Sandbox / TWF Next Level

Go To

TWF Next Level is the brand of the Trope Wrestling Federation made for those who rose up after the birth of HD programming and especially in The New '10s.

The championships of this brand are considered current-generation; as such, one of the listed real-world qualifying championships must be actively held or challenged for in order to be a champion or contender. All title matches will be either simultaneous TWF/real-world defenses against rightful challengers OR "champion of champions" matches between real-world qualified titleholders. Qualifying titles listed under "primary" will allow any titleholder to compete for and hold the specified championship, while qualifying titles listed under "contingent" require the titleholder to also be of this brand.

Before pro wrestling ever knew a Roman Reigns, Leati Joseph Anoa'i first set his sights on becoming a gridiron football star, joining Georgia Tech University's college football team as a defensive lineman. He was able to make it into the pros, before his football career was momentarily put to a halt due to a bout with an acute case of leukemia. Thanks to advanced treatment methods that his family and employers had access to, he was able to put the cancer in remission within a year and resume his athletic exploits. Football didn't last long, however, as he soon finally followed the long line of the Anoa'i clan into professional wrestling, training to wrestle in Florida and entering Vince McMahon's pipeline by joining the Florida Championship Wrestling promotion, competing as Leakee, a variant of his birth name. During his time there, he linked up with two fellow competitors in Tyler Black and Jon Moxley, who eventually came together and formed a pact at Black's urging, debuting as a paramilitia called The Shield and raiding the WWE Universe. Is was through The Shield that he finally gained his famous nom de guerre.

The newly-christened Roman Reigns would quickly and seamlessly integrate his football skill set with the trio's military aesthetic and mentality, adding steel to their fire and fury. While not as seasoned or versatile as the unpredictable Dean Ambrose (Moxley) or the multi-faceted Seth Rollins (Black), Reigns became infamous as the closer of The Shield's battles due to his peak-human durability and explosive power, especially with his devastating application of the Spear to finish off opponents. Reigns became instrumental to The Shield establishing such dominance that they entered the Trope Pantheons before ever losing a match together. When the group was unfortunately destroyed for over three years by the treachery of Rollins under the influence of Triple H and the GUAL, Reigns maintained a cool head and not only kept his agent name, but adapted the trademark tactical gear into something of a coat-of-arms, winning various championships and embarking on numerous wars along the way. Aside from an off-and-on team-up and friendly rivalry with Ambrose and a more heatedly competitive beef with Rollins, his most personal wars came against Triple H (over The Authority's games), Bray Wyatt (whose creeping agendas inevitably clashed with Roman's honor), and Brock Lesnar (as Roman hated Brock for being a world champion under a part-time contract).

For years his rise was deemed controversial due to fans feeling a sense of disconnect between his less than outstanding in-ring personality and how seemingly invincible he is, especially given how hard Vince McMahon has worked to seal him as the top guy in the TWF due to his numerous victories over top stars from multiple eras and constant presence in the championship picture. Still, he remains undaunted by this, for he has had a greater battle to overcome in his life. Reigns not only saw his brotherhood with Ambrose and Rollins finally reunite in 2017, several months after becoming the second to defeat The Undertaker at WrestleMania, he was finally able to defeat Brock Lesnar to bring the Universal Championship back to Next Level in 2018. This upward trajectory was about to run out, though, as his leukemia flared up again, forcing him to relinquish the Championship after only two months as well as publicize his health ordeals for the first time. Returning to action after four months, The Big Dog showed that he was ready to pick up where he left off, returning to his juggernaut ways with a renewed sense of power and faith. While his return proved a patch for as the issues between Rollins and Ambrose at least until the latter left WWE, Reigns had yet to find his true calling... until 2020 came knocking.

Taking a precautionary exile due to a real-world pandemic, Reigns found his name inconsistently redacted from history as though he himself had departed Vince McMahon's company. This infuriated him, as well as his father and uncle, creating a new vicious streak and desire to rule through fear. Plucking Paul Heyman from the obscurity he'd found himself in without Brock Lesnar by his side, opportunistically ripping the Universal Championship out of the grasp of monsters, and using the bait of the championship to terrorize his own cousins The Usos into having Jey be his right hand man while Jimmy was injured, the former Yellow Jacket has taken on the demeanor of a mob boss whilst enforcing the declaration of Tribal Chief over not only the Samoan Dynasty, but the entire wrestling industry, all with the backing of the Wild Samoans to make it official within the family.

His SHIELD-era vest is finally gone, although the call name stays Roman Reigns as a symbol of his empire. He wears pants and a golden glove to battle, representing how everything he touches now turns to gold. He has added new techniques and tactics to his arsenal, now particularly fond of making foes submit to a guillotine choke. None can call him mundane anymore, as he looms over the landscape as a larger-than-life terror the likes of which hasn't been seen in years. He demands to be acknowledged personally as Head of the Table, and for his family to be respected and feared above all else, an expectation which he will stop at nothing to crush any who dare defy.

He shows up and wins.
He wrecks everything and leaves.
Acknowledge him.

The first man to ever ascend to the Trope Pantheon through TNA/Impact Wrestling, AJ Styles initially came of age in the mid-2000s as the defining athlete of Impact and its attempts at an innovative style. He initially pioneered the X-Division, an idea which took the cruiserweight wrestling style and raised its creativity to video game levels while allowing for men who fit the style without being restrained to the weight class to join in. During this time he formed iconic rivalries with men who he often went back and forth with between being best friends and heated enemies, such as Samoa Joe, Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian. When Impact expanded and became more superstar-focused over the years, all of them had to endure some turns in their career; it was Styles, with help from Christian Cage and Ric Flair, who learned to adapt the best out of all of them. Keeping up with the legends that increasingly surrounded him in order to become a multiple-time World Champion, he remained inexorably tied to the identity of Impact to the point of ascending to the Pantheon. Sadly, corporate machinations would later force him out of the promotion at the end of his contract.

Leaving behind the original "House That AJ Styles Built" would normally be considered the moment most wrestlers lost their identity. However, AJ had began forging a new, darker, more dangerous identity through his trials and tribulations even before his departure, exchanging some of the high-flying fare which first made him famous with a more aggressive and versatile arsenal including striking combinations and submissions. This path ultimately led him into Ring of Honor, in which he'd previously visited during his early years, as well as the Japanese territory of New Japan Pro-Wrestling; specifically, he was recruited into the hottest faction created in the past year at the time in pro wrestling, Prince Devitt's Bullet Club. While inducted into The Club the day Devitt was forced to leave Japan, Styles picked up where The Prince left off and defeated NJPW's new rising ace Kazuchika Okada, claiming both Shinnihon's top title and the TWF Undisputed Championship for Bullet Club and sparking its inevitable rise to absolute international fame. When the decision was reached for him to go to America, however, Styles was stabbed in the back by his friends The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega, who seized the opportunity to install themselves as leaders of The Club at New Japan in the wake of his departure.

