Seven is the main protagonist of the series. An amnesiac who washes up on Chicken Island, Seven ends up recruited to be a hitman by the blue chicken Dai Bo and proves to be really bad at it. As the series goes on, elements of Seven's mysterious past resurface, leading to big issues.

  • Amnesiac Hero: Seven does not know who he is or how his world works but works for the good of the people of Chicken Island. He used to be a great assassin, but his injuries pre-series took away his memories and hence he can't remember who he used to be.
  • Beware the Silly Ones: Seven is a silly goofball and often gets injured in some hilarious ways but when he actually puts his mind to it, he's a legit threat able to best powerful foes with his mind and skills.
  • Butt-Monkey: Seven spends most of the first season being beaten and humiliated by anyone he fights. In the second season he becomes much more competent as he focuses on being the "island's strongest barber" rather than an assassin.

  • Combat Pragmatist : When he does win, it is usually through fighting dirty and tricking his opponents.
  • Defecting for Love: In the past, he defected from the Xuanwu assassins after they were ordered to kill a girl he had fallen in love with. He instead helped save her and instead made himself a target of the Xuanwu assassins. She ultimately betrayed him and left him for dead.
  • Hitman with a Heart: Seven initially has every intention of completing the mission at hand. However, when he learns of his would-be victims' circumstances, he decides to help them get through their problems instead.
  • I Just Want to Be Normal: Pre-amnesia Seven was a ruthless assassin and killer, but after losing his memory, he doesn't want to be one any more. While talking to his original self, Seven reveals that his main goal is to be just a normal barber with his friends, but discovers that his destiny to be a great assassin is trying to prevent his dream of normalcy.
  • Kick the Dog: Seven fails at killing a kitten and even gets mauled by it.
  • Master Swordsman: In the past, Seven was able to wield the sword known as the Thousand Demon Daggers, which requires expert mastery of the blade. The Thousand Demon Daggers is a sword constructed from various pieces of metal which can be broken apart and used individually as projectile weapons.

  • Superpowered Evil Side: At times, Seven can tap into his old assassin personality and allow it to take over, allowing him to demolish any opponent. It's played with, in that his old assassin personality is his original personality before getting amnesia.
  • This Is Something He's Got to Do Himself: After the Xuanwu start escalating attacks on the civilians of Chicken Island to get to Seven, Seven decides it's best to leave the island by himself. His plan is to kill the head of the Xuanwu to put an end to this and to not endanger anyone else, sets out on a journey to Xuanwu by himself.
