David Bruce Cassidy (April 12, 1950 – November 21, 2017) was an American actor and singer. He was best known for starring in The Partridge Family as Keith Partridge, a role that turned him into a massive Teen Idol in the early 1970s.
His parents were Jack Cassidy and Evelyn Ward. He was the older half-brother of Shaun Cassidy and Patrick Cassidy and the father of Katie Cassidy.