Heading straight to the WWE Universe circuit run by Vince McMahon and instantly establishing himself as an impact player, Styles was soon joined in the coming months by fellow Bullet Club members Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows. Within his first year, he'd taken Roman Reigns to his absolute limit in a six-man gang war, beaten John Cena on a number of occasions, captured the WWE Championship from Dean Ambrose, and even fought at WrestleMania against Vince McMahon's son. Still, his Club connections remained strong; aside from being backed by Anderson and Gallows in his wars with Reigns and Cena, he engaged Finn Devitt Bálor (under his "Demon King" alter ego) in a friendly exhibition classic a month prior to facing Universal Champion Brock Lesnar. Once the Federation was restructured to allow more non-ascended wrestlers, Styles wasted no time in bringing as many Bullet Club brothers as possible into the fold. No matter which territory one first came across him in, many have conceded that "The Phenomenal One" is a top contender, if not the top contender, for the title of "best wrestler in the world". Unlike CM Punk, however, Styles has rarely claimed that title vocally; he prefers to let his work speak for itself.

  • TWF Championships and Accomplishments:
Claudio "Cesaro" Castagnoli is known as one of the strongest wrestlers on the planet, capable of lifting men twice his already considerable size with ease. He is also a very fast, agile, and hard-hitting man, making him a threat to anyone he faces. Among those who have never held a major world championship, Castagnoli is considered to be easily among the best of his generation. And he did not take an easy path to get there.

Growing up in Switzerland, Claudio started to honing his considerable athetic talents as a teenager, enrolling in competitive tennis, association football, and basketball programs. He also learned to speak five languages, namely English, French, German, Italian, and his native Swiss Romanch. At the age of twenty, he first began to train for professional wrestling, use of firearms, and even banking, all initially under the umbrella of the Swiss Armed Forces. His first four years as a wrestler saw him compete almost exclusively in Europe, during which he gained some more training courtesy of Dave Taylor, former squire and tag team partner of Steven William Regal. He also competed in an amateur rugby league under the alias of Antonio Cesaro, before being kicked out of the league for being too aggressive, as well as formed a championship-winning tag team with fellow wrestling Swiss banker Ares.

Recruited by Larry Sweeney to join his Sweet and Sour Inc. stable, Claudio would fly to the United States long term, with successful stints in Chikara, Ring of Honor, and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. It was under Sweeney's umbrella that Claudio met Chris Hero, with whom he formed the highly-acclaimed off-and-on tag team called The Kings of Wrestling, winning numerous championships in Chikara, ROH, and Combat Zone Wrestling. He also became a PWG World Champion, in addition to being convinced by Ares to join a faction called the Bruderschaft des Kreuzes with the aim of seizing control of Chikara as well as destroy another group which had stolen a precious artifact. However, after flirting with opportunities since 2007, Claudio would ultimately strike out on his own by signing a contract to join WWE's developmental system, debuting in Florida Championship Wrestling in the fall of 2011.

Adding the moniker "Cesaro" to his name in honor of his rugby days, he quickly established himself as a dangerous competitor. It wasn't very long before he found his way to the main WWE roster, brought there by the beautiful Aksana before shortly becoming a United States Champion. Embracing his love of America, as well as his belief that his immigrant patriotism was stronger than that of most natural-born Americans, Cesaro would be welcomed to Zeb Colter and Jake Hager's "Real Americans" movement. During this time, he had brief rivalries in NXT with Sami Zayn and William Regal, even stepping on Regal's head in The Gentleman Villain's last ever match, as well as a historic WrestleMania Moment in 2014 when he singlehanded eliminated the 450-pound Big Show to win the first ever Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

Paul Heyman then convinced him to abandon Colter's cause with promises to elevate his career, and to show his work, he got Cesaro entered into the Trope Pantheons. The rest of his time as a Heyman Guy, however, saw him be used as a simple backdrop for The Advoacte to boast about Brock Lesnar beating The Undertaker at that same WrestleMania. Cesaro's career briefly floundered as a result, during which he was most notable for yodeling to the ring. Ever the consummate professional, The Swiss Superman would rebound by spending the next several years floating around championship-winning tag teams, with Tyson Kidd, Sheamus, and Shinsuke Nakamura. Shin and Castagnoli were initially put together as part of Sami Zayn's Artist Collective, before taking advantage of the TWF expansion to reunite with Shinsuke's longtime friends in CHAOS. Still, the two had individual ambitions, both getting into separate rivalries with former Shield members Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. While failing to take down either The Head of the Table or The Visionary, Claudio received a valuable ally in Bryan Danielson during this time. In the end, he would feud with his longtime rival and teammate Sheamus, who was assisted by a new protégé, before leaving WWE...

...and being recruited by Danielson to join him and Jon Moxley in Regal's Blackpool Combat Club.

Both of the two first mentioned cults sees him as a divine and demanding king who must be served and obeyed at any cost, but while the SES believes that pledging your never-ending loyalty to Punk, shaving your head and living the Straight Edge life is enough to enter the Pantheon, the New Nexus believes that this path also has to be paved by self-torture. In recent time many followers has left both the SES and the New Nexus in order to join the Voiceless, a group who believes that CM Punk is a divine hero who is fighting for his worshippers as well as the people in the mortal realms who are held back by those who wish to silence them. He is also one of the preferred deities of the We Hate Cena Coalition, as they have anointed him as the most likely candidate to destroy John Cena.
  • Despite being the complete opposite of fellow god John Cena, Punk has admitted that he respects him enough, despite hating the idea that he was once billed as the world's greatest wrestler. In fact, it was due to their epic clash in Money in the Bank 2011 that cemented his seat in the Pantheon...not that he'll ever admit that last part.
  • Recently called out the Undertaker at Paul Bearer's tribute event... by interrupting the ceremony and replacing the image of Paul with that of his own. This ended badly as The Undertaker truly decimated him at the following Wrestlemania. He's backed away from the Deadman since.
  • Wasn't happy to find Rey Mysterio in the Pantheon for two reasons. First, was the reason that Rey is still partially mad over how Punk sang to his daughter at her birthday (and Punk got his ass kicked in the process at Wrestlemania 26). The second was how Rey shaved his hair bald during Punk's Straight-Edge Society's days. He has since apologized for his behavior.
    • And when he found that Jeff Hardy got to the Pantheon...let's just say that Punk being unhappy about the development would be a serious understatement.
  • As of January 2014, CM Punk's temple has gone missing. After many of his followers began chanting his name at other gods' temples, the high priests made it very clear that the temple will likely not return. That has not stopped the chanting, however.

The first wrestling deity to ascend without the help of Vince McMahon, Colt Cabana is a man who was once told "Funny ain't money" and has since dedicated his life to proving that wrong. That's not to say that he can't be a very dangerous man inside the ring, as wrestlers from circuits such as Ring of Honor and Combat Zone Wrestling can fully attest to his potency in the ring. His storied and long-standing friendship with fellow Chicago native CM Punk saw him take part in Punk's Second City Saints crusade in ROH.

Even beyond his funny antics in the ring, however, what Cabana is most known for is hosting a podcast in which he interviews other wrestlers about their adventures in the ring. Through that podcast, he became the first host to CM Punk going into full detail with his disgust and bitterness at the WWE Universe, running down Vince and his corporate structure's tendency to manipulate who gets what kind of promotion and opportunities to the point that only a massively-successful event from the affiliated Full Sail circuit could immediately reverse the damage. Cabana has continued to be a presence in wrestling circuits, still competing for major championships at ROH as well as challenging some of the Pantheon's best. Unfortunately, he and Punk ultimately fell out… ironically, over money.

