Film

  • Crooklyn has a scene where the kids sing along to "I Woke Up In Love This Morning" while watching TV.
  • In Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules, after Susan imagines the Heffleys starting a family band, Greg has an Imagine Spot where the Heffleys (who are dressed in bright, 70s clothing) play instruments and dance to "Come On Get Happy".
  • An Extremely Goofy Movie: While taking his midterm exam after getting into a fight with Max, Goofy dozes off and has a psychedelic, 70's-inspired dream set to "Come On Get Happy".
  • In Four Weddings and a Funeral, Charles says, "In the words of David Cassidy in fact, while he was still with the Partridge Family, I think I love you."
  • The Spirit of '76: When Adam-11 (played by David Cassidy) complains about being stuck in The '70s, he stares sadly at a Partridge Family lunchbox.
  • I Think I Do (1997) has lots of references. While Matt and Carol were in college, they had sex to "I Think I Love You" in a room with a poster of David Cassidy on the wall. At their wedding, Eric plays Voice Of The Beehive's version of the song. One of Matt's wedding gifts is an empty birdcage from an aunt who heard he liked partridges. "Somebody Wants to Love You" plays over a scene of everyone going to bed with their partners, "Only a Moment Ago" plays after Sterling catches Bob cheating, and "Brand New Me" plays while Bob and Brandon ride on the train together and Bob unwraps a cassette of The Partridge Family Album.

  • The Couch Gag featured on one episode of You Can't Do That on Television has "The Partridge Family Get Shot", with a caricature of a bunch of partridge birds killed by hunters.
  • In the Family Ties episode "Spring Reminds Me," Evelyn says that her late daughter Rosalie owned every Partridge Family album in sixth grade, even though it wasn't cool anymore.
