the Hydro Archon had died.
    • Remembering how her old friend died sealing away the forbidden knowledge, Rukkhadevata decided to do the same by creating a branch of herself whom she eventually hoped would get the power to erase her from Irminsul. Before Rukkhadevata destroys herself in the physical world, she would declare: "Let the world completely forget me."
    • Unfortunately, when the branch was found by Sumeru's sages, they only grieved over Rukkhadevata's loss, believing that this Dendro Archon could never be her equal. The new God of Wisdom, Lesser Lord Kusanali, would remain sealed in the Sanctuary of Surasthana, where her predecessor used to meditate.
  • The forces of Fontaine would confront a massive creature called Elynas, who soon realized that its poison was ruining the land, and chose not to resist being destroyed. With much difficulty, Elynas was eventually "killed" and its remains merged into the Beryl Region.
  • Khaenri'ah is destroyed by the Heavenly Principles. Pureblooded citizens are cursed with immortality, while citizens with blood of other nations were cursed to turn into monsters.
    • The captain of the Black Serpent Knights, Dainsleif, orders his men to protect the citizens before heading out to Sumeru to help stop the Cataclysm that was occuring near the region in Sumeru that would be called the Girdle of the Sands. Despite his efforts, he too would be cursed with immortality.
    • Beelzebul makes her way to the ruined kingdom, only to find her sister dying. She takes Baal's consciousness back to Inazuma, and leaves it under the Sacred Sakura which had spontaneously appeared while she was away.
  • Two celestial beings who travel from star to star coincidentally descend onto Teyvat and discovering Khaenri'ah in ruins, immediately try to flee. However, they are caught by a deity calling herself the Sustainer of the Heavenly Principles and promptly sealed away.

After the Cataclysm (500 years ago < Prologue)

  • Feeling sheer grief over the lost of her friends and sister, Beelzebul would cut off all ties with Celestia and use technology from Khaenri'ah to produce plans for a mechanical puppet body to govern in her stead while she would host her consciousness in the sword Makoto left behind. She eventually creates a prototype body as a proof of work, but finding that he had developed emotions of his own, decides to seal him within Shakkei Pavilion.
    • The puppet would soon be found by several workers from Tatarasuna's Mikage Furnace, and be referred to as "Kabukimono." The Doctor, who was disguised as a technician, would discover the puppet and alter his sabotage plans by killing the armory officer Niwa before tricking the Puppet into assuming Niwa abandoned him in favor of helping to seal the broken furnace.
      • The puppet would then run into and live with a young boy, who was unknowingly dying from Tatarigami. Eventually, the puppet angrily left behind the home in flames after seeing that the boy had died, and later met Pierro. He would work as the Harbinger Scaramouche and steadily gained power due to the Doctor manipulating him into thinking he needed to become a god.
  • One of the celestial beings who had been sealed away would awaken and eventually find themselves in Sumeru where they met Chlothar, a pure-blooded man from Khaenri'ah, and his hilichurl son Caribert. The sibling would help Chlothar procure some ingredients that he claimed would help Caribert retain some sentience, but they eventually find a set of ruins where a massive crystal was held. The crystal, referring to itself as just a "Sinner," would bless Chlothar with the power to help his son, but something bizarre occurs, and Chlothar goes mad under the belief that Caribert had reweaved his destiny by becoming a "Loom of Fate." He and the Sibling would go on to establish an organization called the Abyss Order, and though Chlothar somehow defies his curse by dying a century later, the Prince/Princess would continue to work towards using the Loom of Fate to destroy Celestia.
  • Faced with the responsibility of dealing with the prophecy that would doom Fontaine, the new Hydro Archon Focolars came up with a plan to trick the Heavenly Principles into thinking she would be put on trial by having a mortal replica called Furina lead in her stead while she remains in a machine that judges its citizens. She tells Furina that as long as Fontaine believes she's the real Hydro Archon, the nation would not be destroyed. Furina agrees to act out her role, but despite her citizens believing her, the water levels begin to rise...
    • A battle would take place within Elynas' remains between the Narzinssenkreuz Ordo and the Marechausse Phantom.
    • Meanwhile, the Hydro Sovereign would be reborn and eventually became Chief Justice Neuvillette.

     The Traveler Awakens
  • After a slumber filled with nightmares and spanning 500 years, the celestial being who would be called the Traveler wakes up around Mondstadt. They eventually save a fairy-like girl called Paimon by fishing her out of a lake. She spends several months teaching the Traveler the language of Teyvat before they decide to set off to look for the other celestial sibling.
    • The Traveler runs into a bard who was attempting to speak with a dragon. They notice him and flee, leaving behind a red crystal that the Traveler purifies. The Traveler later meets Amber the Outrider, who despite questioning them, decides to welcome them to the city.
  • The Traveler and Paimon arrive in Liyue just as the Rite of Descension begins. The ceremony goes awry when it appears that Rex Lapis had fallen dead from the sky. The two try to run to avoid suspicion but encounter the eleventh Fatui Harbinger, Tartaglia.
  • The Traveler stops by at the Angel's Share, a popular Mondstadt tavern, after getting a tip from the Adventurer's Guild about a similarly blonde-haired outlander. This outlander was not the sibling they were looking for, but after several questions as well as introducing himself as Dainsleif, agrees to help the Traveler.
    • The Traveler gets a commission in Liyue asking to investigate an Abyss Order hideout that an infamous Treasure Hoarder tried to scout out. They discover that the thief had been killed by an Abyss Herald. When the Herald tries to kill the Traveler too, they realize why they looked familiar and teleports away.
    • Dainsleif and the Traveler head back to the ruins to confront the Herald once more. Dainsleif uses his power to keep the Herald from escaping, but the Traveler's sibling appears to stop him. The Traveler realizes who they're looking at, and begs their sibling to drop what they're doing so they could leave Teyvat. The sibling refuses, insisting that they needed to "engulf the thrones" and wage "war against destiny," and that the Traveler should carry out their journey across Teyvat before they can come to the same conclusion. The Herald and his leader leave with Dainsleif chasing them through the portal. The Traveler fails to keep up, leaving them and Paimon behind.
  • In order to head to Inazuma, the Traveler decides to take part in the Crux Clash, a fighting event that was being held by the captain of the Crux fleet, Beidou. There, they meet the ronin Kaedehara Kazuha, who had previously fled from Inazuma to avoid the Vision Hunt Decree that was taking place there.
  • Having ensured that no major conflicts are left to resolve in Sumeru, the Traveler and Paimon head out to Fontaine to meet Focolars. There they meet the magician Lyney and his sister Lynette. They tell the Traveler of the prophecy that predicted Fontaine's destruction, so the Traveler agrees to help them prepare for it, as well as attend a show that Lyney would put on later.
    • Lyney's magic show is abruptly cut short by an apparent murder, and Furina accuses him of it. The Traveler agrees to act as Lyney's lawyer and soon meets Navia
    • Having solved the serial disappearances case, the Traveler meets with Neuvillette, who comes up with a plan to get the Traveler into the Fortress of Meropide to find out what happened to Tartaglia.
      • Wriothesley, the one in charge of the prison, reveals that a sluice gate at its bottom was at the brink of breaking, and that he had plans for a ship that could rescue as many people as possible. After the sluice gate breaks, he freezes the water with his Cryo Vision long enough for Neuvillette to arrive and seal the leak himself. With the disaster averted, the Traveler returns to his cell to carry out the rest of his sentence.
    • Just as the Traveler's sentence is completed, an earthquake occurs at Poisson, where a wave of Primoridal Seawater kills several people, including Navia's closest partners.