  • During his Heel days, Daniel Bryan was able to knock John Cena off of his feet screaming, "YOU ARE NOT BETTER THAN ME!!!". Also had a thing for choking people with ties, thus ties are no longer allowed to be worn within a 500 foot radius of him.
  • When he and Steve Austin are together, the Ham-to-Ham Combat they generate is magnificent.
  • On the days he teamed up with Kane, they had to go through extensive anger management which ended with them usually having to "hug it out" after matches to show how much of a 'tag team' they became. This became comedy gold with not only the Trollkaigers, but pretty much everyone else in the Pantheon...except for those who teamed up with them and also had to go through those group hugs.
  • Hates being called a "goat face". Nearly put Animal in the Yes! Lock when the drummer had the audacity to call him that.
  • Has a strange thing about wrestling bears for some odd reason. He tried to get Winnie the Pooh into the bear hug and was rewarded with poor Pooh-bear's "stuff and fluff" exploding on him from the pressure. It took the House of Craft days to get Pooh back together, all while Pooh snacked on honey as an apology from Daniel Bryan.

The long story of Finn Devitt Bálor's path to becoming a Pantheon Wrestler started in the rings of his native Ireland. He began teaching in a wrestling school near his hometown shortly after graduating from one, still honing his craft at the same time until an opportunity took him to the primary circuit in Japan. Devitt parlayed an understated sense of star presence, a distinctly chiseled look which had prople calling him a "Prince", and a unique talent with kicks and dives that defied his roughness as an athlete, into historic levels of singles and tag team championship success as a junior heavyweight. However, he felt he could do better, soon swelling with a frustrated ambition that slowly simmered over until he and his best friends that he met through the dojos of New Japan Pro-Wrestling could no longer accept anything less than the very top of the world.

Betraying a longtime tag team partner in order to launch the infamous Bullet Club, Devitt would combine his abilities with the use of Western cheating tactics and a newfound Irish gangster attitude. The Real Rock'n Rolla would become only the second man to go undefeated through the entire Best of Super Juniors and even earn himself a place in the G1 Climax tournament, as well as several chances to take on both Kazuchika Okada and Hiroshi Tanahashi. However, no matter what he tried against Tanahashi or Okada, he could never beat either one of them when it counted the most. Between this, losing his Junior Heavyweight title to Kota Ibushi, and his former partner's revenge, Devitt eventually was forced out of Japan. However, not only did Devitt have a backup plan in place for The Club to continue without him, he'd already arranged to move forward into the NXT circuit in the United States to expand its operations there.

It was in NXT that The Prince first unlocked a secret ability; through special application of body paint, he channeled the power of his namesake, the ancient Fomorian King Bálor, for big time matches, creating the alter-ego of The Demon King. This demonic energy enabled him to shock and awe fans, intimidate opponents, and draw strength unto himself, enhancing his already noticeable skills with a new intensity to become almost unbeatable. He became the longest reigning champion in NXT history, and also began to establish the brand of The Club in the United States. The latter enabled fellow Bullet Club member AJ Styles to enter Vince McMahon's international WWE Universe organization and bring Karl Anderson and Luke "DOC" Gallows with him, with Devitt soon joining them afterward. In WWE, Bálor and company operated somewhat independently from each other, and the Prince even took on an eerie habit of comfortably smiling even after defeat. This was all a ruse: as soon as the Trope Wrestling Federation was restructured, Devitt took the opportunity to jump into the fray with Anderson and Gallows, and even brought in the prodigy he'd trusted to lead Bullet Club's NJPW operations, Jay White. Furthermore, a harrowing defeat at the hands of The Fiend caused him to drop the facade in WWE, returning to NXT with his viciousness openly rekindled.

While said viciousness was simply treated as a competitive trait when he challenged Roman Reigns for the Universal Heavyweight Championship, it would be after he began to back AJ Styles in WWE for the first time when Damian Priest and his mentor Edge turned violent against both of them at the same time and then joined forces to create The Judgment Day that people truly began to understand the depths of Bálor's darkness. Shortly after Finn helped both AJ and Liv Morgan take the fight to Judgment Day, he decided to not only accept their open invitation to join, but also convince Priest and Rhea Ripley to loosen their final limitation by betraying their leader.

Channeling the darkness of Demon King Bálor into his own true self, The Prince helped focus Edge's former "Saints of Fate" as they tormented first The Rated-R Superstar's old friend Rey Mysterio and his family, then Edge himself when he returned to help The Mysterios. Bálor even embraced Ripley's plot to corrupt Rey's own son to betray him for the group, and ultimately employed the group's help to emotionally break Edge in an "I Quit" match. These actions would cost Devitt his very ties to Bullet Club itself, if not when AJ spared no expense in rebuffing his attempt to recruit him in the aftermath, then certainly when The Good Brothers of The OC interrupted their own NJPW business with the approval of Jay White himself to have AJ's back in repelling Finn's violent advances. Still, in using his dark deceiving charm and presence to continue shifting and amassing dark alliances and bolster his already formidable in-ring skills, Prince Finn Devitt Bálor is a nice friend to hang around, but not one to take lightly — as well as an absolutely dangerous enemy to have.

From his rough childhood on the lunatic fringe of Cincinnati, Ohio, to the many bloody matches and brawls he fought within the deathmatch corners of the independent circuit, Jon Moxley has a rough life which has shaped who he is. Equal parts mellow chill dude and violent self-aware psychopath, Mox's brand of wrestling was not one fit to thrive in Ring of Honor, but rather in truly brutal promotions such as Combat Zone Wrestling, where all sorts of weapons and foreign objects were used by maniacs to tear each other open on a semi-regular basis. However, the opportunity of a lifetime came when WWE developmental subsidiary Florida Championship Wrestling brought Moxley in to train and compete for them. While not an unskilled wrestler, he began to truly hone his craft in FCW due to an invigorating championship rivalry he developed with Tyler Black as well as his desire to provoke battle out or legends such as William Regal and Mick Foley. Moxley finally got his wish on the final FCW show before the promotion closed down and transferred its assets to NXT, taking on Regal and brutalizing the legendary Brit to the point he was banned from NXT. And then Tyler Black recruited him and Leakee to join forces and create the paramilitia known as The Shield, at which point Jon Moxley became Dean Ambrose.

Ambrose, with his chaotic style and defiant attitude fronting the group's seemingly-unbeatable warlike tactics, was the first to find singles success among the trio, becoming the longest-reigning WWE United States Champion in history. That said, his bark was still said to be louder than his bite at the time, which caused issues with Leakee, now Roman Reigns, during The Shield's tenure protecting Triple H and Stephanie McMahon's Authority project. Still, a daring plot by Seth Rollins, the former Black, to put a target on his own back, convinced Ambrose and Reigns to put their heads together and continue on their path. Before long, they were finally ready to strike out and turn against The Authority to complete their mission of restoring competitive justice to the WWE Universe, a mission which had carried them into the Trope Pantheon itself prior to even their first defeat. All of Triple H's allies, from Corporate Kane to D-Generation X and even a reformed Evolution, could not stop The Shield...until June 3, 2014, when Ambrose witnessed a chair held by Rollins crash straight into Reigns' back, only to find his own back to be the one Rollins completely destroyed along with the chair.

