    Juke's Towers of Hell
A Roblox tower-styled obstacle course made by Jukereise. Each tower has 10 floors you have to beat.

Juke's Tropes of Hell contains:

  • Abnormal Ammo: The turrets in some towers use giant neon spheres as ammo.
  • Achievement System: The game tracks what and how many towers you've beaten based on what achievements you have gotten from beating towers. This is also the reason why the game takes so long to load if you've played it for the first time, because the game is counting the achievements you've gotten.
  • Artifact Title: This game used to be called Kiddie's Towers of Hell, and the name is be referenced in some old videos of the game as KToH.
  • Ascended Glitch: Most, if not all, of the Roblox obby glitches can be found throughout the towers. There's even a warning at the portal frame if there are glitches required to beat the tower.
  • Bottomless Pits: Ring 1 has "The Pit of Die." Wonder what happens if you fall down there...
  • Built with LEGO: All the towers are made with the stud texture, which gives the impression of an old-fashioned Roblox obby.
  • Death Course: Some of the towers have killbricks, which do a little bit of damage, unlike in some other obbies where the killbricks actually kill you instantly. These killbricks are used in some towers.
  • Difficult, but Awesome: Most towers have shortcuts. Some of them skip a huge portion of the tower, but are very risky to do. For example, in Tower of Overcoming Hatred in Ring 2, there is a skip at the very beginning of floor 2 that skips the whole floor. But if you fail the skip, you fall back to floor 1.
  • Early-Installment Weirdness: Tower of Screen Punching was the second-ever tower in the game. But unlike any other tower, it has 9 floors. It did get a 10th floor in an update, but has since been dropped down to 9 again.
  • Effortless Achievement: Some of the towers are so easy, in the difficulty chart, they are literally called "Effortless."
  • Floating Continent: The whole of Ring 1 is a bunch of giant floating islands used to hold the towers and the lobby.
  • Fun with Acronyms: Some of the towers are purposefully named so that when you pronounce the shortened name, it sounds like a real word. Some towers that have this property are Tower of Annoyingly Simple Trials, Tower of Winning Every Run, Tower of Wanting Extra Levels, Tower of Requiring Critical Help, and the removed Tower of One Equals Zero. Please explain the joke
  • Game-Breaking Bug: Some towers used to be able to be skipped so much that the developers patched the skips. In the game's community, those skips are called "cheeses."
  • Guide Dang It!: Some of the towers are so confusing, players have to watch a video completing the tower to even get a chance of beating it.
  • Healing Factor: There are some items that heal you, such as the Trail Mix of Hecc (which you can buy from the game's store), the Crystal (which you can get by beating Arcane Area) and the Grass (which you used to get from the Spring 2019 event).
  • The Many Deaths of You: There are many, MANY ways to fall when you're trying to beat a tower. You can also die via killbricks if you touch too many of them.
  • No Plot? No Problem!: Most towers in this game have no story at all, just gameplay, and maybe a few gimmicks.

Pat is a Minecraft YouTuber with his friend Jen.

Pat contains examples of:

  • Abandoned Hospital: In the Crafting Dead series, early on, they go into one.
  • Arc Words: "Kill them all" in the Crafting Dead.
  • Meaningful Name: Bomby really likes TNT and explosions.
    • A few times, Pat joked she was named Jen because she's Jen-erous.
  • Weaksauce Weakness: Jen's number one weakness? Holes.

     obby creator
Obby Creator is a game in Roblox where you can create and play user-generated obstacle courses.

This Roblox game contains examples of:

  • Ascended Glitch: Some glitches are acknowledged by the developer and decided to leave them in.
    • A glitch with the speed pad allows you to move really fast outside of an obby.
    • You can bypass the money limit by building a huge block to sell for later so that you are less than the money limit. Then you can sell the huge block for lots of money, which also puts you over the money limit, which disables money generation.
  • Exactly What It Says on the Tin: Obby Creator lets you and others make obbies.
  • Nintendo Hard: Some people have created really difficult obstacle courses that require the use of the Shift Lock Switch and various glitches to pass.

