- Batman: Wayne Family Adventures: The shot of Damian and Duke undertaking Lessons in Sophistication is a reference to a similar scene in The Princess Diaries.
- Q-Force: Princess Mira of Gyenorvya is a direct lift from Princess Mia from The Princess Diaries, and uses Mia's signature "Shut up!" line.
- South Park: In the episode "The List" there is a Shout-Out to numerous films with an "ugly duckling" makeover. Notably, The Princess Diaries features a girl with dark-rimmed glasses and fluffy hair similar to the episode. It didn't work as well in this episode, of course.