While the blood-red fury that overcame Ambrose was impressive and somewhat frightening to hear him speak of, challenging foes such as the crafty and Authority-backed Rollins, the sinister Bray Wyatt, and the physically imposing Luke Harper without some control of his faculties was, in a word, stupid. For months his enemies were able to withstand his rages long enough to set him up in dangerous situations, resulting in various incapacitations and being unable to stop them from achieving any of their goals—including Rollins cashing in his Money in the Bank to steal the WWE World Heavyweight Championship from both Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. Only through finally adapting after this and harnessing his chaos was he able to compete in multiple world title matches, become a stable part of the main event scene, and even ultimately obtain his revenge against Rollins by cashing in his own Money in the Bank to defeat Rollins for the World Heavyweight title right after Rollins had captured it from Reigns again in 2016. Ambrose would go on to defeat both Rollins and Reigns in The Shield's three-way clash for the title, though he would later drop the belt to AJ Styles as well as engage in a failed feud with The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship.

Still, Dean's place as one of WWE's top men was secured, and all this before he found himself once again aligned with Rollins, who had been betrayed himself by Triple H, against Miz and his entourage. While Dean made it clear he didn't trust Seth as an ally, he still missed the brotherhood, and thus struggled to brush him away, until one August night when Rollins finally apologized to Ambrose and then fought it out with him man to man, only for Sheamus and Cesaro to try and pick the bones; all The Bar succeeded in doing was to fully bring the two Hounds of Justice back on the same page, leading to them capturing the WWE Tag Team titles as well as reconvening The Shield with Roman Reigns. While Dean went down to an injury for several months during this run, he recovered to help Rollins and later Reigns against the dissident force of Drew McIntyre, Dolph Ziggler, and Braun Strowman. Things weren't so sunny between the lines, however...

Troubled by everything he's endured since joining the Pantheon, not the least of which being still-lingering trust issues from Rollins' betrayal as well as the misery of being injured, Ambrose found himself repeatedly poked by Ziggler and McIntyre for several months upon returning, as they saw he was on the brink of losing his sanity. He held tight to his code despite this, until Reigns was forced to take a hiatus due to a second bout with leukemia. This was Ambrose's breaking point; at the close of the night, he utterly snapped and turned against Rollins with a brutal assault right after they claimed the Tag Team Championships for the second time. When confronted in the ensuing weeks, he finally unloaded on everything that had been pissing him off, with a particular target of Ambrose's fury being Vince McMahon himself for the way his corporate creative structure has hampered the WWE Universe's wrestlers. Disillusioned with everything, he formally quit The Shield's mission, discarding his military name to be Jon Moxley once more. This drew further ire from Rollins as they spent the next few months fighting fiercely over the Intercontinental Championship and their ideological differences.

Ultimately, Reigns returned to action a few months later and got to the bottom of things, getting Moxley to see that he still had his brothers and reconciling for one last ride. Shortly after this, though, his WWE contract expired without renewal, and he took off to cause mayhem at other promotions, such as All Elite and New Japan, on a personal mission that was all his own. His exit seemed to be met on good terms by his Shield brethren at first; however, both Rollins and Reigns in their own ways would cast aspersions on Moxley's character after he was gone as well as later abandon the ideals of The Shield, causing even their Pantheonic associates to find him as the sanest one. Mox, meanwhile, defeated Chris Jericho to become the second AEW World Champion, putting him in TWF Universal Title contention, and became a two-time IWGP United States Champion as well as a thorn in the side of stables such as The Inner Circle and The Elite. He even shared a tense reunion with one of his old friends in Eddie Kingston, fighting out their own issues before standing side by side. Undaunted by his former brothers' backbiting or his new rivals in front of him, Mox has become the modern-era vision of a consummate fighter, sacrificing his body to reclaim his wrestling soul with every single battle in front of him.

In 1986, the kingdom of East Anglia saw the birth of their greatest son. An Anglo-Saxon warrior, destined to be a champion for the ages and a national treasure for all time.

Nick Aldis began training to become a professional wrestler at age 16, after becoming proficient in swimming and tennis and taking up bodybuilding. After several years toiling away on the English independent scene, he gained television exposure via the UK version of Gladiators under the moniker of Oblivion in 2008. As the new "Bad Boy" and obstacle to the contestants, Oblivion showed his wrestling prowess as well as his overwhelmingly headstrong attitude regardless of the situation, taking pride in the fact that no one had ever scored a point against him in the "Earthquake" challenge. Within months of his Gladiators appearance, Aldis found himself signed with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling in the United States.

In the beginning of his time with TNA, Aldis was given the idea of dressing as a wrestling gladiator and calling himself Sir Brutus Magnus. This lasted only a few months before veteran British wrestler Douglas Williams took Aldis under his wing and they partnered up as the tag team called The British Invasion. The duo included a giant Welsh bodybuilder as their enforcer and briefly took part in an multinational alliance called World Elite before the two split and went their own separate ways. Launching the "Magnus Victory" campaign, Aldis then courted alliances with Nigel McGuinness and Samoa Joe, the former being preempted by Nigel's medical issues and the latter seeing Aldis and Joe develop both a tandem and a rivalry as "The Mag Daddy" gradually developed into a force to take notice of.

Through his partnerships with Williams and Joe, the smooth-yet-bruising Brit was able to capture the TNA World Tag Team Championship titles twice. Furthermore, thanks to his history with Joe, Aldis was invited to take part in the reformation of The Main Event Mafia against The Dudley Boyz' biker gang Aces & Eights. After succeeding in this mission, however, Aldis began seeing singles gold in his eyes when AJ Styles' falling out with company president Dixie Carter left the TNA World Heavyweight Championship vacant. Nick's star had shined in the ring to the point where he was becoming one of the best, leading him to a "Dixie Land Match" against Jeff Hardy for the vacated title. In order to become a world champion for the first time in his career, Nick completed a treacherous turn, using Dixie's assistance to defeat Hardy for the title after "The Charismatic Enigma" had refused to do the same. However, the ensuing "Reign of Magnus" was a far cry from the promise that Nick had shown to this point, with Dixie stacking the deck in Magnus' favor by having her cronies victimize his rivals in no-disqualification beatdown affairs before Montel Vontavious Porter was installed as Director of Wrestling Operations in order to stop her. Shortly after this, he lost the title to Eric Young, and he would unceremoniously fade back into the midcard.

He continued to float around both TNA and Global Force Wrestling, with old friends of both Nick and his wife Mickie James accosting them over their marriage, before eventually leaving and heading for the shores of the National Wrestling Alliance as it transitioned from a governing body of championships back into a solid promotion under the guidance of Billy Corgan. Once there, Aldis finally found his true calling as "The National Treasure", capturing the NWA World's Heavyweight Championship and heralding the "Aldis Crusade" to defend the cherished Ten Pounds of Gold across the globe and restore their former glory. Aldis would successfully retain the championship over 50 times during the next two years, the only exception being the month and a half Cody Rhodes spent as champion after beating him at All In. A true throwback to the first-class suit-wearing superstar champions of the past, Nick Aldis brings his unmistakable aura and expert ring generalship to the TWF, ready to shut down the flashiest of new-era athletes at the first opportunity.