Trivia:

  • Ascended Fanon: Most updates to the game first started life as a suggestion in the community.
  • Word of God: mario118118, the creator of this game, said that he knows about the speed pad glitch [note] a glitch where you can touch a speed pad in an obby while you're outside of that obby[/note] and he's not going to patch it.

YMMV:

  • It's Hard, So It Sucks!: The reaction of most new players when they see an obby they can't complete.
  • It's Popular, Now It Sucks!: Veterans of Obby Creator miss the old days for various reasons.
    • One of which is how easy you could become featured. [note]You have to be in the top 1000 most popular obbies in the leaderboard to be featured. There are four featured obbies per server, and they refresh every 15 minutes, which means your obby has a 1/250 chance of appearing every 15 minutes. [/note] In the old days, you only needed 100 likes to get featured. Ever since Obby Creator made it to the front page, it's been getting thousands of players at one time, meaning more players play and create obbies. As of July 12, 2020, you have to have 2000 likes to get in featured.
    • There was also much less people in the Obby Creator Discord, which meant they could talk to the creator of Obby Creator, mario118118, personally.

This is gonna be epic!
"This experience made me realize that... I'm only really at my best when I'm with you."
Pat to Jen when they're together again.
PopularMMOs Presents: Enter The Mine is the second graphic novel in the PopularMMOs series of books.

When Pat and Jen from PopularMMOs escaped from the underworld and settled down with their pet Bomby; their cat, Cloud; and one hundred friendly zombies, they thought their adventuring days were over. But since their return, mysterious new holes have appeared—and more and more of their friends have disappeared!

After Jen stumbles into one of the holes, she ends up imprisoned deep within an ore mine by a ruthless villain with a sinister plot—Evil Jen! Pat, of course, rushes in to try to help and winds up getting captured too. Their only chance of survival is to find their friends, stop Evil Jen, and escape from the depths of the mine— before it's too late.

This graphic novel contains examples of:

  • Action Prologue: This graphic novel begins with Pat, Jen, and Bomby saving the villagers from the zombies.
  • An Aesop: If you work together, it'll work out.
  • Bad "Bad Acting": Whenever Jen tries to pose as Evil Jen to distract the zombies.
  • Calling Your Attacks: Boulder calls out his attacks when he's fighting the zombies at the beginning of the book.
  • Captain Obvious: Whevever Jen fell in one of the bridge's holes, Boulder points it out.
  • Chekhov's Gun:
    • Jen's ability to look like Evil Jen by making her lips red.
    • The Reality Key when it gets taken by the zombie with the red jacket.
    • The gum Jen finds in the fort is used to distract the zombies and turn her back into look-alike Evil Jen.
  • Collapsing Lair: When Valentine sets up the explosion chain reaction that leads to the big pile of Boomium.
  • Companion Cube: The broom Jen finds in the fort. Who turns out to be Evil Pat.
  • Crazy Enough to Work: When Pat wants to go toward the Boomium that's currently exploding in order to escape.
  • Diving Save: Pat saves Carter by diving in front of the zombie.
  • Enemy Mine: How Jen works with Hoss and Valentine.
  • Dynamic Entry: When Jen enters the secret fort in the desert.
  • Kick Them While They Are Down: Valentine wacks the zombies with the broom after they surrender. Jen calls him out on that.
  • Let's Split Up, Gang!: This graphic novel shows you why this doesn't work as a strategy. At the very end, the reason why the Reality Key wasn't working was because Pat and Jen weren't together.
  • Literal-Minded:
    • Bomby whenever Pat didn't say "one" during his count on three.
Pat: Bomby, now! What're you waiting for?
      Bomby: [shrugs]
Pat: Are you being serious right now? Since when are you a stickler for the details?
    • Hoss grabs Jen's broom and smashes the entire control panel whenever she tells him to "smash it all" on the control panel.
  • MacGuffin: The Reality Key. It only works if both Pat and Jen are together.
  • Meaningful Name: Bomby likes to explode stuff whenever he can.
  • Now What?: Jen wonders what they will do after they have defeated Evil Jen.
  • Pokémon Speak: All that Honey Boo Boo can say is her name.
  • Poor Communication Kills: What drives the main plot of the story. Pat goes temporarily deaf and thinks that Jen should take a break and he goes to the underworld by himself. Pat took Jen's silence as a "yes".
  • Mid-Battle Tea Break: Whenever Jen attacks Valentine with his soup.
  • Running Gag: The Mayor thinks he's the person in charge when he's clearly not.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here:
    • Jen and Boulder do this after Pat tells them to open the portal at ground level.
    • When Pat tries to escape from the mine.
    • Hoss when he abandons Jen after he destroys the mechanism that powers the electric fence around the mine.
  • Sadistic Choice: In the form of a hypothetical question presented by Hoss which asks if Valentine would rather save Hoss or Bob in a sinking ship.
  • The Silent Bob: Bomby, to the point where everyone that knows him can converse with him.
  • Third-Person Person: Valentine refers to himself in third-person when he is introduced.
  • Too Desperate to Be Picky: Jen says this when she gets "hangry" and finds some stale cookies and gum.
  • We Need a Distraction: Pat attempts this when he tries to escape from the mine.
  • Wham Line: Evil Jen calls Herobrine "father" during their conversation while he was still in the painting.
  • Wham Shot: Evil Jen catches on to a fence after falling and sees Evil Pat (the broom).

