The Trope Pantheon has known war almost since it's inception, with the rise of different alliances causing strife and destruction. First the forces of good and evil made war, then with the Great Upheaval came the Forever War of law and chaos. The forces of destruction and machine supremacy followed, further casting the pantheon into an uncertain state.
However there were gods that grew tired of the endless fighting, tired of the devastation these warring factions brought. Good gods who believed they should focus more on keeping the peace than specifically targeting evil. Evil gods who's goals coincide with a less war-torn pantheon, or at least felt forcing a balance was more advantageous than straight-up villainy. Those who value nature, and those who simply seek a less war-torn and chaotic pantheon. This was the motivation behind founding the Grand United Alliance Of Preservation.
Founded by the Earth Mother Gaea, the GUAP's motives are to preserve life and nature, to ensure balance. It is a fundamentally neutral goal, though many gods have more personal ambitions that require Preservation. Uniquely, it has no interest in competition with the other alliances since the point is to clean up the mess the competing alignments have caused and prevent too much damage. They are neither friend nor foe to the other alliances, with one exception: the GUAD. Simply put, preservation and destruction are completely antithetical to one another.
In Cyberspace, the color of the Tron Lines for deities aligned with the GUAP is white.
Divisions
- Preservation Council: The leaders of the GUAP and its factions.
- Anti-Destruction Patrol: The direct combatants of the Grand United Alliance of Destruction and those who try to prevent general destruction.
- Nurturers: Guardians of the order of things, who help protect or heal nature in general.
- Hired Guardians: Those who serve the GUAP for their own agendas, often still having ties to other alliances.