This dynamic and versatile wrestler from Davenport, Iowa is heralded by many as one of the very best in the entire industry. His in-ring arsenal and skillset includes high flying dives, powerful throws, and a surprisingly vicious running/jumping Curb Stomp finisher. However, his strongest attribute is his combination of confident passion with a calculating mind, a trait which has been seen since the very early days of his career. He initially gained fame within Philadelphia's Ring of Honor, introducing himself to that circuit as Tyler Black, a member of a twisted political crusade known as Age of the Fall. While he soon fell out with his friend and leader in that organization after said friend attacked his own girlfriend, the group's tenure would leave an indelible mark on the Ring for years to come. Still, "The Architect's" desire to create change did not fade. He continued to maintain rocking anarchist tones both in ROH and in Florida Championship Wrestling, before an opportunity to breach the doors of the WWE Universe presented itself in the form of a man in a suit carrying a briefcase full of tactical gear.

Taking fellow FCW competitors Leakee and Jon Moxley with him, the three men changed their names, Tyler becoming Seth Rollins, and created the paramilitary trio known as The Shield. Beginning their assault on WWE, it didn't take long for The Shield to be inducted into the Pantheon itself. As a member of this group which claimed to stand for justice while being willing to take on paid attack missions, Seth Rollins became known for his ability to constantly move around and talk trash while taking advantage of openings to inflict damaging strikes, confusing and irritating opponents. Rollins achieved his first taste of Pantheon title success when he became a TWF Tag Team Champion once with the man now known as Roman Reigns, with his tactics captaining The Shield to absolute dominance.

Eventually the infamous "Hounds of Justice" infiltrated the McMahon family's "Authority" operation in order to bring it down from the inside; however it was The Shield itself that wold nearly implode, forcing Rollins to tactically pull both Reigns and Dean Ambrose into confronting him in order to keep them together and enact stage two of the plan. This, unfortunately, was the moment that triggered both Triple H and the Grand United Alliance of Law to get in his mind. Filling him with ideas of achieving everything he sought to do as well as reach the top of the industry, The Authority's whispers and GUAL's mental manipulation convinced Rollins to stab his own teammates in the back instead, causing him to act as a pure authoritarian villain for over two years and being embroiled in a blood feud with Ambrose in the process. While Rollins' drive for power still had him slowly break apart The Authority from within and his fondness for his Shield brothers still gave itself away in rare occasional tells, he failed to keep the objective itself in mind, focusing on his own glory and trying to get Triple H ascended into the Pantheon to help him out.

Ultimately, it took being betrayed himself and repeatedly attacked and left for dead by Triple H and other proxies of his reign in order for Rollins to recover his honorable rebellious self. After finally defeating Triple H and putting down the Authority project for good, Rollins found himself forgiven and accepted first by Reigns, then months later by Ambrose, allowing The Shield to occasionally reunite. During this time he embarked on his "Monday Night Rollins" campaign with a stellar performance in a gauntlet match in which he overcame both Reigns and John Cena as the first two victories and lasted over an hour. While his brotherhood seemed to shatter once more due to Reigns suffering from a second bout with leukemia and the volatile Ambrose finally, violently snapping against him all in the same night, these things would slowly be rectified in a matter of months. Meanwhile, the "Monday Night Rollins" campaign ultimately found its goal in rescuing the TWF Universal Championship from the clutches of the part-time conqueror from the Ruthless Aggression brand, Brock Lesnar. Rollins succeeded in this mission at WrestleMania 35.

Determined to change the industry in a more hungry and competitive direction, it seemed nothing could deter the rise of Seth Freakin' Rollins. Until he ran afoul of the fans and then ran into The Fiend.

Shinsuke Nakamura is one of the few to enter the original Pantheon Wrestling Federation despite not being an official deity, vouched for by many wrestling gods, such as his rival and once-good friend AJ Styles.

Looking back at his history, Nakamura used to be a far more straightforward and simple "I'm here to fight and win" type of wrestler than the one we see today, more akin to Katsuyori Shibata than a combat artist. This was back when he, Shibata, and Hiroshi Tanahashi were considered the "Three Musketeers" of New Japan Pro-Wrestling, where he began his wrestling career. Nakamura was the quickest to rise of the three, nicknamed "Super Rookie" and later "Supernova", and even becoming NJPW's youngest Heavyweight Champion ever, all in between occasional excursions to Mexico, mixed martial arts competitions, and problems with initial promoter Antonio Inoki. Following Inoki's departure, however, Nakamura began to take on a more twisted side to his personality. Between heading up a heated faction feud and sensing that the ideals of "strong style" wrestling were being forsaken, a transformation took hold in Nakamura as he abandoned his own group while stealing almost the entire roster of the rival group away from his enemy leader. This created the enterprise known as CHAOS, as well as began a metamorphosis for Shinsuke into the "King of Strong Style", combining an increasingly-eccentric swagger reminiscent of childhood idols such as Michael Jackson and Freddie Mercury with an absolutely scary penchant for stiff physical attacks — not the least of which being the running angled knee strike he would use to take out opponents from that point forward.

While initially hard to understand and obscured by the depths of brutality he and his teammates often engaged in on their mission, Nakamura's energy over time would come to exude the mesmerizing aura of charisma and grace that he had idolized as a child, being able to communicate with the audience by simply wrestling and being in the ring. This was a perfect compliment to the humbling transformation of his young shogun comrade Kazuchika Okada, and ultimately, the redirection of CHAOS into a more virtuous and honorable counterpart to the marauding stables of Suzuki-gun, Bullet Club, and even Los Ingobernables de Japon. Still he remained as vicious a fighter as ever. He would effectively co-lead the faction he created into massive championship success in NJPW for years. Nakamura would become the centerpiece of the freshly-created IWGP Intercontinental Championship, to the point that whenever he lost the belt he would be the one to take it back from the man that defeated him. This would include the last set of battles in his legendary rivalry with Tanahashi, as well as feuds with the likes of Montel Vontavious Porter and Bad Luck Fale. Following a highly-acclaimed and successful title defense at Wrestle Kingdom 10 over AJ Styles, Nakamura would leave NJPW, trusting the full well-being of CHAOS to Okada and making his own journey to America.

His first match with NXT was a triumphant victory over Sami Zayn in a match that was so hotly contested fans took to chanting "Fight Forever!", which would shape the complexion of his run there, with epic encounters with the likes of Samoa Joe, Bobby Roode, Austin Aries, and Prince Devitt, most of which saw Nakamura come out victorious. Nakamura and Joe's rivalry in fact saw the two become the first ever two-time NXT Champions after beating each other back and forth. Eventually he made it into the WWE Universe, where he defeated such luminaries as Randy Orton and John Cena, only to hit stumbling blocks when it came to world championship success. This ultimately hit a breaking point at WrestleMania 34, when he failed to capture Styles' WWE World Heavyweight Championship in a rematch of their famous Wrestle Kingdom encounter. He assaulted Styles after losing the match, then continued to challenge him while antagonizing him with repeated low blows, before turning his attention to the United States Championship and the foundation of a concept called "Nakamerica". Between striking up an alliance of combat artists with Zayn and Cesaro, as well as reuniting with several of his CHAOS peers in the remodeled TWF, Nakamura remains the smooth yet brutal combatant feared by many, but has now regained his air of confidence.