     tiny heist
"Released in the last hour of 2016, I present: Tiny Heist! Scale the tower, avoid patrol bots and reach the rooftop with as many gems as you can find!"
Terry Cavanagh in his blog.
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tiny_heist.png
Don't alert the guards.
Tiny Heist is a combination of a Stealth-Based Game, a Roguelike, and a turn-based game where the goal is to escape the tower while collecting as many gems as possible. In order to progress to the next floor, you need to find and go to the staircase at the end of each level. The guards and cameras are looking for intruders, though... If they find you, they'll know that you're an intruder and try to kill you.

Play the game here.

This game provides examples of:

  • Action Bomb: The sleeping bombs near the end of the tower. If you get caught by a camera or wake them up, then they will explode and you will take damage.
  • Another Dimension: The Error Dimension.
  • Anti-Frustration Features: If you have one heart left, then the game will put a First Aid Kit in the next floor. If there's a shopkeeper on the next floor, then they will also sell you a First Aid Kit.
  • Artificial Brilliance: The patrol bots. Whenever they are chasing you, if there's two paths for them to go through, they will split up to try and get you, which in some cases can trap you between them, leaving you with nowhere other options but to go but through them and take damage.
  • Awesome, but Impractical: The Pistol. It has four shots and can instantly kill your target. However, the whole floor will be alerted of your presence and the alarm will sound as though you walked in the view of a camera.
  • Blatant Lies: The Matchstick's description. It is not safe to use at all.
  • Blow You Away: The Leaf Blower. It blows your enemies away and stun them.
  • Boring, but Practical: The Banana. It can be used in place of a key to get through locked doors, stun a guard when he's chasing you, block the entrance so that nothing can spawn, and is one of the only ways to stun Rooks.
  • Bragging Rights Reward: The rank you get if you escape the tower. The more gems you collect, the higher the rank you get at the end.
  • Breather Episode: If you complete the last level of the purple floors, the next floor is a green bonus room that has no enemies. A shopkeeper offers you keys to unlock locked doors that have items in them. If you already have keys though, you don't have to pay to get extra keys.
  • Catch-22 Dilemma: Because all the floors are randomly-generated, some of them can end up becoming this trope. For example, if the only way out is with a key, and the key is inside the locked door room. The only way out of this situation is to either have a spare key with you, use an item that is useful in that situation, or just reset.
  • Challenge Run:
    • Hard mode note  makes enemies much harder, making all guards and cameras able to fire lasers at you, their stunned cooldown is less, enemies spawn faster, there's no shopkeepers to sell you anything, and keys are more expensive.
    • You can refuse to collect any gems at all for a different ending.
  • Common Place Rare:
    • The Portable Door. It only spawns in the later levels, is rarer than most other items, and is disguised as a door so you can't find it easily.
    • The Fire Extinguisher. If you somehow manage to find it, you are holding one of the best weapons in the game.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: If you get caught by the camera and there's a lot of guards present. Especially if you don't have any items. Good luck trying to survive the fierce and destructive attack that is the millions of guards rushing against you.
  • Dummied Out: If you look in the game's files note , then you can find a spritesheet that has all of the game's sprites in it, including unused ones such as a sad shopkeeper, arrows, a cube, an envelope, and a whole font. People have discussed this spritesheet here.
  • Easter Egg: The Error Dimension. It doesn't have a name in-game, so the Error Dimension is a fan given name because of the "Error" items you get in there.
  • Elite Mook:
    • The Elite Bots. Not only do they have laser vision, but they also know exactly where you are in the level and will take the shortest path to get you.
    • The Terminators. They are the better, more powerful versions of the Elite Bots. Not only do they behave like the Elite Bots, but they have shields so you can't get them, and cardboard boxes don't work against them. Since they can't be stunned by normal means, they will team up and most likely completely overwhelm and defeat you.
  • The End of the World as We Know It: You can cause this to the floor you're on if you have a Matchstick. The fire will spread everywhere and through the whole floor, which means if you're not close to an exit, then the fire you caused will get you.
