The starting point is always the first Police Academy movie, in which Steve chooses to join the police force, and no matter which path the viewers choose, it will always end on a Police Academy sequel in which he returns to the force or just disappears altogether if the ending is Police Academy 5...only to be interrupted by a Lavalantula.