  • TWF Championships and Accomplishments:
The biological son of the legendary King Haku, Tanga Loa can best be described as a rough and tough powerhouse with a loud and menacing attitude. He learned this attitude from several different sources, actually. First was the hard-nosed demeanor that his father took on in the ring and in defense of his comrades and family. Then was his time at the University of Texas at El Paso, in which he played on the gridiron football team as a defensive end while succeeding in his studies as well as occasionally spending vacation time in dangerous parts of Mexico. Finally, he and his adoptive brother Tama Tonga were formally trained to wrestle in The Dudley Boyz' ring at the Team 3D Wrestling Academy, first by Haku and Ricky Santana, then by The Dudleyz themselves.

Not long after he and his brother started officially, T was contacted by a controverial wrestling politician who both campaigned and competed at Florida Championship Wrestling and wound up hired as an agent of his security detail. Seeing this as his way in, T took the job, being split from his brother in the process. Eventually his physicality got the attention of the promotion proper and he got signed on as a wrestler, occasionally teaming up with fellow Polynesians. Later, an old friend from Mexico who'd once saved his life in a knife fight and nicknamed him Camacho would call him up to come to the WWE Universe. After a brief run there, he traveled to Full Sail University's NXT brand, then to Impact Wrestling as an ally of Drew McIntyre's crusade against the aptly-named Beat Down Clan, before finally being given a phone call by his brother Tama to join him in Japan.

Needing a tag team partner to fill a void left behind by two good brothers who would be traveling to WWE, Tama enlisted T, the one man he trusted more than anyone else at the time. The reunited Guerrillas of Destiny would take over the heavyweight tag team role of the Bullet Club, reigning strongly over the ranks of New Japan's duos for the next several years to come while taking on a rough-and-tumble, grit-and-work mentality which combined athleticism, brutality, and obscene language even beyond what the original Good Brothers had done. T was also a key enforcer in helping Tama and fellow cousin Bad Luck Fale, two of the four founders of Bullet Club, to take the faction back from its state as a cash cow brand to another group with an entirely different mindset called The Elite and restore it to its original violent foundation. Strong, gritty, and steadfast, Tanga Loa is considered among the most dangerous men in the wrestling business. There's a reason they call him The Silverback.

This petite spitfire from the streets of New Jersey makes no secret of the fact that she prefers hot jeans and Chuck Taylors to wrestling boots, elaborate trunks or tights, and dresses of any kind. She got her start as an apprentice of Jay Lethal, later becoming his tag team partner and girlfriend while plying her trade at the Women Superstars Uncensored promotion. Sooner than later she would sign a contract to join Florida Championship Wrestling, where she became the first to win both the Queen of FCW crown and the FCW Divas Championship. Her climb up the ladder continued when she found herself as one of the up-and-comers selected for the third season of the rookie competition that was once NXT. She made it to third place in the contest, while meeting and becoming best friends with eventual winner Kaitlyn. Due to this friendship as well as her cutesy tomboyish demeanor standing out, she earned a place on WWE television alongside Kaitlyn, forming a tag team called The Chick Busters. However, things would take a turn for the worse when she formed a relationship with Daniel Bryan... right around the time of his first run as WWE's Classic World Heavyweight Champion.

Over the ensuing months, she fell in love with Bryan, while he became both increasingly full of himself and desperate to avoid the furious titanic pursuit of both Mark Henry and The Big Show after cashing in Money in the Bank to steal the title from under their feud. AJ would get run over by Big Show at one point during what was supposed to be a title match, while Kaitlyn tried to warn her that Bryan was using her to keep a hold on the championship, which caused friction in their duo. Ultimately, things fell apart after WrestleMania 28 when Bryan got kicked in the head and pinned by Sheamus ten seconds after exchanging a good luck kiss with AJ. Blaming her for the distraction, Bryan callously dumped her. This rejection triggered a bipolar switch in AJ. Constantly torn between love and hate, she intervened in Bryan's rivalry with Kane and CM Punk over the WWE Championship by emotionally toying with all three of them at the same time. Her friendship with Kaitlyn deteriorated as she always rejected The Hybrid Diva's concern, most times violently. This also led Bryan to propose to her... only for her to dump him at the altar, as she was appointed General Manager of Raw by Vince McMahon himself, and put him in a straightjacket which it turned out he had intended for her.

While she had become popular, she was also dangerously capricious with her newfound executive power. She forced Bryan and Kane to attend anger management classes, which led to the formation of Team Hell No; became one of several authorities forcing Punk to constantly battle John Cena; and used her managerial power to punish anyone who so much as said the word 'crazy' within earshot of her by putting them into lopsided match situations they had no hope of winning. The abuses of power became too much when she started physically attacking other women and openly dating Cena, forcing her to be deposed from power. She eventually got told off by Dolph Ziggler about her erratic behavior when she tried to stand up for Cena... and this rented enough space in her mind that she turned against Cena to help Ziggler retain his Money in the Bank briefcase at TLC 2012, becoming Ziggler's girlfriend in the aftermath and recruiting Big E Langston from FCW to act as their heavy. Around this time she ascended to the Trope Pantheon. Since then, especially after ascending, she's taken on anyone and everything who so much as looked at her the wrong way, especially if they so much as used the word 'crazy' in her presence whether referring to her or not, often attacking with the screaming fury of a banshee. This was especially true of Kaitlyn, who had become the Divas Champion. Before too long, AJ targeted Kaitlyn for the title, playing vicious mind games with help from Big E.

After defeating Kaitlyn and becoming champion, AJ would lose the support of both Dolph and Big E over the summer. Focusing squarely on the title after that point, she began verbally tearing apart every other female wrestler on the roster, accusing the entire cast of Total Divas, for example, of being more focused on fitting an image as ultra-feminine TV stars than honing their in-ring talent, all the while daring them to prove her wrong about being better than them. Few lived up to that challenge, one of them being Paige, who had set her sights on AJ even back when she was a part of the rebranded NXT developmental system, and goaded AJ into a title defense in order to take the belt from her in her WWE television debut. AJ would go back and forth with both Paige and the Bella Twins over the title in the ensuing year while also becoming married to CM Punk after his infamous walkout. Shortly after making peace with her 'frenemy' Paige, she retired from WWE to focus on her home life with Punk. Still, she's very much down for a scrap in the TWF, so don't call her crazy or she will rip your arms off and break your neck in a Black Widow. And in her time away from the squared circle, she and Kaitlyn became friends again, putting the two square in line for the Women's Tag Titles. For those who would scorn this spider, just be warned that love bites.