  • Everything Trying to Kill You: If the enemies see you, they will take the smartest and quickest moves to get to you. If you want your life, you better not let them see you... The Terminators, Elite Bots, and Rooks already know where you are.
  • Flash Step: Using either the Skateboard or Sword will make you hit the nearest wall in front of you in one turn.
  • Foregone Conclusion:
    • If you get to the later floors and find three stationary question marks in a line, then you can tell it's a vault with an item and two gems inside.
    • Similarly, in the later floors, if there's four moving question marks with a stationary question mark in the middle, then you have stumbled upon a rare item, with the challenge being four guards that are guarding the item in question.
  • Fragile Speedster: The player. They can travel 2x as fast as the enemies and can use items, like the Skateboard, to travel across the room. But the player can only take three hits, while the enemies can be stunned, but they will always come back, unlike the player.
  • Good Bad Bugs:
    • If you have a banana with you, and if you can place it at the exact location a locked door is, then the banana will take its place, making the locked door disappear.
    • If you beat the game and start over, you will be invincible and no guard can hurt you. You can go on a rampage and keep letting the guards spawn over and over and you still wouldn't be damaged. This bug only occurs in the first floor, though.
    • Sometimes, you can go through a sentinel's ray and it won't detect you. If you are skilled enough to know the patterns in which you can go through without being caught, then you can use this to your advantage.
  • Guide Dang It!:
    • Nowhere in the game does it tell you that when you buy from the shopkeeper, you get an extra key with the item you purchased.
    • You can keep enemies from waking up after being stunned by waiting on top of the stunned enemy. Doing this makes it so that as long as you're standing on top of them, the timer that counts down before a stunned enemy wakes up will pause.
    • In order to access hard mode, you need to break through a wall, then reenter the tower.
  • Heroic Mime: The player character never speaks once in the whole game. This is a stealth game after all...
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: If you place a Matchstick and forget about it. Good luck surviving the massive fire that you caused.
  • Infinity +1 Sword:
    • The Fire Extinguisher. Not only does it have 6 uses, the most of any item, but it also covers a wide range when you use it, knocking out everyone in the area. It also doesn't alert anybody, unlike the Pistol or the Bomb.
    • The Error. When used, it explodes in a 5x5 circular area and fills that area with glitches. There is a small chance that one of the things exploded by the Error is the exit, which you can go into and complete the floor.
  • Kill It with Fire: the Matchstick allows you to burn enemies with fire.
  • Nintendo Hard: The Error Dimension. Most of it is randomly generated, therefore based on luck, so if you somehow beat it, you are considered one of the best players of Tiny Heist.
  • No Name Given: The player character's name is never given in the game.
  • Not the Intended Use:
    • The Fire Extinguisher can put out fires, but you can use it to stun guards, dogs, and cameras.
    • The Banana can be used to block the entrance so that the guards don't spawn on the floor you're in.
  • Minus World: The Error Dimension. In order to even access it, you need to have at least two barrier-destroying items with you, then break out of a wall in order to fall outside the tower. From there, you need to go far enough where there's a fire lake and use an extinguisher to extinguish the fires. After that, use a barrier-breaking item to destroy the wall, walk through, and find a staircase.
  • Only in It for the Money: Your goal is to collect as many gems as possible while not alerting the guards. Averted if you complete the game with no gems. The game will give you a rank of 0 and will tell you you're "not in it for the money."
  • Reset Button: Press R to reset and start at the first floor again.
  • Retraux: The game's graphics and sound has an 8-bit style.
  • Sarcasm Mode: If you find a Matchstick and read the description. "Probably completely safe to use."
  • That One Level:
    • The final stages. Not only do you have the toughest, most difficult enemies chasing after you. By the way, there's living bombs.
    • The Error Dimension. Good luck trying to not only survive the randomly changing entities, but also the traps this place often puts you in, leaving you with a Unwinnable state.
  • Unwinnable: Sometimes, the game throws an impossible scenario at you: There is a locked door when there are no keys, the cameras pointing at such a direction that it's impossible to bypass, too many guards in a room, a key in a room with a locked door, etc.
  • Zerg Rush: The strategy the guards are trying to use against you. This can happen in game if there's a lot of guards present and they're all after you.

