Everything: Gaiden v2 is the successor to Everything Gaiden under a new GM, which though possessing few changes to the original has quickly developed to a rather different game.
The premise remains the same: Random characters from unrelated worlds end up in an unfamiliar realm. However, the integration of a ruleset and abolition of the plot ban has resulted in a more plot-friendly environment.

This game shows examples of:
- Aerith and Bob: Ellen, None, Fuuka, Louie, Lizzie and Cheru are all examples of names from the game.
- Alien Geometries: Marie's dance club, Club 404, is located on 'the fifth corner of X Street and Y Avenue'. On the other hand, her psychiatry business is somewhere completely different, in a perfectly normal building... and her office/home is connected directly to both of them.
- Taken Up To Eleven when Marie activated 'Warp 404', causing the entire place to have a date with Escher.
- Our Angels Are Different: In Louie's world, angels are divine bees of light and seraphim are giant six-winged bees of burning radiance.
- Animated Armor: Knight-Class Contructs.
- Archaic Weapon for an Advanced Age: Though in some cases, they are only archaic in comparison to the weapons of other worlds.
- Risa has a pick in a futuristic universe, and None uses a bow, in a Schizo Tech universe leaning towards the futuristic.
- Badass Normal: Jim, a courier from a post apocalyptic world, does not have any abilities and has very low Special Attack.
- Risa, an wandering entertainer from a futuristic world, lacks any abilities and has no Special Attack at all.
- Miranda, despite her Super-Strength, is largely this, particularly considering she comes from The Roaring '20s and thus doesn't get so many chances to use her Charles Atlas Superpower.
- Captain Ersatz: Eldon Jaeger was originally supposed to be Eren Jaeger. Yes, that Eren Jaeger. Elf decided that they should be named differently, though.
- Clockwork Creature: Ellen is, to an extent.
- The Commandments: A meta-example in The Decalogue which is designed to handle lore conflicts.
- Enhanced Archaic Weapon: Or in other cases, the sword is a necrotic, soul-stealing blade, the scythe withers all it strikes and the anthame summons seraphim.
- Fragile Speedster: Gaston. He relies on evading and parrying attacks to survive, as he has a low Physical Defense.
- Gaiden Game: Zigzagged. A majority of characters come from established settings (Twilight Academy, alternate universes to Rise of the Magic Girls, what is implied to be Fallout and Starbound), but there is still a significant amount of characters from original settings.
- Gender Bender: Ori promptly transformed into a male as soon as Dany informed her he is gay.
- Genre Shift: This possesses far fewer characters than the original and more of a plot focus, resulting in a more traditional structure.
- The fewer characters bit is subverted with ElfCollaborator's entrance into the game.
- Glass Cannon: Eina, None and technically, Fuuka.
- Gradual Grinder: Ellen, to a lesser extent, Annabelle
- The former specializes in applying poisons and debuffs.
- The latter's magic heats objects to a point where their function is disrupted.
- Andon's Schmerzgeist also has elements of this with Aspect: Obsession and Aspect: Delirium.
- Hardboiled Detective: Miranda.
- Hard Work Hardly Works: Vehemently averted by Miranda, who tries to drill averting this into Luke as well.
- Gaston encourages this as his family's motto.
- Healing Hands: Merlin, Kyle's Persona has Diarama, a healing spell.
- None's sound magic affinity is healing.
- Knight in Shining Armor: Played with in the case of Graham, who although is certainly honorable, doesn't mind acting as a bandit and dislikes the obligations and alienation his title brings.Graham: "When I was a squire, I thought knights would fight dragons and slay giants. All we do is play chess and occasionally talk about horses and kiss the king's ass."
- Gaston is a straighter example.
- Lampshade Hanging:
- After Sarah saves Lorenzo from thugs:
Sarah: "Sorry, I'm not so good at this 'hero' and 'first responder' thing." - Laser Blade: Ellen is equipped by one, though judging by its effects, it may not be anything remotely related to a laser.
- Limit Break: Ellen can only perform Bodies Upon the Gears or Zero Day on an enemy with at least one of her counters on them.
- Gaston's Blade Dance and Eina's Blizzard are straighter examples.
- Loads And Loads Of Characters: Damn it, Elf.
- Mage Marksman: Annabelle uses heat magic and powerful revolvers.
- Mega City: Time-Space Administration Bureau-Administered Metropolis, or Outland City, or whatever you want to call it.
- Moment Killer: Miranda barged in to arrest Dany when he and Ori were flirting in Bar 404 just before it went somewhere. Cue Ori turning into a monster to fight Miranda and Dany deciding to flee.
- One-Steve Limit: Averted with Elizabeth (Lizzy) and Lizzie.
- Eldon Jaeger and Dany Jaeger have basically nothing in common with each other. Different players, different species, totally different abilities, totally different personalities.
- Power-Up Mount: Destrier, Graham's warhorse is this.
- Private Detective: Miranda
- "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Sarah and Titan give one of these to Lorenzo after he reacts poorly to them saving his life. They don't do it that well. Gaston promptly delivers a much straighter and more competent example.Sarah: "I normally lecture on calculus, not behavior, but understand this. Unlike you, I am an adult and have been trying to act mature. Something that is very difficult when you have the nerve to...to...!"Sarah: "...That."
- Shout-Out: Numerous. So far,
- Sinister Scythe: Lizzie's Death Scythe.
- The Six Stats: Subverted, during planning a similar system was considered but due to how vastly different the uses of stats between characters was, a five stat system with more names that reflected combat purpose rather than character traits (Physical Attack, Physical Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense and Agility/Dexterity).
- Slice of Life: Remains as one though shows signs and potential of developing a plot.
- The various characters working in Club 404 with Ori gone and Marie busy.
- Standard Status Effects: Adhered to with varying degrees. Stun works as per normal, Berserk seems to be more controlled and Poison has additional effects that include CNS damage, liver damage, coma and cancer.
- The bleeding wounds inflicted by the Geist when in Aspect: Delirium mode act closer to the typical poison effect. Burning is also a status effect inflicted by the Geist.
- Stone Wall: All of Louie's stat points are in defense, he can only counterattack.
- Summon Magic: Kyle's Persona.
- Also, Andon's Schmerzgeist.
- Sword and Sorcerer: To some strange degree at least. Lizzie summons two undead minions to attack a lich whilst Graham breaks into his house and flanks him.
- Universal Poison: Averted, there are currently four different types of poison each with their own counter and with their own unique effects.
- Vast Bureaucracy: The Time-Space Administration Bureau, which governs the main city (working title of Outland City, or TSAB-Administered Metropolis). While largely made up of decent people as a whole, they can be conveniently neutralized via infighting or paperwork.
