The Grand United Alliance Of Preservation is not one to make enemies, as it was founded to be the neutral force that kept other alliances in check. However there is one alliance who's goals are so completely opposed to them that a faction had to be formed just to stop them; the Grand United Alliance of Destruction. A group who's primary motivation is the end of all life is bound to be opposed by everyone else, but the GUAP more than any.
This faction was founded and led by the Life Entity, with the minimum goal being the destruction of the GUAD and maximum being the permanent elimination of Nekron from the physical realm. It is considered the most heroic organization within the alliance, but be warned as some can get a bit too extreme. It's not only the omnicidal that are targeted, but those unfortunate enough to be incredibly destructive yet good-natured.
This faction can be found in a gigantic White Lantern floating in orbit, where it is always light. It is led by the Life Entity.
The White Lantern Corps
The Life Entity, God of Life Energy (The Entity, The White Lantern, Life, The Trespasser)

- Alignment:
True Neutral - The progenitor of all life in the DC Universe, the Life Entity is the arch-enemy to Nekron as it is the Cosmic Keystone of life. Nekron exists to oppose the light, and the Life Entity refuses to let all it has brought into the universe be snuffed out.
- Reason for joining: To bring an end to Nekron and his forces
- Dedication to preservation: High. He helped Gaea with the organization so as to stop the GUAD, and is the embodiment of life
- Threat to the GUAD: Medium-high by itself. Extremely high with a host.
Kyle Rayner, God of Shaping Your Attacks (Green Lantern 2814.2, Ion, Parallax, Oblivion)
- Greater God (formerly Intermediate as a Green Lantern), Overdeity as Ion
- Symbol: His "crab mask", with the White(formerly Green) Lantern symbol
- Alignment: Neutral Good
- Reason for joining: To put an end to Nekron and the Grand United Alliance of Destruction
- Loyalty to the Preservation Council: High, though his loyalties mostly lie in the Anti-Destruction Patrol
- Threat to the GUAD: Medium-high as a Green Lantern, very high as a White Lantern and extreme as Ion.
Anti-Destruction Patrol
Ra, King of Gods (Re, Amun-Ra, Re-Horakhty, Khnum, Raet-Tway, Lord of Ma'at, Sun God, El, The World's Buffest, Most Gorgeous Grandpa)
- Greater God
- Symbol: The sun disc
- Alignment: Lawful Good, occasionally leaning to Lawful Neutral
- Reason for joining: To ensure that the sun never goes out, and slay Apophis once and for all
- Loyalty to the Preservation Council: Very high. In both the original myth and now, his mission statement is to protect the world.
- Threat to the GUAD: Very high. Ra's the king of the Egyptian gods, master of the sun and can fight Apophis the whole night.
Gowasu, He Who Doesn't Understand Evil (Gowas, Supreme Kai of Universe 10)
- Greater God
- Symbol: A golden fruit with "10" on it
- Alignment: Lawful Good
- Reason for joining: To stop the madness of Merged Zamasu and his ilk, and to serve his role as the God of Creation
- Loyalty to the Preservation Council: Medium. Gowasu has a non-interference, and while he works to preserve and develop his universe he is careful not to go too far. After all, Zamasu's Face–Heel Turn was in part him wanting to get too involved with mortals.
- Threat to the GUAD: Medium. He's far outclassed by gods of destruction, but he's still pretty powerful compared to most mortals and very knowledgeable.