Being the best thing going in the professional wrestling industry did not come easy for this Dublin lass. Trained by a young Prince Devitt at the Fight Factory Pro Wrestling school back in its fledgling NWA days, Becky took a long road through the wrestling industry despite her mother's disapproval. Said road eventually saw her retire for years due to injuries, taking on a series of odd jobs including working as a flight attendant, going to clown school, and becoming a trained actress, before coming back alongside the Knight Dynasty, making her way back into the ring, and joining the NXT circuit hosted at Full Sail University. While initially the Irish jig she usually did in America was given a cold reception at Full Sail, she evolved past that and demonstrated herself as a cunning and determined grappler and submission specialist with a rocking edge, quickly earning the love of wrestling fans the world over. However, it was the numerous downfalls of a friendship with the daughter of Ric Flair which would eventually catapult Becky to superstardom.

Making it to global television together with Charlotte and reuniting with Paige in the process, Becky soon found herself blindsided and betrayed by the two's competitive egos. She was able to capture the women's championship at the WWE Universe following this rivalry when said title was split in two, only to lose it two months later and find herself hoodwinked by more and more treacherous friends and rivals in her attempts to get it back, spiraling lower and lower down the card each time. Still, "The Irish Lass Kicker" kept in good spirits, seemingly forgiving Charlotte after awhile and continuing to support her, all the while itching for her own chance to resurface. Unfortunately when said chance came it coincided with Charlotte's return from an injury, with Charlotte stealing the title out from under her right at what would've been her moment of glory. That night, she hit her point of no return, attacking Charlotte with the fury of a thousand suns and becoming a dangerous anti-heroine who would not sit back and allow others to step over her anymore.

At first she blatantly took to defensive audacity against anyone who questioned or wondered what she was doing, thinking the fans would all be against her. She quickly learned otherwise, as they refused to turn away from her no matter how audacious she got. Realizing this, she would come to embrace their love once more while declaring herself "The Man", her revolution garnering comparisons to the legendary attitude of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. Eventually, despite the efforts of Charlotte Flair and Vince McMahon himself, it was Becky who closed out the first ever female main event of WrestleMania by becoming the first to ever defeat Ronda Rousey in a wrestling ring, combining the two WWE Women's Championship titles to become the first ever TWF Women's Evolution Champion and earning her ticket into the Trope Wrestling Federation at the very top of the game. While Charlotte Flair took back the SmackDown title (only to lose it to Bayley not too long after), and Sasha Banks returned from a hiatus to become her biggest challenge for the Raw title, her biggest threat to the Evolution title turned out to be Shayna Baszler, who defeated her and Bayley at the Survivor Series event. At the first ever TWF-hosted WrestleMania in Pantheon Square, Becky sought to both defend Raw and reclaim Evolution from Baszler. She successfully did so, only to abdicate the titles after becoming pregnant with Seth Rollins' child.

Yet another shift in Becky's story would take place a year and a half later, when Lynch, now a mother, returned as a surprise replacement challenger for the SmackDown and Evolution titles, suckering champion Bianca Belair in order to beat her within seconds. At this point it became clear that something had changed with The Bad Lass, esepcially after she began ducking Bianca's challenge and calling herself Big Time Becks. While she held onto the championship all the way until Belair finally defeated her at the following WrestleMania, she "sold her soul" in her very own words to achieve this and lost the favor of the fans as a result.

    The Beautiful People

"Insert quote here!"
Angelina Love & Velvet SkyStraight from the halls of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (a rare feat for two gods to be from there), Angelina and Velvet strutted their way on a mission: making their temple the most gorgeous of all the Pantheon. Safe to say, most would agree that they have succeeded. Initially starting off as heels, the two later took advantage of their popularity and branched off to spread their beauty to all walks of life. This doesn't mean they are entirely nice either way, prone to viciously assaulting whatever foes they must take on to advance their cause in the ring, whether it's faces who annoy them or heels who directly cross them. Which of the two is more likely to take the forefront depends on who they're feuding with, as Angelina is the more heelish of the two while Velvet leans more towards the face side of things.

Formerly known as Angel Williams and Talia Madison, the two ladies first met at TNA as two of the inaugural competitors in its official female promotion after several years wrestling at smaller independent circuit promotions. Initially intending to compete solo, the two instantly took a shine to one another, creating their two ring names together as part of a vaguely adult-themed enterprise called "Velvet-Love Entertainment" aiming to combine sex appeal and fighting toughness. Being treated dismissively by other Impact Knockouts around them despite their best efforts to be good led them to embrace the hostility, taking on the Beautiful People moniker as well as a more aggressive mission — "cleansing the world, one ugly person at a time" — which dovetailed nicely with Angelina's ambitions of Knockout Championship succcess, and the expansion of their group to include other members such as Madison Rayne, Lacey Von Erich, and even Billy Gunn (under the name "Cute Kip").

Despite said expansion, Angelina and Velvet are the two standard bearers of the name and thus the two who ascended together. Both are former Knockouts Champions, with Angelina holding the title a record seven times, as well as incredibly popular with fans outside the most stringent purist circles, Velvet in particular being the most popular Knockout in Impact history due to her sexy tough attitude. Recently they've taken their wares to Ring of Honor, continuing their crusade of bringing sex appeal and character back to women's wrestling under the title of The Allüre, with yet another protégé in Mandy Leon.

Finn Devitt Bálor, Karl Anderson, Bad Luck Fale and Tama Tonga were all close friends from their days as the resident gaijin wrestlers at the New Japan Pro-Wrestling dojo, but for the most part were content to take separate paths through the top wrestling circuit in Japan. Both Devitt and Anderson reached high marks of success individually as well as within separate tag teams. However, over time the two best friends became increasingly frustrated with being unable to break through the upper echelon and actually gain championship success over the likes of Hiroshi Tanahashi and Kazuchika Okada. This ultimately led first Devitt and his bouncer Fale, then Anderson and Tama, to band together in the ring and bring in the dirty, rule-breaking, too-sweet influence of The Kliq into the shores of Japan.

Recruiting new members such as The Young Bucks, Luke Gallows fresh off his term as the "DOC" of Aces & Eights, and eventually, AJ Styles, the stable of "real shooters" began to run roughshod over the land, with Tanahashi, Okada, and Kota Ibushi barely able to stave off their charge for dominance. However, Devitt was chased out of Japan the same night Styles arrived by a combination of issues with his former tag team partner and the suspicious defiance of the Bucks. While Devitt went to America and traveled to Full Sail, introducing his "Demon King" alter-ego on the way to becoming the longest-reigning NXT Champion in history, Anderson and Styles co-captained Bullet Club to international superstardom. AJ would defeat Okada to bring them the top title in all of NJPW, the IWGP Heavyweight Championship, in his first match, then later go on to have another run with the belt by beating Tanahashi for it, while Anderson and Gallows as well as The Young Bucks would dominate the company's two tag team divisions. Fale at one point even captured the IWGP Intercontinental Championship from Nakamura.

Later, however, Styles was taken out by Kenny Omega, the ambitious Canadian Junior Heavyweight with visions of changing the world through wrestling, along with The Young Bucks. At first this vision seemed to be centered around NJPW and Bullet Club. However, the Kenny/Bucks trio, known as The Elite, would show in their exploits that it was less about The Club taking over NJPW and more about bringing in their friends from Ring of Honor and creating their own breakthough. Styles' exit from NJPW took him on a path straight to the WWE Universe, where he would soon be followed by Anderson and Gallows; Tama filled the tag team void left behind by the two in Japan by bringing in his brother Tanga Loa, reforming their duo as The Guerrillas of Destiny. Finn Bálor, whose term at NXT was successful, also took to WWE proper, where he defeated many top stars in quick order to become the first Universal Champion. The group in America would play nice in Vince McMahon's world, as Styles and Devitt traded turns teaming with The Good Brothers and even found themselves in a friendly exhibition match at one point which was deemed an instant classic.

