Music
- Frank Zappa referenced the piece a lot in his music too. "Amnesia Vivace", "Invocation & Ritual Dance of the Young Pumpkin" (Absolutely Free), "Fountain of Love" (Cruising with Ruben & the Jets) and "In-a-Gadda-Stravinsky" (Guitar) directly quote from it. "The Return of the Son of Monster Magnet" from Freak Out has a thematic reference in one of the movement titles: "Ritual Dance of the Child-Killer".
- The Post-Hardcore/emo band Rites of Spring named themselves after this piece.
- The SiIvaGunner rip Time Gate - Chrono Trigger is a full-length remake of the ballet's music, with each segment recreated with a different SNES soundfont.
- A recording of the final section of the score was used on the Voyager Golden Record, sent in space in 1977.
- The Colecovision port of Frenzy, the sequel to Berzerk, plays part of either the "introduction" or "Augers of Spring" as the game starts, and part of "Glorification of The Chosen One" is looped at Game Over.