We win these!

"If you wish to defeat me, train for another 100 years!"
Technoblade to Skeppy.

Technoblade is a Minecraft YouTuber known for playing Hypixel Skywars, Bedwars and PvP in general while commentating about his life.

Technoblade was in Minecraft Monday, a $10,000 Minecraft competition based on winning minigames. Because of this event, he has the [PIG+++] rank in Hypixel for winning four times. note Minecraft Monday is also one of the main reasons why he is famous. He has also played in Minecraft Championship and won. He started a potato war with im_a_squid_kid, the former first place in potatoes, on Hypixel Skyblock after he took over his spot. He is currently number one in potatoes. He has the record for the highest winstreak in Hypixel Bedwars (1818 wins in a row) He also beat Minecraft's Hardcore mode with a steering wheel.

Technoblade also has a second channel that doesn't upload as often.

Technoblade provides examples of:

  • Epic Fail:
    • The whole of "skeppy tries to troll me but i troll him first". In the first part of the video, Technoblade gets trolled by Skeppy's cursed Minecraft world. Next, in Skeppy's custom map, Technoblade trolls Skeppy in his own map, stunts including jumping on the decorations of the wall to completely skip the level, using an Ender Pearl to go outside the map and find a village, and purposefully dying after Skeppy teleports him back so that he can go to the checkpoint at the end.
    • Minecraft Monday when it got hacked, forcing him to play with his friends on Hypixel.
  • Exact Words: He says the Pigman Sword from Hypixel Skyblock is the deadliest because it made the most things dead.note  The strongest weapon only had one thing dead in comparison.
  • Flaw Exploitation: During the second Potato War video, Technoblade realized, after some investigative journalism, that im_a_squid_kid (his opponent), was having exams in college. He then used this information to his advantage by working as fast as possible and hiring goons to help with collecting all the items needed, all while his opponent was having exams.
  • Flawless Victory: He once got a perfect game in Hypixel Bedwars (getting every team's bed and killing everyone).
  • The Reveal: At the end of his 1 million subscriber special video, he finally reveals his elbow.
  • Running Gag:
    • People in his livestreams telling him his "mic is muted".
    • Him saying "It was all part of my master plan."
  • Schedule Slip: He doesn't have a consistent upload schedule for his YouTube channel, and when he does upload, it's usually a month or two before he makes another video.
  • The Stinger: At the end of his videos, he tells the viewers to click on the other videos, but if they stick around long enough, he usually says something else to them.
  • Take Over the World: He took over the entire world of SMP Earth by realizing that he only needed to circle around the territory he wanted instead of going through the whole area of it. He, with his teammate Ph1lza, controlled nearly all of the SMP Earth world and then when they were sent to the court, convinces the entire court that it was perfectly okay, and then tells them to get off his property (reminder: the entire world). The court decided that Technoblade (or anyone else) would not be allowed to take over the entire of SMP Earth again.