At the same time, a recently-returned Young Lion from New Zealand named Jay White had rejected Omega's offer to join BC and instead signed on to Okada's CHAOS group. Despite his claims to hate Bullet Club for their fealty to Omega, White spent equal amounts of time needling BC's Elite faction and speeding up their implosion from within, as well as disrupting his own group from the inside supposedly in a bid to usurp Okada as its leader. These plans culminated in the main branch of Bullet Club removing The Elite and consolidating under the lead of Jay White and the Tongans, with White even scoring a number of wins over Omega, Okada, and Tanahashi as well as briefly capturing the IWGP Championship in the process. When the Trope Wrestling Federation was officially restructured, it soon became clear the boys were simply biding time: Styles instantly motioned to have Bálor, Anderson and Gallows join him, with Devitt taking the opportunity to bring in White and the Tongans while AJ, Gallows and Anderson built the brand of The OC. Eventually, Devitt even returned to NXT and brought his violent mean streak back in full force.

After The Club's failure to take down The Undertaker in his Boneyard Match with AJ Styles during the TWF Wrestle Mania at Pantheon Square, Anderson and Gallows would leave WWE and head to Impact Wrestling, before being courted by Kenny Omega and The Elite across Impact Wrestling and AEW. This created strife with Tama Tonga, who felt that The Good Brothers had sold out by rejoining links with Kenny; Jay along with several other BC members, including his first personal recruit and BC's first Forbidden brand affiliate member Chris Bey, would back this sentiment. However, once The Good Brothers' ties with The Elite wound down, agendas diverged behind the scenes, resulting in G.o.D. being removed from Bullet Club in order to bring back The Good Brothers. Furthermore, Styles and Devitt would align in WWE alongside Liv Morgan to take on the growing threat of Edge's Judgment Day faction, only for Devitt to link up with Judgment Day and turn them against Edge. Though AJ made it clear he felt betrayed by this move and even Anderson and White sent coded warnings to Devitt, The Prince seemed to take Judgment Day's focus away from targeting Styles for a while, before then trying to recruit him.

During this time, Anderson and White successfully hunted and acquired the NEVER Openweight and IWGP World Heavyweight Championships respectively, in addition to recruiting then-reigning Impact X-Division Champion Ace Austin. However, when Styles rejected his appeal, Bálor's recruiting effort turned aggressive, attacking AJ while demanding his allegiance. This set off The Club's alarm, especially Anderson and Gallows, breaking their neutral stance to return to WWE and have Styles' back as they engaged in turf warfare against The Judgment Day with full approval of Jay and the rest of the covenant, all the while Anderson still held the NEVER Championship.

While already among the very best in the world on their own, the brothers of this covenant bring a downright sinister level of danger whenever they align together, much like the members of The Kliq and its splinter groups before them. They are official (REAL). They are original (4 life). They are the only club that matters. They do and take whatever and whenever they want, and no one is safe. Trope Wrestling Federation, welcome to the Bullet Club.

In Consejo Mundial Lucha Libre, one of the top promotions in all of Mexico, a trio of luchadors who did not play by the honor codes of regular tecnicos but refused to be defined as rudos stepped forward and declared themselves to be "tecnicos diferentes". Rúsh (pronounced as "Roosh") and La Sombra, the two most hated men in CMLL's recent history, along with La Máscara, set the seeds to create the faction of rebels which would be internationally known as Los Ingobernables. Embracing the negative turned out to be the recipe that all three of them needed, gaining higher notoriety within the lucha world and winning championships along the way. While continuing to add members, the group unknowingly landed on a course to superstardom when they picked up another wrestler whose fans had rejected him, a rising star from New Japan Pro-Wrestling named Tetsuya Naito, and allowed him to stay with them for a time. Taught to embrace his inner selfish charisma by Los Ingobernables, Naito would return to Japan representing the Los Ingos brand and adopting a disrespectful slacker attitude to his in-ring approach.

After La Sombra lost his mask in a lucha de apuesta and was forced to reveal himself as Andrade "Cien" Almas, he and Rúsh began having issues with one another, leading to a match. Andrade lost, but the two made peace afterward; it turned out Andrade was leaving Mexico in order to redefine his identity elsewhere. Around the exact same time, Naito officially announced his own branch of the stable called Los Ingobernables de Japon, reaching into his connections to add more members. Ironically, Naito and the new LIJ became so hated that it turned around into love and they became more popular than the positive-minded "Stardust Genius" Naito ever was, increasing the notoriety of the Los Ingobernables brand as a whole. As for Andrade, he again tried to be a positive figure in NXT only to struggle through the promotion and be rejected by fans; only through connecting with Zelina Vega and once again embracing his inner troublemaker did he rediscover his winning ways. Both Naito and Andrade would obtain their promotions' top heavyweight championships.

Naito, with LIJ in New Japan, and Andrade, with Zelina in NXT and later main WWE, both maintained their loyalty and ties to the connection of Los Ingobernables all throughout their expansive futures. Rúsh branched outside of CMLL by establishing a foothold in Ring of Honor, then was let go and defected to Lucha Libre AAA, taking the Ingobernables label with him in both promotions as La Faccion Ingobernable. Naturally, the restructuring of the Trope Wrestling Federation was the perfect vehicle for the three to reunite under yet another Los Ingos banner, creating Los Ingobernables del Panteón. Hiromu Takahashi, the popular Junior Heavyweight member of LIJ who Naito has treated as a close little brother, brings his eccentric explosiveness into this version of the group as well. As far as Zelina, not only was she herself officially entered into LIP to continue her role in bolstering Andrade, she was able to bring in her distant "cousin" Sarah Stock, resuming their team-up from Total Nonstop Action Wrestling as Rosita and Sarita to serve as LIP's pareja femenina. This would fade in time due to Stock's nomadic lifestyle since becoming a free agent; however, she still occasionally appears in the TWF to support Vega. Zelina later formed a bond with Carmella as they became a tag team in WWE, and the beautiful New Yorker would soon be recognized among the faction's ranks, a position she still technically holds despite the team breaking down months later due to clashing priorities.

Andrade, meanwhile, left WWE and traveled to All Elite Wrestling using his connections with the Guerrero family, though he would soon sever those ties due to Chavo Guerrero's overzealous interference. As for Naito, he was unable to bring his own pareja, EVIL, into the TWF... but this was due to EVIL gaining his notability through betraying Naito and joining forces with Bullet Club. This betrayal would be avenged, but the group still has to deal with this thorn at their side both in NJPW and the TWF. Regardless, whether LIP will recapture the original notoriety of Los Ingos in Mexico and/or the international love garnered by LIJ is unclear, but what no one doubts is that these boys and girls are out to make their own mark, dancing to the uncontrolled cool flame of rebellion.
